Salt and Pepper Chicken with Chow Mein
    Riq H.

Stopped by Beiing Café and had the salt and pepper chicken with chicken chow mein, seriously hit the spot. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and had a nice little kick from the jalapeños. The chow mein was just right, not greasy, plenty of noodles, and full of flavor. Big portions too. Everything came out hot and fresh, and you can tell they cook with care. Definitely one of my new go-to spots when I'm craving good, simple Chinese food done right.

Kung pao chicken and fried rice. Huge portions. Great price and value

Guys. I found this place on yelp. Let me tell you. I'm absolutely impressed. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken and hot and sour soup. Both came out piping hot and the flavors burst in my mouth. The soup had tons of flavorful pieces of all the goodness you'd expect in this soup. The other dish was cooked to perfection. Tender chicken and all dente veggies. Im coming back for sure. Great value for the dollar as well

Great food! Huge portions, all can be shared and you'll still have leftovers. The staff were really friendly and attentive. We were the only ones eating inside, tons of to go orders were going out though. The wor wonton soup was great! Also recommend the pot stickers and fried shrimp!

Ambiance: This place is under new management. Nicely and simply interior. Food: I only ordered hot and sour soup. It was very good and hot to temperature. A good start. I need notice a very basic menu. No lunch specials, no house specials, or combinations. That seems the same from the previous owners. Hopefully, they will add those soon.

Food was great and portions were generous. Service was great too. The waiter was really kind and would check on us to ensure that we had a pleasant experience which I really appreciated! The interior decorations were so well-thought out as well.

The food was amazing! I'm in town for training and found this place on Yelp. The reviews did not disappoint. We ordered the Asparagus Beef, Sweet and Sour Pork, Hot and Sour Soup, the Potstickers and Cha Shu Bun (bbq pork). Everything was so delicious and made to order. The only bad thing I have to say is i live too far away to make this a regular spot for lunch/dinner. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home.

Great food! Hot and fresh with healthy portions. You really get your money's worth! I've ate here several times and have never been disappointed.

Featured Handmade Dumplings menu as of 6/24/23

I was required to order to go because it was a half hour before closing time. I made another stop and then needed a half hour to drive home, so food was not in its best state by the time I ate it. I did reheat the Chinese Pancake in a toaster oven and steam the Xiaolongbao again at home. Xiaolongbao or XLB (a.k.a. Shanghai soup dumplings) $13.99 - You get 8 dumplings. They all looked deflated by the time I got home. Some dumplings had big holes in them. The meat juices or soup had leaked into the To Go box. I tried one dumpling, whose meat filling seemed too firm, so I decided to steam the XLB again. Dumplings revived a little and tasted better after re-steaming. One dumpling had gristle. Wrappers are thin enough, which is good. Flavor is there, but I am unsure about the filling's texture and ingredient quality. For me, soup dumplings are meant to be eaten immediately at the restaurant. Chinese Pancake $11.99 - The pancakes still seemed warm by the time I got home, so maybe I didn't need to reheat. The wrapper dough was too thick and doughy and overwhelmed the filling of chives, glass noodles, and diced pork bits. I wished for more filling. You get 2 pastries wrapped like empanadas. At $6 each, I think I am better off pan-frying frozen ones from 99 Ranch. Parking was easy and convenient with angled parking spots in front of the restaurant. I thought the server was very nice. When I asked if I had time to walk around the plaza, he was cute to tell me exactly how many minutes and seconds were left to steam my Xiaolongbao!

Plenty of parking at the back of the stores. Go left or right and it'll lead you to wide open spaces with plenty of slots. The place is small. Orders are taken and paid at the counter. Honey Walnut Shrimp. 4/5. Not the best I've had and has room for improvement. The walnuts were perfectly crunchy though. Chicken Curry Rice Plate. 5/5. Great taste, adequate ratio of meat, vegetables and spices. Only complaint was there was too much rice. Steamed Pork Buns. 3/5. Lacked the flavors I was expecting (Filipino Siopao) and found it too seasoned that I had to tone it down with hoisin sauce.

Me and my family were here to visit in this area and were looking for a good place to eat . I found this on google so thought it was worth a shot , the pictures looked bomb and they have a decent variety on the menu. We sat down and ordered, the man taking our order was nice but he had an earbud in his ear and kept mishearing what we said . My youngest son ordered salt and pepper wings and a cup of egg drop soup . We all received our food promptly but my son was left waiting for the duration of the entire meal. I was wondering why it would take so long just for the cup of soup and when I asked him he said he would bring it and never did at all. The wings came out when everybody was done eating at our table and they were not good ! They were so salty and sweet at the same time but not in a good way. It tasted like they poured a bunch of salt and sugar on the wings . The presentation of our food was beautiful , but the taste was not there . My orange chicken was extremely salty as well. I could barely eat it. I had to cut it with a lot of white rice. And the rest of the orders nobody liked either my entire family disliked it, and they are not picky eater so that says a lot. My husband will eat anything and likes just about anything and he did not like any of the food either. I spent almost $90 on this place and it was a total waste of money and my poor son basically didn't get to eat at all since his wings were terrible and got there at the last minute and he never got his soup. The man working really needs to take off his earbuds so that he can hear properly because when I went to order to go boxes, I asked for four boxes and then he responded with two and I said no, four , and he said oh OK and came back out with only two. He obviously is having a hard time hearing with the earbud in. And in case anyone is wondering why we would need to go boxes if the food was terrible, I gave the food away to homeless people in the area since there was such large portions left .

07.16.2026 - PHO MOMMA - Sacramento, CA…read more I've been wanting to try Pho Momma for months, and today was finally the day. I happened to be in the area picking up some paperwork, so it was the perfect excuse to stop in. My first impression was excellent. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and comfortably busy--a great sign that people genuinely enjoy the food here. After being seated, I was greeted with a refreshing glass of ice water and a nicely laminated menu. The menu was straightforward and well-organized--not too overwhelming, yet with plenty of delicious options to choose from. I already knew what I wanted: pho and spring rolls. I ordered the Pork Sausage with Crispy Layers Spring Roll along with the #1 Pho (lean beef, flank, brisket, fat brisket, tripe, and tendon in a small bowl). Before leaving, I also ordered a Half & Half Pork and Shrimp Egg Rolls to take home. The Pork Sausage with Crispy Layers Spring Roll completely exceeded my expectations. I've never had anything quite like it. At first glance it looks like a traditional fresh spring roll, but hidden inside is an incredibly crispy layer that gives it an amazing texture. The contrast between the cool, fresh vegetables and the warm crispy center was absolutely delicious. It reminded me of the same satisfying contrast I experience when eating Japanese zaru soba with freshly fried shrimp tempura--the combination of cool and warm, soft and crispy, all in one bite. It was refreshing, unique, and incredibly satisfying. The pho was equally impressive. The broth was rich, flavorful, and comforting while still tasting clean and fresh. It didn't have that overly reduced or day-old taste that some pho broths develop after sitting too long. Instead, every sip tasted balanced and well-crafted. The broth was so good that I drank nearly half of it before even thinking about adding hoisin sauce. Out of curiosity, I added some midway through the meal, but honestly, it didn't need it. The broth stood perfectly well on its own. The basil, bean sprouts, and lime were perfectly portioned and complemented the soup beautifully. The bowl was so satisfying that I finished every last drop of the pho and still couldn't finish the spring roll. Later that evening, I tried the shrimp egg roll I had ordered to go, and it was another pleasant surprise. I've had firecracker shrimp before, but this was something different: shrimp and perfectly seasoned vermicelli noodles wrapped in a crisp shell, creating a flavorful, memorable bite. Every dish I tried offered something unique, and each one exceeded my expectations. Final Thoughts: Pho Momma absolutely lived up to the hype. From the welcoming atmosphere to the creative appetizers and exceptional pho, this was one of the most enjoyable Vietnamese dining experiences I've had in Sacramento. I enjoyed it so much that I'm already planning to bring friends with me next time. Highly recommended. It's definitely worth the visit.

The service is fast and efficient. We ordered the 5 piece wontons in hot chili oil, salt and pepper tofu and #4 pho. The pho was the star of the meal, the broth was bright, flavorful, so delicate. The wonton were good and the oil was tasty but I will not order it again. The tofu was breaded and served in strip form, it tasted of breading more than tofu. We will return but just focus on the pho next time.

Driving from Natomas it was a bit of a drive but I'm always down to try a new spot when she is in town. The parking situation at this restaurant was pretty nice-they share a big lot with many businesses,so parking was ample. We walked in towards the end of the night, like around 830pm,only a few people in there, but it was late. They have a pretty decent-sized restaurant with lots of tables,so I would feel comfortable going there with limited wait time most days. We sat down and they have a pretty decent sized menu with lots of options, but I was pretty sure I knew what we wanted. We went with Soft Tofu Soup($19.99). We also went with two orders of Dolsot Bibimbap ($20.99) Lastly we went with an order of their YangYum Chicken Wings($25.99) They provided us with complimentary Banchan as well-almost everything they provided was standard and they were yummy-I'd say the three of us ate about 90% of it-so good. The food came out pretty fast starting with the chicken wings. Overall the wings were pretty tasty and juicy but just a tad sweet for my taste. I tend to prefer my food on the spicier side. The soup came out next and it was sizzling. I really enjoyed the awesome flavor of the broth, very tasty and would order this again without hesitation. Now my son and I both got the Bibimbap and we both came to the same conclusions. -Aesthetic-perfect-almost didn't want to eat it. -Temperature-so hot with crunchy vegetables -loving it -Ingredients-perfect mixture of rice, meat, vegetables and egg -Taste-every bite was better than the last one and had me looking forward to the next bite. Easily my favorite Bibimbap I've had so far. Overall I would say I had a wonderful visit with my son and daughter and was so very happy that my daughter visiting me from Texas got me to add another great restaurant to my Sacramento resume. Just in case anyone is on the fence-traditional Korean cuisine is absolutely spectacular and I recommend that everyone should try it-it's so much more diverse than just Korean BBQ.

Seoulzip is located in a big shopping center and is a good-sized restaurants. Portions were generous and overall food was excellent with just one hiccup. The BBQ Chicken came on a sizzling platter, but initially about 20% of the chicken was undercooked and had pinkness. They took it back and re-cooked it to 109% doneness. Bulgolgi is our son's favorite and he ate most of it. The meat was sliced thicker than most other places but flavors were otherwise good and I like the level of sauce. Its easy to go overboard on sauce. The free banchan was excellent. as was their pork seafood tofu soup (mild spiciness). Wife felt it was one of the better Soondubus she's had.

The chicken katsu is still one of the best I've had--light, crispy, and perfectly crunchy on the outside, with juicy, tender chicken inside. Every visit has been consistently delicious, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I also tried the spicy pork again. It's a bit different from the Korean spicy pork I'm used to. Instead of the pork being marinated so the flavor is deeply infused, it seems to be grilled first and then coated with the sauce. While it's not the traditional style I expected, it's still flavorful and worth trying if you're open to a different take on the dish. In addition the chicken gangjeong dish that requires it to be "deep fried chicken" needs additional time to get crunchy like you would expect. I think the sauce may have made the crunch disappear. The consistency in both the food and the service is what keeps bringing me back. I'm looking forward to working my way through the rest of the menu. The bibimbap was fresh and well balanced, with plenty of vegetables, tender beef, and a perfectly fried egg that tied everything together. Every bite had a great mix of textures and flavor. Service was great, the waitress was nice and accomodating, the sushi chef was nice as well as he occasionally came by to serve the dishes. Dishes were good and didn't take too long. Overall was a very pleasant experience. Little qualm may just be the parking can get difficult if it's busy but besides that there's still parking around just gotta walk a bit.

I love the chili oil and vinegar at each table, and honestly, the service is great and food comes out fast but very fresh Highly recommend this for any dumpling lovers.

Customer Service: 0/10 It was our first time here, and the staff did not greet us when we walked in. We ordered our food from a kiosk, and the young Asian lady working didn't even inform us that there was self-serve water or where to find to-go boxes; we had to figure it out ourselves and go ask. Worse, she completely ignored my daughter when she tried to ask a question, literally trying to make herself look busy even though she knew my daughter was speaking to her. During our meal, we noticed that while she completely ignored us, she actively greeted and thanked the other customers who came in after us. When we left, she was standing right at the cash register and completely ignored us again. It is incredibly disappointing to see an employee be so selective about who they want to greet and provide decent customer service to. Furthermore, whether she is part of the family that owns the place or not, her attire was entirely inappropriate for a work environment--she was wearing black-and-white checkered pajama pants with an oversized t-shirt. Professionalism and basic courtesy seem entirely missing here. Please do better. Food Review: * Cucumber Salad: Had no flavor. It was basically just sliced cucumber tossed with some sesame oil. I love cucumber salad, so this was a major disappointment. Rate: 0/10 * Chili Wonton: Super plain with literally no flavor. I love chili wontons, and these were completely tasteless. Imagine eating wontons with absolutely no seasoning. Rate: 0/10 * Chow Mein: This was okay--probably the best dish out of everything we ordered. Rate: 3/10 * Black & Gold Molten Lava Bun: It looked interesting with a sweet, glittering liquid gold filling inside, but it wasn't as good as it looked. While the bun was soft, the filling fell short. Rate: 2/10 * Shrimp & Pork Shaomai: Just okay. We've had much better elsewhere. The outside wraps were dried out and chewy. Rate: 3/10 Would I come again or recommend anyone who happens to be nearby: No. Go somewhere else.
