Tasty fresh healthy clean! That describes my order of a light and delicious ample-sized salmon sushi roll! I loved it! Ate it so eagerly that I forgot to snap a pic. No worries bc I'll be ordering the same take out delivery (I used Grubhub) from here again tonight! The person who took my order was so sweet and patient as I tweaked my roll by adding this (smoked salmon & onion) and taking out that (avacado)! The jalapeño appetizer was also so delish!!!! Four very lightly fried, cream cheese-stuffed jalapeño pepper skins filled w/spicy tuna! You have to try 'em! Tastes as good as it sounds. These too, we finished before thinking to snap pics! I haven't been to Bei proper in quite some time, but I remember it always being really good. I placed on order online from the express location, and it was just as good as I remembered! We ordered a few different rolls and apps and everything tasted fresh and was ready when I came into pick it up (in fact they accidently gave a me a miso soup that I didn't order). They packaged everything really nicely as well. It was very clean when I walked in and had an interesting look to it with the touch screen menus if you place an order when you walk in. This is a particularly good time for a place like this that seems to be catered more towards take-out and/or getting in and out pretty quickly if you choose to dine in. I'll be back. read more

I have been ordering to go orders for about 3 years. I have not had a bad experience yet, and I would I order sushi here about 3-4 times a month. I always get the dragon roll and spider roll with a couple of appetizers. The chicken karaag appetizer is always hit or miss. It'd a cripsy light battered chicken. I like Bei, but I'm a little disappointed in Bei Express. The sushi is great (5 stars), but the deep fried items aren't too good (3 stars). The calamari and chicken katsu wasn't very crispy or hot. The sauce for calamari was good, but the sauce for the chicken katsu tasted like a mixture of butter and katsu sauce. Tasted very strange. The dressing for the salad was pure miso. First time here, I wish I could give it 5 stars because it seems like a 5 star kind of a place. However they lost a few points with me for the following reasons; I waited for 15 for a bento box when I was the only person there when I arrived (I understand that they just opened this place but 15 min?), one of the staff members handed my food to someone else, (again understandable as they are a new business), the chicken Katsu's breading was completely separated from the chicken and it was kind of warmish? Definitely an indication that this wasn't cooked to order in my book. The California roll had its own issue, the rice was definitely overcooked... it was like a rice mush around the Nori, not that pleasant perfect single bite I expect for sushi. (Tbh I have had better sushi from the grocery store) ... Also I ordered eel sauce on the side and didn't get it. Over all I think they have a lot of potential to be a 5 star place that I will want to come back to over and over again. But right now it's not that place for me. Bland, tasteless scallop rolls... who makes a scallop roll and forgets to season the scallops? This place does. It relies on the fact that you're going to add soy sauce to the roll as the seasoning. Here's a tip, salt isn't the flavoring, it enhances the flavor of what's there. I just got a mouth full of bland fish. Thanks. They also add imitation crab mix to EVERY roll so it has a funky, flavor of awful... no thank you. There was so much of that "crab mix" on their scallop whatever-it-was-called-roll, I got sick from the fakeness and heavy mayo. I only order from there for the stuffed jalapeños. Those are good, but not worth the added pain of what I have to buy to justify a full order. I'm not going back. read more

Honestly some of the nicest staff I've ever met! I got the spicy poke bowl and as someone who's from Hawaii I can say this is one of the best poke bowls I've found on the mainland.
