That's when I happened to get a strong recommendation for Moises Diaz of Hilltop Pest Solutions. Moses instituted a carefully thought out program of luring what turned out to be one very large, very smart trap-adverse rat to his eventual death. It took about 2 weeks, during which Moises often came to our home and I texted him each morning with a report. The fee he requested was relatively small, a real value. In the end, I gave him a hearty bonus, along with some home baked cookies. My husband and I are endlessly grateful to him and recommend Hilltop Pest Solutions at the highest possible level. It was major work. The insulation in the attic was removed and new material was put in after they thoroughly cleansed the attic. I wanted an estimate not only on rodent prevention but also disinfecting the basement and vacuuming up the existing rodent droppings. Since this is the first time I have used such a service, I did not know what sort of cost was involved and was surprised to see online estimates ranging into the thousands of dollars, so I prepared myself for the assumed cost. Nate from Rodent Professor came out promptly at the appointed time and inspected the entire house -- basement, attic, inside the house itself -- and pointed out several potential points of entry into the basement and attic.
