We had a party of 7, and the hostess told us we would have to wait till another party was done before we could ne seated, but when I went inside, there were plenty of larger tables open that could accommodate us. I brought this point to someone else, and she was super kind, seemingly surprised, and seated us right away. But all in all, I actually really enjoyed my food. The French dip sandwich was far more delicious than I thought it would be, and the Sicilian pizza is pretty solid too. So I was pleasantly surprised. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast this morning at Bella Bru. I've been a fan of their other location for years and this one did not disappoint. Bella Bru in Natomas has provided many wonderful memories for me for years. I discovered this restaurant when my youngest son entered the 7th grade and he will turn 30 in November. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, dinner or Happy Hour this restaurant has not disappointed me at all. Today, I had lunch with a dear friend on the patio and it was a delightful experience again! Fantastic brunch spot! Came here for brunch with coworkers on a weekday and enjoyed everything about the experience. Service was friendly, attentive and prompt. I had the vegetable quiche, one of my coworkers the French Toast. My quiche had fluffy texture, and the vegetables inside had a lovely hint of sweet taste. Just got back from going to Bella Bru in Natomas. It is a great place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have an outside patio, great selection of food and drinks, daily specials, a great bakery and a bar. They have great food. My favorites their French Dip Sandwich, their Tuna Melt, their enchiladas with Tri Tip steak. Had that today and it was to die for. Also their desserts are the best. Our table tried a slice of Cherry Pie, slice of Key Lime Pie and a slice of Banana Cream Pie with a great cup of coffee. Each of the pies were excellent almost heavenly. A good server would usually apologize but not this one. I was so annoyed when he came to take my drink order that I didn't even want to look at him. I guess it was obvious that I was annoyed because he handed our table over to another server. Mason was our new server. When my girlfriend arrived, I told her about what had happened. While talking, another customer sat and she had the same server, I had initially. She waited a LONG time as well and after waiting for a long amount of time, she ended up having to be switched to Mason too. After talking to her, she is a regular, and I told her about my experience and she tells us that the first initial server isn't that attentive or friendly. She said we're better off with Mason. Back in the day when I lived in Natomas, I didn't like Bella Bru Cafe. After a decade BBC has either evolved into a better spot or I have grown easy to please...which is highly doubtful LOL. I popped in for brunch today with a friend and had a pleasant experience. I ordered the country fried steak and eggs along with an Irish Coffee. The coffee was pretty darn strong but good. My breakfast was tasty, nothing special but it seemed to be home made instead of pre-made frozen food. We had a great lunch here with the family on a Sunday afternoon after checking out the antique fair nearby. We had to wait for about 30 minutes & the 2 tables we ended up at had been available & empty for most of the time we waited. That was the only annoying thing about this experience. First time here for breakfast was pretty good... normal American breakfast.. nothing too special... but I was full... The waitress had great recommendations, but when I got my food my eggs and english muffin were so cold they were inedible. Stopped by for the first time to have lunch. The atmosphere was great as it was family friendly and a perfect meeting spot for business. The coffee was delicious we also ordered a caramel macchiato which wasn't too sweet and just right. We ordered the shrimp tacos which had a great sauce, not fishy and perfect combo with the slice of avocado! There were multiple errors to a single order (which was not complicated) in our party which set our experience a side from that of others. I have lived in Natomas for quite some time and have drove passed this establishment several times. Not once had it ever occurred to me to try the food here. With that being said, my husband and I wanted to try it out since neither one of us has ever been and we wanted to go somewhere local. The salmon burger was delicious you have the option of fries or a salad as your side. I chose the salad and was very pleased the dressing is their champagne vinaigrette. It did not disappoint. I enjoyed the dressing so much I asked if I could buy a 1/2 pint to go. The waitress charged $5 additional for the vinaigrette which I thought was kind of pricey for the little size. Overall, service was good the food was good as well and the atmosphere was lovely. Nice restaurant that can get really busy on the weekends for breakfast and brunch. My all time favorite thing to do is go grab brunch with my family or friends!
