After 4yrs of service from Maria "Yoly" at Bella America Salon, I decided I was ready for partial highlights. I grew out my hair to 16" all around and wanted a u-cut with sweeping layers, shorter near the front like overgrown curtain bangs. I have 2c dark brown hair with warm undertones, and asked for copper-colored partials and that cut. I showed 3-5 pictures. I asked questions when I had doubts, but I trusted her process. The final-look in the mirror was probably how Christina Aguilera felt looking back on her 2000's look. Cute, but not anymore. I left the salon holding back tears, money out of pocket, looking like a Yuh-Go-Yoh character. It was skunk-ish. I could not find a way to style my hair for all of the next day and today in which the partials looked acceptable. No, and upon calling the salon and going back, I was met with even greater unprofessionalism from Marin and Yoly. I'm thankful to have been on a phone call with my friend, who recorded the conversation when it became clear they would not honor their word over the phone. They pulled out all the stops, going as far as to insult me and make other accusations in Spanish while speaking to me in English, knowing we all 3 understand both. They tried to convince me to let Yoly try again to fix it. I'm not comfortable with that, especially after she just insulted me. Then Marin pulled out a contract and said he needed my signature if I wanted any return for the service; it was a liability waiver, not a refund. I signed a handwritten note on copy paper from Marin disclosing the refund instead, which they kept. Over 20min later I left, and never want to go back. read more

The reception on my second visit to Bella's was lukewarm. After arriving to my appointment, to my dismay, the stylist Yoli, was overrun with another client. After waiting for a little while, I suggested to the staff that I would return at another time as to not pressure them. Eventually, I was able to be seated by Yoli, who seemed very annoyed at being rushed. She gave me a fantastic cut, despite everything. The pricing was very fair. I knocked off one star because of her chilly reception, but hopefully I will come back and catch them on a better day. read more

Everyone was wearing masks it was clean.The guy who did my hair was nice. he cut to much of my hair length when I told him I wanted my hair the same length as I had it b4 I came in! he was just chopping at my hair and had no Technique. When I got home I straitened my hair and I noticed how bad my hair really was he didnt blend in my layers all you saw was blunt lines in my hair it was horrible very disappointing!! Now I have to cut at least 5 inches of hair so it won't look like someone chopped at my hair!! read more

First of all I was so hesitant to come in this place. My wife called me and asked if I want to try here to do my haircut. I've been going to LA to do my haircut since we moved out here in Palmdale. Marin is the one who cut my hair and his really really good. He gave me a lot of tips how to take care my hair. He told me to use daily shampoo and not the dandruff shampoo. He even told me not to used my nail to scratch my scalp due to that will damage my hair. Thanks Marin! I'll highly recommend those place. I'll be back soon! read more

I accompanied my son to get a haircut and decided to get one too. Marin did a fantastic job with him. Very courteous and professional. He gets compliments all the time on his hair. Marin also gave him a shave. My son recommends this place. The lady that cut my hair was Irma. I've never had my haircut done with a razor, she explained how my layers would blend in better and give me volume. She also showed me how to dry my hair for better volume since my hair is so thin. The young lady at the register was very courteous too. The salon is a beauty supply too and she helped me pick out hair dye to match my current hair color. The price for haircuts are very reasonable. All I asked for was a simple low taper and for him to trim a LITTLE BIT off the top of my head, Marin (the owner) decides to take it upon himself to listen but add his own twist to it and give me a full hair makeover when I never asked for one. Absolutely never coming back considering I thought $15 was a deal, just figured out it's better to pay for the service of the barber than the actual haircut. read more

Went in for a 2 inch haircut (and even showed the female hairdresser a picture of what I wanted) and I left there butchered. About 5 inches was taken off the length. It doesn't resemble the picture I showed her AT ALL!!! And now I have to go to a wedding with this mess on my head because it's too short to fix!!!! I said TWO inches off my length and layer the rest. I trusted from the picture she could have come close. She takes a few chops then asks if "it ok"? Too late at that point. That's what I get when I wait last minute and I have a hairdresser who doesn't understand or speak English. And btw make sure you clean your area before bringing in the next customer. I didn't appreciate seeing other people hairs all over the counter. Disgusting. read more

I've been going to this salon for years! I have Gabby cut my hair.That girl does the best job that I've ever had done,and the prices are affordable. I use to go to very fancy salons and the pricing of what I would get done would be over $100! At Bella America I pay barely a fraction, and get 10 times better salon services! Marin is the best at massage! I have been looking for awhile and trying massage therapists and haven't found a good one. He has a good price and explains everything and really cares about how to help people. I have gone to him a couple times and even called late one day and was hurting and asked if he could fit me in. He said he could do 30 minutes, so I went and it really helped me out. I will be a loyal customer from now on. read more

This salon is awesome! It is the only salon my sister and I go to for our hair. I am very picky about my hair and I've been going to this same place for about 2 years. I refuse to go anywhere else. The staff is very friendly and always welcoming. The most important part is they do a great job on my hair. I usually go to Gabby, she takes her time and makes sure she does it right. i have to say that i have been coming here for awhile and i have to say that when the opened they had the best stylist there.i was a big fan of my stylist lucy she was so great and great personality now they got rude staff thats only interested in talking and manytimes with bad attitude to be honest i would love if the old stylist came back i loved lucy and carla they where great they were very artistic and always had great attitude now the staff seems to care to only rush to get more clients done quickly.me and my family still go there cuz we are aFRAID TO TRY OTHERS SALONS.but i hate it when i go and they rush through my sons haircut and when i get home he showers and theres little hair sticking up.they have great products onsale all the time and good brands also they use good brands of products,and at better price than the mall.will give them 3 stars for their productz but if they had negative starts i woud give them -2 cuz of bad attitude and rushing through clients read more
