The pineapple chicken fried rice is so good! It's got tons of chicken and a good amount of pineapple. It's also a huge portion. I can have it for leftover lunch AND dinner the next day if I don't overstuff my face the night I get it. Also, huge props to a place that can make fried rice egg free! It's so so delicious. Their crab rangoons are huge. Most places put like a teaspoon of filling - not these! They're stuffed. Egg rolls are always hot and crispy too. They always deliver our food really fast. This place is awesome! VERY clean, fast, and friendly! I always get the beef lo mein....very delicious! If you like fresh veggies, you'll love this place! Decided to try a new place and the reviews were pretty good so I ordered via grubhub. Prices were okay. Delivery was fast and food was still hot when it arrived. The crab rangoons were crunchy but sweet, the egg drop soup was flavorless, the crispy noodles were old, and the sesame chicken was stringy with too much breading and only 2 small pieces of broccoli. The food isn't bad, BUT, DO NOT even think of substitutes for anything! If they are busy they won't even substitute using tofu rather than chicken or beef. The American girl on the phone has been the worst too. I don't know how long she's been there but I've always got an attitude from her from the start. After surgery I was limited in my diet so I chose wonton soup. Expecting a light chicken broth and some wontons, when I opened the container I was disappointed from first sight. Beijing Expresses never disappoints! My regular is the Fried Shrimp w/ Spicy Red Sauce. It's incredibly yummy and flavorful, as well is the rice and egg rolls! My fiancé often gets beef lo mein which is also flavorful! At dinner it's about the same price for two as a place like Panda Express, but Beijing Express tastes better, is higher quality, and you get an egg roll as well. At lunch it's the same portions but around $15 for two people! Second best Chinese food in the area in my opinion, the staff is also fast and nice and te food is just great, have gone multiple times and I'm sure we will in the future. read more

You'll find the the typical Americanized Chinese fair on this neighborhood Chinese eatery's menu. (Yes I have a penchant for asian cuisine, be it Korean, Japanese, Thai, Chinese or Vietnamese.) You'll find the sweet and sours, kung paos, and sesames with options for curry and even vermicelli bowls. I had the General Tso's chicken with steamed rice to satisfy my appetite today. It was served steaming hot but I thought the spice could've been kicked up a notch as it goes with most of these kinds of places. I would say this is a notch better than Panda Express but if you're a Chinese Food snob you'll want to search else where. Going to start this review by saying we're industry people( pretty recognizable consistent places-!Houston's ( Bartlett's here), Cheesecake Factory, Grand Luxe Cafe, Fox Restaurant's (North, True Food,Culinary Drop Out, Flower Child) etc/, so we are harder to please than most. We just like good food, prepared well! Doesn't have to be a fancy place/ just had to be good! This place is not fine in friendly to me... you can but it just isn't very comfortable of a place in my opinion. Chairs are functional/ it's very clean & all. If course it might be that they don't serve alcohol! We order online because it is easier / trust me & pick up ourselves* I think there is a small discount doing it this way. You pay for it online too. We have called in & it was odd/ they wanted payment - I was driving had to pull over get card out- wasn't expecting to do that turns out they thought I was the delivery service they use- lol. Another time we called they left us on hold, hung up. their Crab Rangoon - is the only take place my hubby has actually liked! Really nice/ their crunchy spring rolls are good They serve large portions. We love their Moo Shu pork/ if you order extra rice pancake wrappers the charge extra/ 50 cents each - they will call you to make sure you know it's extra. kind of funny - but having made my own rice paper pancakes/ they are a pain to make-The Mongolian beef is good but they use white onions &'not scallion- if you order it spicy/ it will really be spicy, the Sichuan Chicken is awesome, the Beef Lomein was delicious nice big portion, General Tso's chicken not too sweet not too spicy. I went to this facility cus it's by my new apartment. I love express food places and figured I'd give it a try. I walk in, with it being pretty busy, and no one acknowledges me for a good minute. Then the young girl ask me if I had an online order , which I said yes. I only used ordered online because I had a coupon from them for a free egg roll. So I'm going to check out , and it doesn't let me put a promo code , so it says I owed $2 for the egg roll. Well that's doesn't make sense , when it's suppose to be free. So obviously it's an issue on the website , because it makes you pay for the egg roll when the coupon says it's free, nor does it let you pay with cash , it's card only. So I took the egg roll off the order, and brought it with me to show I wasn't lying about the coupon. The girl rolls her eyes as if she's annoyed , cus I'm sure this has happened before , walks in the back to say something , then comes back and is like "oh you were suppose to put it in the note." Oh ok because it says that on the coupon, which it doesn't cus I read the whole thing. She then walks away for a second , then comes back and is like ,"oh you wanted it now?" YEA!! Seriously ?? That was the whole point of me ordering from you guys. They are trying to take propels money by making you pay for it when it's suppose to be free. I waited 15 more minutes for 1 nasty egg roll. We've been eating here since it opened on 2009 and have enjoyed every meal. They have the typical chinese menu with everything made to order, when you order it. The entrees have always been quite good - from sesame chicken, beef broccoli, etc... it's all been enjoyable. The crab rangoons are fantastic in my opinion. The fried rice is a little bland to me but it is definitely survivable. My wife and I have been craving and eating the chicken vermicelli bowl often lately - it's simple but flavored very well. We like having a Chinese option so close to the neighborhood for a quick meal in the evenings, either there or to pick up and take home. It's definitely worth a shot if you live in the area... the food isn't spectacular but it's affordable and close (for us). read more

Came in from Chicago visiting for the Holidays. Ordered the Shrimp egg foo young. I thought when I chewed it I was eating a rubber ball. The batter tasted like powdered egg mix with water. Did not taste the shrimp because of it. The sweet and sour chicken the batter tasted the same way mixed with water. The vegetables tasted watered down. Can't taste the chicken because of it. The crab rangoon tasted the same the batter mixed with water. The chicken lomein was very tasty and good but had little or no chicken. In Chicago area we have mo's Chinese kitchen in Tinley Park illinois in the south suburbs. Big fan of their pan fried noodles. I don't really venture out once I find something I like and pan fried noodles happened to be the first thing I tried and loved so I can't really review on the rest of the menu. I live near this place but always went to Hunan Lion out of habit. My wife tried a different location so I gave the location in RR a shot. The food was really good and definitely better than Hunan Lion. The food was freshly prepared, packaged well and delicious. My new go to place for Chinese food when I am at home. It is a little more expensive than Hunan Lion though which surprised me given the location and relatively tiny restaurant size. read more

My sister and I ordered carry out for the first time from this restaurant on March 7, 2018. We ordered the dinner combo for 2...chicken with garlic sauce and chicken with vegetable. Both dishes were delicious! The food was hot when it arrived and tasted fresh. The large pieces of chicken in both dishes was tender and the veggies crispy. The combo included an egg roll and soup. I did not care for The sweet and sour soup but I loved the veggie egg roll! It was really light and tasty...not greasy and heavy like some egg rolls. The delivery guy was kind and friendly. Wrote my original review 2 years ago. Since I've been a regular, i even got some of my coworkers hooked on this place. Today I'm editing my review based on the last few visits. Few weeks ago we ordered for the office we had a huge order and 1/2 of it was wrong. We've done this before and never had a problem. But OK everyone has an off day. However, we noticed the portions were small and the food it wasn't so great. I've love this place for two years so I'll give it another chance. Well we had lunch there just last week and 3 out of 4 people on my table found the food questionable. The 4th plate kung pao chicken; had so much salt after 2 bites it was impossible to continue eating. We asked if it could be fixed and with a bad attitude the food was taken back only to be brought back exactly the same. I told the only employee there was no way- we could not eat this food and her response was "This is the way we cook". She insisted I take it with me if i couldn't eat it. After arguing with me about what to do with the food she finally offered to replace it with 2 egg rolls. She expected me to pay the cost of the FULL meal $10.50 in exchange for 2 egg rolls. I asked to speak to a manager and she finally said "ok so what do you want" my response was "Something i can eat." She suggested fried rice - no meat. My meal had chicken so i countered with how about chicken fried rice. She said Fine and walked away. Few minutes later i got chicken fried rice in a to go container. It was Ok, not sure i will be back. Which is a shame because i really did use to like this place. ORIGINAL: 2016 (5-stars) Best hot and sour soup Ever! Everything is sooo good. They serve good size portions, are quick too so for lunch it's an ideal place to go. The food seems to always be fresh. I've been 2-3 times now and I will be coming back.
