We had a bee mystery! 2 years in a row hundreds of dead bees in our house and then the following year hundreds of dead bees in our interior courtyard. We called Bee Busters who we have used at another property. Chris said I'll bet there is an old hive in your chimney. He was right, this is less than 1/2 of what he extracted of a "VERY OLD" hive. The reason for hundreds of dead bees was because it appears previous owner had something like termite pesticide sprayed to eradicate them and bees would be drawn to the hive and die. He is very knowledgable and it turned out to be a complicated issue/entry into my attic which resulted in having to come inside and open up the ceiling in my guest room to access their hive. Being very allergic to bees, i was very nervous but Chris was great! He sealed off the room, discovered a bigger than expected bee hive/honeycomb lair and dealt with it all with a great attitude (funny and smart man!!) and carried off several large buckets of honeycomb. He vacuumed up all the bees and debris and left it spotless, not one bee. I was so relieved. Rick, who was recommended by Chris, came and did his magic. He sealed up the opening, stuffed it with insulation and did a beautiful job repairing the ceiling and plastering it in the speckled manner which matched EXACTLY the rest of the ceiling. The representative lady was very nice and professional. scheduling process was very simple and I can feel the expertise and honesty right away. Just as I stepped out of the house to run some errands, I noticed a swarm of bee's on the side of my house. I realized that there was a large collection of bees on the eaves of my house (just under the overhang of the roof). This is right over the area where my dogs typically hang out. As I started cursing to myself, I was able to look up and call Bee Buster's. They let me know their availability, and promptly sent over Chris only a few hours later. What a relief! Chris was able to calmly assess the situation, explain what he was going to do, and what to expect. He told me to go back in the house where I was able to relax, and then he rang the doorbell when he was finished. He said they vacuumed up about 3.5 lbs of bee's. When I asked him how many that was, he said it was about 25k bee's, which really shocked me. He said that there would be a couple of dozen or so hanging around for the next week or so, but the spray should take care of them. He also told me that they could do a follow-up if there should be any issues. I am very happy with the service received. Chris and the operator on the phone were both very professional and pleasant to work with. If I have a Bee situation, I will be calling Bee Busters again. read more

Redundant review but this business has a few Yelp accounts.... I called late night on a holiday and they answered. Explained my situation, emailed them pictures and they educated me. Was given options from waiting it out a day or two or spending the money for removal which they didn't find necessary and suggested I save my money. That's uncommon for businesses in this type of industry. Sure enough after about 24 hours the bees left just like they thought they would. We had an early bee infestation and our neighbors grandkids are allergic, so we wanted to nip it quickly. We called several companies and decided to go with Bee Busters because of the knowledge and information given on the initial call. Coincidentally another company would be in our neighborhood, so he stopped by to give an estimate. That company said they would have to take the roof tiles off, remove the tar paper and remove the plywood to remove and save the hive. He would also repair the roof. The quote was $800. We had Bee Busters come out and treat a bee hive after a failed attempt from a different company and many of our own attempts to treat the area. The bees were embedded in a concrete block wall so they could not be easily removed. Bee Busters drilled into the wall to distribute the poison throughout the hive and sealed the access points into the wall. The bees were gone within a matter of days. They also advised us how to better seal the wall and maintain the area so no bees return. I highly recommend them. read more
