I love the classic diner atmosphere and the music they played was great. The pancakes I ordered tasted a little weird, but nothing gross enough not to eat. I guess it's okay for a $4-5 price range... But what really impressed me was their milkshakes. The shakes were delicious and reasonably priced. I'll definitely be returning for milkshake in the future. I've always passed this place when growing up but never stopped in. I finally did and I'm so upset at myself for having missed out on fresh fast food for so long! I had an avocado turkey burger with grilled onions. It was one of the best turkey burgers I've had. It was not dry like turkey burgers can typically turn out. I really adore the atmosphere. I love the Americana diner vintage feel. It really is no surprise how they made their staple on LA. This place is super affordable too. My burger was under $5! What a steal! Cheap and fresh!! I LOVE Beeps. The only reason I'm taking a star away is because I treated myself to a Reese's shake. It was delicious, but I could not drink it because the straw was too thin and flimsy. Average hamburger place. Nothing special. I have even tried the BLT, which was subpar. Shredded lettuce on a BLT? Really? Aside from cool 60's decor that some kids may ask who is that and what did they do, it will make you feel old or smart. There are better burger joints around town. read more

I live right by Beeps. The shakes are my favorite shakes around (better than In n Out) and they use Thirfty's ice cream. The food is okay but not the tastiest or freshest I've had. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but it's one of the only places walking distance to my house so it works out. read more

I love there banana shakes!! The rest of there foos is good too. They have very good breakfast foods, pancakes, french toast, home fries, eggs, its all good. they serve breakfast all day except for waffles. There burgers and sandiches are good. I likw there cheese steak. The menu can be a bit overwhelming, theyve got everything on it! But take your time, and they are welcome to substitutions as well. The absolute worst example of a Chicago dog I have ever had. A split down the center tasteless cheap hot dog, served with Ketchup, pickle wedge, 2 hot peppers on an egg sesame bun! No relish, no tomato, not even mustard! I even asked for spicy mustard... They do make a great shake though. read more

First time here. Read great reviews and was really hoping to like this place... upon entering, we were promptly greeted by very friendly staff. Ordered a 12" Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with pepperjack &cheddar, and chili cheese fries. the fries came out good as expected, but was very disappointed with the sandwich. the portion was huge which is a bonus. the downside is that not only was the sandwich served on a sesame seed bun (which I thought was bizarre), but it tasted like something was missing, so I opened it up and behold... the cheese appeared to be added just as garnish as there were only trace amounts of yellow and I wasn't able to even locate the provolone. 2 thumbs down for the sandwich. :( I would have given a 1 star rating if it wasn't for the nice staff coming over to check to see if we were doing alright and if we needed anything else. since the cashiers didn't make the sandwich, I didn't bother complaining. oh yeah, and if anyone likes a little side of ranch with their food, be advised that they charge for it. read more

This place is packed most of the time. I waited 4 minutes at the outside window for someone to take my order. 3 ladies walked by and said be right with you. Mean time I noticed they kept taking orders inside. Another person the same thing we decided to go inside only to see someone else taking orders at the window. They're a bit disorganized, the menu is so confusing, feels like trying to put together a puzzle. Their food is good nothing to say on that. Service can be improved. read more
