Stopped by Beiing Café and had the salt and pepper chicken with chicken chow mein, seriously hit the spot. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and had a nice little kick from the jalapeños. The chow mein was just right, not greasy, plenty of noodles, and full of flavor. Big portions too. Everything came out hot and fresh, and you can tell they cook with care. Definitely one of my new go-to spots when I'm craving good, simple Chinese food done right.

Guys. I found this place on yelp. Let me tell you. I'm absolutely impressed. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken and hot and sour soup. Both came out piping hot and the flavors burst in my mouth. The soup had tons of flavorful pieces of all the goodness you'd expect in this soup. The other dish was cooked to perfection. Tender chicken and all dente veggies. Im coming back for sure. Great value for the dollar as well

Ambiance: This place is under new management. Nicely and simply interior. Food: I only ordered hot and sour soup. It was very good and hot to temperature. A good start. I need notice a very basic menu. No lunch specials, no house specials, or combinations. That seems the same from the previous owners. Hopefully, they will add those soon.

Food was great and portions were generous. Service was great too. The waiter was really kind and would check on us to ensure that we had a pleasant experience which I really appreciated! The interior decorations were so well-thought out as well.

The food was amazing! I'm in town for training and found this place on Yelp. The reviews did not disappoint. We ordered the Asparagus Beef, Sweet and Sour Pork, Hot and Sour Soup, the Potstickers and Cha Shu Bun (bbq pork). Everything was so delicious and made to order. The only bad thing I have to say is i live too far away to make this a regular spot for lunch/dinner. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home.

I was required to order to go because it was a half hour before closing time. I made another stop and then needed a half hour to drive home, so food was not in its best state by the time I ate it. I did reheat the Chinese Pancake in a toaster oven and steam the Xiaolongbao again at home. Xiaolongbao or XLB (a.k.a. Shanghai soup dumplings) $13.99 - You get 8 dumplings. They all looked deflated by the time I got home. Some dumplings had big holes in them. The meat juices or soup had leaked into the To Go box. I tried one dumpling, whose meat filling seemed too firm, so I decided to steam the XLB again. Dumplings revived a little and tasted better after re-steaming. One dumpling had gristle. Wrappers are thin enough, which is good. Flavor is there, but I am unsure about the filling's texture and ingredient quality. For me, soup dumplings are meant to be eaten immediately at the restaurant. Chinese Pancake $11.99 - The pancakes still seemed warm by the time I got home, so maybe I didn't need to reheat. The wrapper dough was too thick and doughy and overwhelmed the filling of chives, glass noodles, and diced pork bits. I wished for more filling. You get 2 pastries wrapped like empanadas. At $6 each, I think I am better off pan-frying frozen ones from 99 Ranch. Parking was easy and convenient with angled parking spots in front of the restaurant. I thought the server was very nice. When I asked if I had time to walk around the plaza, he was cute to tell me exactly how many minutes and seconds were left to steam my Xiaolongbao!

Plenty of parking at the back of the stores. Go left or right and it'll lead you to wide open spaces with plenty of slots. The place is small. Orders are taken and paid at the counter. Honey Walnut Shrimp. 4/5. Not the best I've had and has room for improvement. The walnuts were perfectly crunchy though. Chicken Curry Rice Plate. 5/5. Great taste, adequate ratio of meat, vegetables and spices. Only complaint was there was too much rice. Steamed Pork Buns. 3/5. Lacked the flavors I was expecting (Filipino Siopao) and found it too seasoned that I had to tone it down with hoisin sauce.

Me and my family were here to visit in this area and were looking for a good place to eat . I found this on google so thought it was worth a shot , the pictures looked bomb and they have a decent variety on the menu. We sat down and ordered, the man taking our order was nice but he had an earbud in his ear and kept mishearing what we said . My youngest son ordered salt and pepper wings and a cup of egg drop soup . We all received our food promptly but my son was left waiting for the duration of the entire meal. I was wondering why it would take so long just for the cup of soup and when I asked him he said he would bring it and never did at all. The wings came out when everybody was done eating at our table and they were not good ! They were so salty and sweet at the same time but not in a good way. It tasted like they poured a bunch of salt and sugar on the wings . The presentation of our food was beautiful , but the taste was not there . My orange chicken was extremely salty as well. I could barely eat it. I had to cut it with a lot of white rice. And the rest of the orders nobody liked either my entire family disliked it, and they are not picky eater so that says a lot. My husband will eat anything and likes just about anything and he did not like any of the food either. I spent almost $90 on this place and it was a total waste of money and my poor son basically didn't get to eat at all since his wings were terrible and got there at the last minute and he never got his soup. The man working really needs to take off his earbuds so that he can hear properly because when I went to order to go boxes, I asked for four boxes and then he responded with two and I said no, four , and he said oh OK and came back out with only two. He obviously is having a hard time hearing with the earbud in. And in case anyone is wondering why we would need to go boxes if the food was terrible, I gave the food away to homeless people in the area since there was such large portions left .

Omg. Wife and I got to-go on 1/1/23. This is easily the best Chinese food we've ever had. Service was excellent: fast and attentive. Food was incredible, and the presentation was mouth-watering. We got wontons, veggie dumplings, salt and pepper fish, house rice and chow mein, and orange chicken. All of it was perfect. read more

Food is not worth the price. I'm pregnant and have been craving Chinese food for the longest and was so excited to try the sweet and sour chicken over rice with potstickers. The food was very bland and flavorless. I'm so disappointed. The sweet and sour chicken was soggy and seems like the food was leftovers from the day before. I didn't even finish halfway through, I had to throw it out. I won't ever order here again and should not be an option on Uber eats or DoorDash. read more

The food and the portions are excellent. This is exactly what I want whenever I order I am not disappointed. However I do not like Styrofoam for takeout containers, especially since the hot food melts the bottom and I always get paranoid about my health. I would have given five stars if only they had better take out containers but I also know that that is typical for most restaurants. Next time I will bring my own Tupperware after I eat it there. read more

Been looking for a great chinese place in FO area since moving out here a few yrs ago, and finally we found it! We have literally been on a weekly beef chow fun binge this past two months. When I walked into this cafe earlier today I didn't know what to expect. Today I got their orange chicken with fried rice. The service was great, the fried rice was amazing, but their biggest star- the Orange Chicken, was honestly a let down. It tasted a bit.. soapy for some reason. The texture felt off too, it smelled amazing but it really caught me off guard once I bit into it. I expected this place to be 5/5 but it's a 3/5 for me. Maybe I just haven't gotten the good stuff yet so maybe some time in the future I'll go again to this place. In my opinion I'd rather go to Rice Express up in Folsom, they give you an egg roll and a little soup on the side as well for less money than here. read more

Went for takeaway during lunchtime on a Friday. Broccoli beef with rice: Bland with watery sauce, 2/3 of plate was rice that was old, dry and mostly inedible. Shrimp fried rice: Bland but mostly okay. Extra side of plum sauce was very watered down and cost an extra 50¢. Total for just these items was almost $30. How this establishment is rated 4.5 stars is a mystery. I feel charitable in giving it 2 stars. read more

We were visiting Sacramento from Newport Beach, California and I am willing to pay the owners $1,000 if they open a restaurant near where I live. This is the BEST Chinese food I've ever had. And trust me I love Asian food, I eat at small restaurants and big chains like pick up Stix and Panda Express and this beats them by ten fold. They put so much more food than I expected (which is a bonus) and my taste buds just can't get enough! HIGHLY RECOMMEND going here if you're in the Sacramento area. I would give it 6/5 if I could. Now I know where I'm getting every meal if I visit Sacramento again :)) read more

This place is a local family owned restaurant with great customer service. Andy takes care of us all the time with a smile on his face. My favorites is the War Won Ton Soup and the Mongolian Beef over fried rice. I also recommend the curry chicken. The restaurant is clean and food is amazing. Must check it out. read more

Food is just ok. Main reason I won't go back or recommend is the waitress. Not very friendly and practically slamming our food on the table. I felt uncomfortable during the entire meal and couldn't wait to leave. Much rather go to Hoicin. Food is great, much cheaper and generous servings. Staff was super nice. read more

I placed an order online through yelp. I ordered the wonton soup and personally thought it was okay. The soup was lacking a little bit of something for my taste. When I went to pick up my order I asked if they had any chili or condiments and the lady was kind of mean. She was like "you didnt ask for any?!" but I was asking when I came to pick up my order?.. I was like "it's fine. nevermind" and just left. The soup was okay. I'll try something else next time. read more

Had my food delivered. Did not have to wait long. Had pot stickers, General Chicken, and a side of steamed rice. The portions are generous. Pot stickers are meaty, chewy, and flavorful. Not sure about the sweet dipping sauce. Would've preferred something savory or salty. The General Chicken was sweet and spicy. Just the right amount of spice. Big chunks of meat. Goes really well with the streamed rice. Definitely need to try other items. Did not disappoint. read more

There combination fried rice is good. My sister agrees with other food she ordered like beef broccoli. My question is do you use msg or not. Your menu doesn't indicate that as other Chinese restaurants do. Don't you know too that there are people that are sensitive with lots of msg in food and they could feel that in their system. Although in Asian cooking, there are food preparations that has msg in their frozen food. So please don't put msg anymore when cooking my orders. Their fried calamari is not that good. The lady was nice but I don't know if she's really telling truth that they don't put MSG. Good fried rice but I could feel msg on it. read more

This visit, we decided to try Pineapple Seafood Fried Rice (with only shrimp), Sesame Chicken, Pot Stickers, and our favorite Chicken Chow Mein. The Pineapple Rice was a bit bland in taste... Not much flavor or much pineapple, but the shrimp was plentiful. I am a pot sticker snob, and these were not to flavorful either. Don't see how the food we had there yesterday could have been any better and can't wait to go back and try the dumplings. Was concerned when they said it was under new management but the house chicken and rice dish and the beef chow fun were both great. I find the recent one star ratings to be very suspicious and would certainly not let them dissuade you from trying it. It's a small place, conveniently located, good parking. We really liked it and all the food we saw served there yesterday looked terrific. read more

This Restaurant is a Family favorite! Their food is so delicious and the customer service is on point! My girlfriend and I were craving Chinese food and came here to try it out. Was greeted with great customer service. Food only took about 10-15 minutes. We ordered the Honey Walnut shrimp (would recommend) and the curry chicken (also really good). House Chow Mein was good. Cheese wonton appetizer is an instant favorite. We approached from the back and at first thought it was not open any more, then realized we needed to go around to the front. Fried rice was so good my husband ordered a second plate. Add the Garlic Green Beans and some Szechuan Shrimp - delicious meal and we'll be happy to have leftovers. We will definitely be back. read more

I don't understand the 4 star here. We had Szechuan shrimp and Mongolian beef which had no flavor at all. They gave large portion but what's the point.. Thought we were doing a good deed by calling the restaurant about it but the lady said we probably ordered "light". Lol read more

Hmmm I don't get the 4.5 stars ... the food was edible but seems to be seasoned wrong ? I grew up on Chinese food and this isn't very authentic. The hot and sour soup was way too sweet. Shrimp was wonky and Kung pao chicken didn't taste like any Kung pao I've had. I hate to say it but I can make a better version of most of the items I ordered :/ read more

I am so happy that they decided to open again for take out so I could finally try this place! They are currently taking phone orders and they are in the process of setting up their online system. It was a little hard to hear them on the phone but we managed. The service was very quick (ready in 15min) and they were so friendly when I arrived to pick up my order. They even offered me a free drink! My family ordered chicken chow mein, sesame chicken, honey walnut shrimp, egg rolls, and pot stickers. The first three were great! Would not change a thing. The egg rolls were okay. The potstickers were good. I just wish they had been a tiny bit crispier on the bottom, but would definitely order them again. All in all, my family was pleased with how everything tasted and the amount of food was generous. We will definitely be enjoying leftovers and plan to order here again! read more

The prices are reasonable and the value is good. It's a small restaurant, down to earth. The food is tasty. Loved the fried chow fun with beef and made very spicy. Tried hot and sour soup the second time and that was good as well. They do remember you if you come back a second time and the server went out of his way to offer me a hotter sauce to try dipping the beef and onion dumplings in the second time. Also, when I didn't want the crab meat in my hot and sour soup, they nicely added it to my husband's wor wonton soup in addition to the shrimp! Very nice of them. read more

Good friendly people and good quality Chinese food for decent price. I ordered Spicy Tofu and Vegetable and an order of chicken fried Rice. Only problem I had was that they put a saucy food on top of fried rice.. so my fried rice got covered with sauce on a way to hotel. I wished they put the tofu at the bottom. They probably should Invest on better to go containers for to go? BECAUSE The Quality of food is amazing and I don't mind pay extra for it. I talked to the cashier lady and she recommended me Tofu and fish dish. I will come back for it for sure. read more

I could hear the torch being applied for several seconds, and when the plate arrived the rice was literally blackened and crunchy from being burned. The albacore on top was stiff and overcooked, the sauce was excessive, and the shrimp tempura inside was soggy. Every component was mishandled -- from ingredient freshness to execution -- and after two bites I felt sick and could not continue eating it. I considered asking for a replacement, but the chef left the restaurant immediately after serving the dish. The server was polite and understanding when I explained I couldn't eat the food, and I left without ordering anything else. I have given this restaurant multiple chances and this was the final one. With several other sushi restaurants nearby, I strongly recommend choosing elsewhere.

My experience at Beijing Beef left a bitter taste in my mouth, both figuratively and literally. Upon entering the restaurant, the ambiance was less than inviting, with dim lighting and a stale odor lingering in the air. The staff's demeanor was off-putting, as they seemed more focused on pressuring patrons into tipping generously rather than providing quality service. Throughout the meal, a lady, presumably a server, cast judgmental glances our way, making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Her remarks about our portion sizes, insinuating that we ate too much, only added to the discomfort. The food itself was a disappointment, lacking in flavor and freshness, further solidifying my opinion that this establishment was far from satisfactory. In the end, leaving the restaurant, I couldn't shake the feeling of being unfairly judged and disrespected, vowing never to return to such a garbage and disgusting dining establishment. read more
