Went here for my birthday after almost canceling due to mixed reviews and I'm so glad I didn't. The food , the drinks , the service all 10/10. It's pricy but was well worth it.

Very cute and classy restaurant. Aesthetically pleasing but food is a lot more on the pricey side and would only recommend you go for special occasions. If you want a fine dining experience it was spot on. Staff was great from the moment you walk into the restaurant, to when you leave. Food was good but not great lack of flavor for some of the entrees. The appetizers were better.

Overall great experience from service to seating to apps, dinner, dessert and wine. All enjoyable. The branzino was the star for me. Highly rec. The crispy rice could have been more flavorful but maybe it's because I'm a fan of spice . The Brussels amazing and so was the beef. They have a great wine collection and highly capable Sommeliers to assist you find the perfect one.

Excellent! Great vibe. Very popular. Was here for a small get together with a good friend who has been here before. This place is popular and the service is as is expected for a restaurant of this type. Wait at the bar and fight for an opportunity to have a drink. I feel bad for those who eat at the bar as people are constantly coming up behind them and getting drinks through them. Food was delicious. See pics. Standouts were: Beef Wellington Wagyu bolongese Quesadillas Seabass crudo Great place and cool vibe. Will be back!

Beefbar has a large space in the heart of Tribeca, with bouncers standing outside. It's a bit of a scene, but has the flexibility to cater to different types of patrons. There is bar seating, lounge seating, as well as a main dining room. Our group last minute requested to add 2 people to our reservation, and they were able to accommodate that. Food wise, the menu has a lot of options at various price points. They offer complimentary spiced crackers to begin. My party did not order anything from the pricier steak offerings. We stuck to the street food page and ordered many for the table to share. We got the croque sando, bao bun, Japanese milk bread, rock corn, crispy rice, and seasonal heirloom tomatoes dish. Also tried the truffle fries and jalapeño mash. Standouts for me were the croque sando, rock corn, truffle fries, and Japanese milk bread. The rock corn is prepared similarly to shrimp tempura, which was a fun take. Overall, it was a nice evening with good dishes.

My friends have been to Beefbar a few times and took me while I'm visiting. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous - great vibes, music, and interior decor. Our waitress was super pleasant and checked in on us often. Food, on the other hand, was just average at best. There wasn't a specific dish or cocktail (color of money) that blew my mind for the price. Believe it or not, I thought the best tasting ones were the strawberry cheesecake, truffle fries with pieces of truffles, and the spinach salad. My least favorite were the croque sando and the bao buns. The croque sando sauce was a bit overpowering and the beef inside tasted like tender beef jerky. It was interesting. As for bao buns, the presentation was cool with the smoke but the filling tasted like shredded beef drenched in sweet hoisin sauce for lack of better description. Wagyu burger and Wagyu bolognese were just okay.

Outstanding ambiance and service! The restaurant is beautiful, spacious, and clean. I stopped in the bar area and ,while it was quite busy, I immediately got service. The staff were polite and attentive.

The food and drinks were good. They hand stuff the olives for dirty martinis. So good! Opted for a number of appetizers and then splitting the bolognese and cheesecake - next time I would definitely opt for steak. I was a little confused by how nutty they were about the dress code leading up considering some of the people we saw there. Most people were dressed to the nines but a girl at the table next to us was in an adidas track suit and we saw a whole group of guys in denim and T shirts.

We celebrated a birthday at BeefBar, and overall it turned into a wonderful night with incredible food and great service. We started with two appetizers, the Croque Sando made with dry-aged beef ribeye ham, mozzarella, and La Sauce, and the Wagyu Quesadillas filled with braised Wagyu beef, Oaxaca cheese, and black truffle. Both dishes were rich, unique, and absolutely delicious. A perfect start. For dinner, we ordered the 10oz American Wagyu filet with sides of bacon and shishito peppers, and the Wagyu Bolognese, homemade pappardelle with a Wagyu beef ragu and Parmesan. Every bite was incredible. The flavors were bold, the textures were perfect, and both dishes were cooked beautifully. Dessert was an unexpected highlight. They were out of the one dessert we wanted since my boyfriend has a nut allergy and couldn't have most of the desserts, but our waiter surprised us with two complimentary desserts in honor of the birthday celebration, such a thoughtful gesture. The only downside was our arrival. The hostess was noticeably snooty, which definitely put a damper on the excitement we had walking in, hard to imagine that still happening in 2025. Thankfully, our waiter, the ambiance, and the food turned the night around completely. In the end, it was a great birthday dinner and a well spent $500 for two.

Went here for my girlfriend birthday. First things first the location is gorgeous it's the old Nobu. I think the lounge is best to dine in on weekends for the live DJ & vibes if you're young. Now let's get to the food. They are best for small bites order from the street food section and you won't be disappointed. I think because they are a Monaco themed restaurant it's tricky to nail Italian and French at the same time but I think their Japanese and Mexican selection work well lol. I love the milk bread and wagyu quesadillas. I should have ordered double quesadillas instead of the wagyu pasta. I heard to stay away from the steak ironically so I guess it was slow stakes getting the pasta lol. Annie was a great help she was very knowledgeable and treated my girl to champagne and crème brûlée at the end of the night. I'd definitely come back to catch a vibe

Excellent Service. Beautiful space - would recommend dining in the Lounge bc of the live dj. Would recommend ordering a bunch of items of the "street food menu" - everything is so good.

First of all, the service is terrific. I walked in as a "one" and got to sit in this adorable little solo seat up on the second floor, which had a great view of all of the goings on down below me. Then I ordered a Classic Bloody Mary and their Deluxe French Dip from a friendly and competent server. When the Bloody Mary came out, it looked almost pink, which had given me the false sense that it might not be all that flavorful. Boy, was I wrong. It was an incredibly tasty cocktail. It honestly might have been one of the best I've ever had! The Deluxe French Dip was insane. It was a vision of beauty. I just couldn't even figure out how I was going to eat it without making a complete mess of myself. I even asked the waiter if he had a recommendation. He just told me, "You just have to own it" and brought me a stack of napkins. And "own it" I did. It was so delicious and decadent. It involves so many deep flavors. I particularly loved the horseradish sauce. Being a native New Yorker I often scoff at these madly, popular eateries that draw large crowds of people taking selfies while they're eating, but between the service, the food, the decor and the overall vibe, I honestly believe I understand why this place is so wildly popular. And you should go check it out too.

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water. I would return to Friedman's when I'm in the Herald Square area, or check out one of their other locations in the city.

Our server (I think Brian?) was super attentive and charismatic, and walked us through the menu right away. The server had the whole floor and the place is VERY tiny, but I never felt like the service was fake. Wine and beer only (to alert my cocktail lovers), but luckily for us we were in the middle of dry January so although I very much appreciate a cocktail it wasn't too much of a problem. What really shines is the food - just WOW! We were a table of three so we each did the Three-Course meal and shared: Biscuits to start: AMAZING! First Course: Burrata, Pimento Cheese, and Collard Greens Second Course: Ravioli, Gnocchi, and Tagliatelle. Special shoutout to the Reuben-flavored ravioli and Chicken & Dumpling flavored Gnocchi Third Course: Nashville Fried Chicken, and Catfish Everything tasted so so so good and original - I've quite literally never had anything like any of the pastas we tried. The one tiny critique I have is that I don't think a slice of white bread under the fried chicken was necessary. I know it's tradition but I didn't need it with all of the other amazing amazing food we had. All of the desserts sounded absolutely amazing but unfortunately we were all so full and had a show to run to, but I will 100% be back hopefully multiple times and will know for the next time to save some room. Overall 10/10. Definitely recommend getting a reservation as the entire space is maybe 15 seats total!

We got the Miso Carbonara Tagliatelle and the Lamb Ragu Orecchiette. Miso carbonara was rich and scrumptious, umami bomb. I'm normally a cream sauce girlie over red, but the lamb ragu stole the show. Super tender chunks of lamb and the pasta was perfectly al dente. Incredible pastas! The mains were okay, pork chop was a bit too salty and the fried catfish was really underwhelming. Service is good, very friendly and efficient. Decor inside is cute too. I think I misordered, if i came back would def stick to the pastas and maybe try the fried chicken. So, I ordered the fried chicken, greens, yams, extra side of 'tato salad, AND a sweet potato pie. The girl working there was great! Had a great time talking to her and was happy to tip.
