My favorite brazilian churrasco in the Atlanta area. It's really a lunch spot, they close before traditional dinner service. It's also a small place with only ~10 tables and it's very much a hole in the wall. But the food is delicious, the picanha may put you down for a nap right after. It's an amazing place of you wanted unlimited red meat. Came in on a Tuesday evening with a friend, and it was pretty empty. You grab a plate, fill it with some sides, then at the end of the line, you can ask for any kinda meat they have. There's a list of all the meat. I think all of them are available except for one or two that's only on the weekends. Personally all the sides are solid. They're nothing grand to write about, but all the essentials are there such as salad, beans, rice, desserts, etc. The meats however are pretty amazing. It depends on your preference, but all of them are pretty decent. My favorite was beef tenderloin as it's tender and fatty. I always get grilled pineapple as a side too. There are plenty of options, so if you're feeling adventurous you could try one of each too! The place could seem kinda sketchy but I think it's plenty fine. The servers are nice too. I've never been to fogo, so I can't compare. I've heard it's marginally better than here so I'm reluctant to try if the price is 3x as much. This place is soooo good!!! It's a hidden gem. They have a good selection of meats and sides. I just love how casual and no frills it is: sit down, pick up a plate, fill it with some salad / carb- fried plantains or whatever, then pick your favorite meats from the grill. I am a huge fan of the chicken hearts, tenderloin, but honestly, you can't go wrong with any of it. The staff is very friendly and welcoming as well! As I sit here writing this review I wonder how I'm going to roll myself out of the door. The meat is good really good. My favorite is the tenderloin (picanha) cut. I go for the cucumbers, white rice (so buttery), plantains, and the meats! Don't forget to get the green sauce and pico de gallo to go with the meat. My son said to tell you it's amazing! This is one of my favorite places to eat. I also prefer this restaurant over the higher end versions that are more expensive too. The service has always been great here. The servers are quick to get you anything you need. The food is even better. For anyone that enjoys wings, you will be addicted to the ones here. Seriously, I can eat these all day. I normally pickup my food from beef grill and never have any issues. However, I was excited to see they were on door dash, so I ordered 12 wings through door dash and this is what I received. At about 15 bucks per person for an ALYCE Brazilian steakhouse, this is not that bad. However, your choices are a bit limited, so keep that in mind. I enjoyed most of their beef choices, but the salt level was too much. My brazilian brother-in-law pointed out that the guy on the grill wasnt tapping out the salt as he should, and that's why I was getting this big clumps of rock salt in most of my bites. Looking at him more carefully, I would say he was really busy watching futbol at the time, and he wasnt really paying too much attention to how much salt he was putting. I also tried out some lamb, that was good. The sausage was a bit on the saltier side, but tolerable, and the pork I had was dried out. I didnt even bother to try out the chicken. Side items were great - I enjoyed the rice, but my most fave would be their fruit salad. It was simple, yet very refreshing - i had 3 servings of that. As for the actual place - it is a bit small, and there was a 30 minute wait when we came in during lunchtime on a weekend. Service was super kind - I forgot our server's name, but he had big glasses on, and he was very very welcoming and warm. The guys on the grill (although a bit distracted) were very nice and charming as well. So 5 star on friendliness. All in all, not too bad, but the salt was a bit too overwhelmingly memorable that I dont think I will be rushing to come back anytime soon. I grew up in Brazil and I miss being at home. This place is authentic and amazing!!!! Reminded me of our family cook-outs (churrascos). Every bite was better than the one before. They have 3 beef options with the sirloin being the juiciest. Garlic beef was a bit chewy and not as moist. Also, didn't really get that garlic flavor I assumed it had. Otherwise, good for all you can eat Brazilian buffet. They only have 4 four tops, the 5 other tables seat 2 or 3 people only. They should limit how much a person asks for in one stop. Some real selfish man with silver hair and his female companion held back the line at the grill service area over 7 minutes because they had 2 plates each and asked for almost every damn type of meat. I debated not posting a review so I could keep this gem a secret, but sharing is caring. My husband and I arrived at 2pm on a Saturday and were met with a line of about three in front of us - always a good sign to me. By the time we were called in, a 5+ person deep line had formed behind us. As a self proclaimed hole-in-the-wall addict, I was in heaven. We quickly lined up behind a large group of construction workers who'd just lined up before us, and sat in awe watching the meat being cooked. Beef Grill's buffet is brilliant: filling stuff first. At the front of the line, you're tempted by delicious looking desserts, then vegetables, followed by pre-cooked meat (a delicious stew & roasted pork butt), and finally the churrasco. It was truly a site to behold; there seemed to be over thirty different spits turning hypnotically. My first plate had sausage, sirloin, lamb, beef stew, pork shoulder, some meatloaf hybrid, and chicken heart. I grabbed the meat loaf, stew, shoulder, and heart out of curiosity and was honestly blown away. Having never had heart before, I was really pleasantly surprised by the mild flavor and complementary seasoning. After quickly demolishing my first plate, I had to get seconds, despite not needing it. Everything was just too darn good... My second plate had lamb (it was delicious, okay), more chicken heart, beef rib, and chicken wings. Again, I easily finished everything on my plate and ultimately had to fight my fat kid tendencies to keep going. As I left, I reaffirmed to my husband that this was my dream restaurant: meat, authentic, hole in the wall, and priced well. The servers were extremely friendly and helpful. The place is in a small strip mall and doesn't look like much from the outside or the inside but don't let that stop you from eating here. In Atlanta for the SEC Championship game involving LSU and we stayed in the Sandy Springs/Perimeter area----we looked for a place to eat on Friday evening and via yelp search we read about Beef Grill---since it was relatively near us we decided to see what it's about----there was a photo of the location and yes, it's accurate----a Brazilian type steakhouse located in a strip mall where there's a Subway, nail salon and I think a dry cleaners-----the restaurant itself is a hole in the wall which is more fitting of a Chinese takeout joint but inside Beef Grill are approximately 8-9 tables which could seat approximately 30-35 people. Tables and chairs are not fancy but when we arrived at 8:00 pm there were only 2 open tables. We were seated , our drink order was taken and we were left to ourselves----we saw people standing in a serving line so that's where we went---Beef Grill has buffet-style selections for dessert, salad , vegetables, bread, and a few non-read meats before you get to the main course----for better or worse, there is only 1 person who waits and provides you the red meat. He is at the end of the serving line and thus the reason for the wait---when you get to him, to his back are the available meats ---you tell him what you want, he turns around and get it and then brings the skewered meat in front of you and cuts---and then you do this again until you want to sit and eat--when done, you start all over.... The available meats included sirloin, pork, lamb, brisket, sausage, chicken---and some of the selections were dressed with parmesan Or bacon. Price of this opportunity is less than $15/person and you can order it to go which means a large to go box and a small to go box for $12 or so. Overall, this is a fast food type Brazilian steakhouse---nothing fancy, not the highest quality but inexpensive, and well worth a visit unless you have to have fancy. read more

Hands down the best Brazilian food in town! I came all the way from California back, and this is my first meal! The meat is fresh, and well-grilled. The taste is just simple and good. You gotta have the Picanha. Simple seasoning with sea salt, then tossed on the grille. Man, hard to resist! When ever I was going down Roswell Rd., I've been noticing the Name "Beef Grill" not the best name for a restaurant, in fact it scared me a little because of the name, but it turned out to be a good experience. It's for sure it's a tiny hole in the wall restaurant, with few tables and chairs, when I first walked in I was told to sit anywhere I want, but not sure how the process works, I asked the waitress, she said "don't speak English" and pointed me to the guy at the cash register, he told me to grab a plate and enjoy, the cost is $13.99 per person, he also asked me what do I want to drink? Sodas, or fruit juices (Cashew & Papaya). The buffet table had various desserts, salads and cooked dishes, like beans, pork, and chicken dishes. I got myself a lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes, and then the meat counter, the meat guy was friendly, I asked for rare meats, and offered me perfectly rare slices of various meats including lamb. The meat was very tender, and quite flavorful from the garlic and the salt. The restaurant decore was very techy, several monitors with a wooden frame around it showing slideshow of various images, the monitor above the meat section was showing "Meat" photos of various cooked meats, the 3 monitors above the buffet showed various food photos they took. and the tv above the register was showing sports.
