Fantastic service and great food! Went there for breakfast for my anniversary. No regrets

I was most impressed! I showed up EARLY, took advantage of the early bird special and got biscuits and gravy with hash browns. My meal was PERFECT. Hold on. I'm just getting started. Becca's took me back to the comforts of a two stoplight hometown. They aren't pretentious. Becca's is an experience. Honest and simple, Becca's is that and the whole package. It wasn't long after being seated, greeted, my order placed and a hot cup of coffee in my hand that I realized that my host, my server, my cook and my would be cashier was all the same guy. He was FANTASTIC. He was efficient, kept my coffee cup steaming and served righteous biscuits & gravy with hash browns that were crisp, brown & buttery on the outside yet dreamy soft & tender on the inside. Becca's is obviously a locals joint in a town where everybody probably knows everybody even across generations. And of course the one guy running the whole show knew people by name and knew their orders without asking. When I'm passing through, I hope I'll have time to stop for breakfast again! read more

This small intimate restaurant reminds me very much of the past. Upon entering this place you can see there's artifacts of bygone years. The western Americana theme completely decorates the operation. It's almost like dining at a period museum. There's so much to see and read, that before you know it your food has arrived. I need to rave about their delicious breakfast; especially the French toast, eggs and bacon. The portions are generous , the cost is affordable, and the staff is cordial. The next time I'm in town for a fishing trip, I will certainly make a stop here again. read more

The food was good but the portion was small. It was busy with only 1 waitress when we arrived. She was doing her best but the service was hit and miss. It's a small establishment and we were crammed into tight quarters which felt like people were sitting on our laps. I would give it a 3.5 if I could but the food makes it closer to a 4 than a 3. read more

My husband and I ordered a huge breakfast. Everything tasted like butter flavored crisco( or something). My potatoes were not crispy as ordered. My eggs dripped the butter flavored grease. The gravy was good though. read more

Little cafe that'll fill up your breakfast craving! We ordered different breakfast plates and they were good, not something to wow about but they're better quality than breakfast chains. The restaurant has an oddly placed restroom. There began my chat with the cooks. Apparently, the place used to be a dentist's office so the kitchen and restroom is at an odd spot. They were nice enough to give me warnings on how to proceed through and out. Overall great place to stop by for breakfast! Also, almost all locals eat here supporting a family owned business in their town which is nice. read more

Went 4/30/24 @ 10:45 we arrived we sat down waited almost 10 minutes before the waitress came and took our drink order it was 11 minutes so I went to the owner and ask for 2 menus then rolled myself back to the table another 11 minutes he finally asked us if we order we said no he had a waitress take our order we ordered ,er finally receive our food and the omelette was all wrong, told take it all back I didn't get my order and went to pay for the other two meal and the owner chewed my a"" right in front of other customers and told him your waitress had the order wrong not my fault told him I would not be back at all me. I just want to start this review to say this is the only restaurant we have found since moving here that is consistently good. Not only that, but Becca learned my fiance's name fast and knows him by his love for burnt Linguiça. That said, when you come to a hole in the wall breakfast place loved by locals as much as this place, don't be pissed if there's a wait when you arrive at 10:30 on a Sunday morning. They do not deserve comments like, "You just lost a $100 table." Dude, like I said, LOVED by locals. Missing your $100 table isn't going to hurt them. If you're that hangry that you're going to be rude to this hard working and wonderful family, please go somewhere else and feed your beast. We all understand. We love not only their business practices, but how they have stepped up in the past to help other local restaurants in time of need. I used to go there quite often because I like their specials. Also I was able to get some items that I particularly like even though they weren't listed on the specials board. I'm at the owner and she's very nice. Service is good, although sometimes I share a table with another customer, which is fine by me because I would rather share a table with another customer and maybe make a new friend or acquaintance then to wait for something to open up and then just me at a table, which makes no sense read more

Southern Cali omelet and Spanish omelet were delicious. Ours had 3 eggs, but you could have up to 5 eggs! Wheat and rye toast and potatoes. We stopped here since we knew we would have a long detour around a wildfire, but as we were eating we were told of a vehicular head-on collision on the detour road we planned to take. Now all roads north were closed and other roads tremendously backed-up with trailer trucks and cars. We were here for a couple of hours trying to figure how to get north. Our coffee mugs had a "tortoise acres" logo so we went to the adoption center to learn more. Becca was very helpful at the cafe. Becca's Cafe is a good place for breakfast and brunch! They are a local type place. A bit out of the main flow of things but I like that about this place. Also, cowboy style interior which I'm good with haha. Yeah, and they are Veteran friendly which I am definitely down with. I talked with the owner and his son is in Afghan. I feel for him. But I got to asked about these care boxes and I wanted to know who they were sending them to. That's how that conversation got started. He wanted to give me a discount for being a veteran but I already paid. I told him it is really okay. He was very nice. This place is definitely a small town breakfast place. For the price and the good service I was pleased with my experience here. I will say their prices are better than the restaurant I went to which was next to my hotel. We paid under $25 for 2 adults and 2 kids. That's a hell of a deal. Good luck to his son and hope he makes it home safe from Afghanistan. Oh that reminds me his son is in Afghan and they send care boxes over to deployed units. I appreciated those care boxes when I was in Iraq. They really did bring the moral up. I grew up in Anderson, and I can't believe I've never been here before. I recently stopped in for Saturday morning breakfast around 10 am, and the place was PACKED. I was super impressed with the service - both speed, and friendliness, and quality. Even with it being as busy as it was, we were in and out in 45 minutes. Our drinks were refilled, we didn't have to wait to pay; they are clearly a well-oiled machine. The food was about what you would expect from a diner style restaurant. I got the chili omelette, my husband got a french dip sandwich. Honestly, the food was alright - not the best I've ever had but certainly not the worst. The prices were excellent. If you're looking for a solid breakfast with fast, friendly service, this is your place. read more

This place is a bit of a drive, but so much better than the chain restaurants right off the freeway. We got there around 10:00 AM on a Saturday morning, and every table was full, so we ended up sharing a large table with another group. That was plenty fun. Our coffee was refilled as fast as we could drink it, and the waitress was helpful and funny. It seemed like a lot of customers were regulars, but they made us feel right at home too. My husband had a Big Breakfast with ham, sausage, bacon, eggs, hash browns, and a biscuit with gravy. He said all of the meat was plump and flavorful, and the biscuit melted in his mouth. I had eggs and bacon, scrambled with cheese and house potatoes, with a pancake instead of toast. The bacon was crispy, they were generous with the cheese, and they had the green jalapeño Tabasco-my favorite kind. The potatoes were crispy on the outside, soft and warm inside. The portions were so large, I took over half of it home to eat later. The food is great, the customer service was fantastic, and the prices are reasonable. We will be back the next time we're passing through. As we left, our waitress offered my husband a large to-go cup of coffee "for the road". Saw a review about racism by the staff but it was from awhile back so decided to grab a bite here as we were passing through. As soon as we walked in, all eyes were on us. Not in the most welcoming way but at first, we thought it was due to being a clear "out of towner". As we sat, I realized that I may not be welcome with multiple pro gun/republican signage (nothing wrong with that, we all have our beliefs, but typically those beliefs align with folks that don't welcome me - a black woman). After our waitress asked for our drinks, a regular (everyone knew him by name) pulled her to the side and said "if you have any trouble with her(meaning me), let me know and I'll take care of it" and she laughed and walked to the back. Moral of the story, if you're just passing through - I wouldn't recommend stopping by unless you'd like to be ogled, laughed at, and made uncomfortable. We quickly ate our food (typical bland diner food) and left a nice tip because I know COVID has been rough on everyone and left as quick as we could. read more

A few people I know in Anderson touted Becca's Cafe as the best breakfast in the area. As a HUGE fan of breakfast foods I had to do some investigating myself. Here's what I found. This is a really old fashioned style cafe complete with one or two regulars who don't mind helping the staff out and cleaning when things get busy. It's kind of charming to be honest. The food is pretty darn good and lived up to my expectations. I got the three egg breakfast and the eggs were cooked perfectly, the toast as well, and the hash browns were amazing and crispy. The high point however is the breakfast sausage; it was easily my favorite I've ever had. It might look a little humble from the outside but these folks sure know how to knock out a great breakfast! read more
