This location is just as good as the City Centre/Town & Country one. I usually get the margherita pizza but this time got the Dale's pizza (bacon, ham, basil, creme fraiche, and cheese). My friend got the grilled chicken sandwich and said the meat wasn't salty enough. That might have to do with her taking out the bacon...and other stuff but whatever, she's a picky eater so I can't validate what she says about food most of the time. The pizza was great. I love their crust here - nice and airy and crisp, not overly doughy. It's also big enough to share and be full afterwards. The service was great as usual and the restaurant clean and with ample seating - much more than the City Centre location. There's also a parking lot so you don't have to meter park or go find a garage. Also download the app for free dessert! Totally worth! I wasn't sure what to expect of this place and after a little difficulty figuring out where to park I ended up pleasently suprsied with my experience. I had a pizza which is plenty big to share and therefore not a bad price at $15. It was full of tasting toppings and cooked just right for a thinner but not crispy crust. Sitting on the patio is nice as well, good ambiance. However, the place filled up on a weeknight which suggests that going here on the weekend might be frustrating. It's not soo "green" that it scared me away, so I bet that most people will find something to enjoy here. read more

Manager Aziza is completely unprofessional and immature. We ordered a burger medium rare and it was cooked well, so I walked back inside with the plate and asked her to take it off of the check because we had a toddler with us and didn't have time to wait another 20 minutes for food. She was suddenly silent and would not respond when I asked "so you need my card?" I walked back with my card to a snotty glare. When I sat back down to have my food that I was now sharing with my partner it was soggy and bland (it had probably been sitting in the window while they cooked our burger well done). She came back with the check and I told her this was unacceptable as well. She refused to apologize, ask why, or even be civil but instead was silent. I told her to just take the sandwich off too, so she stormed off again. I am shocked I had to ask for any refund to begin with. The only person that enjoyed their meal was our son, but a kitchen cannot continuously put out food that is soggy, overcooked and flavorless and be paired with a rude, unprofessional manager. I can't be the first person to notice that this manager needs to be replaced - she has the attitude of a 15 year old that was grounded for mouthing off!! When I asked the busser if Aziza was the manager he nodded yes, so I asked him if other customers complain about her attitude and he gave me a knowing look. That sorta broke my heart a little. I hope he and the other employees aren't subjected to her awful behavior as well. That kind of work environment doesn't make anyone happy to be there. I'll spare you the other details that missed the mark because they're little things that happen in lots of counter service places and they're understandable. However, after serving at high end fine dining restaurants for 15 years I have seen quite a bit in the manager-with-misdirected-anger category. This was off the charts: customers at tables nearby saying they were in awe of her behavior under their breath? I understand it was the Monday night dinner rush (let's be realistic though), but a manager on the verge of snapping at a customer because of food issues is a liability. read more

The food is decent, but overpriced for what it's worth. Some dishes that I've tried: - The Atlantic Salmon Salad: 3/5, decent, overall fresh, but nothing extraordinary. Your typical slab of fish on a bed of greens. - Ruggles green goat cheese Salad: 3/5, same comment as the Atlantic Salmon Salad. Fresh, with a healthy portion of goat cheese, but without any amazing flavors. - Turkey Buger: 2/5, dry, bland, on a similarly dry bun. Could have definitely done better elsewhere - Crab and shrimp pasta: 2/5, a bit salty and greasy, - Margharita pizza: 3/5, good flavor, would recommend. Parking is a nightmare. While they have their own private lot inside the parking garage, the actual number of parking spots is very limited. I'm a fan, mainly because they have an affordable wine menu. You can get a bottle of wine for as low as $16! It totally beats getting a glass of wine or beer there. Also the fish and shrimp tacos are really good and it's a good size portion. They come with 4 mini tacos. Definitely a good place to get a casual lunch. I have been to Ruggles Green numerous times. I have always been pleased with their menu and offerings. This location is new and honestly, it's feels more welcoming than their old location. It's more open and feels like a breath of fresh air. (They even have the words "fresh" on their wall) I got the Blackened Shrimp Salad and White Chocolate Bread Pudding for lunch this time. It was perfect! The shrimp was huge and succulent. The spring mix tasted fresh instead of days old, the strawberries were sweet and the dressing was not overwhelming. I would recommend this light salad for everyone looking for something to compliment this hot Houston weather. Their bread pudding.. I am speechless. It's clear why it's an award winning dessert. It's so creamy and comes out hot and so tasty. It melts in your mouth but it's not too mushy. I would say to try this dish as your first time. Then I would try their red velvet cake for the next time. The staff is very friendly. You just have to order at the register and they will take care of the rest! Only downside is the parking. I had high hopes for Bellagreen when I found a restaurant that had a variety of gluten free options. It was our first time to visit and the atmosphere was super cute. My coworker ordered a pasta dish and received it very quickly, she waited for a while but I told her to eat while it was hot. I also ordered a pasta dish so I didn't think it would be much longer. Sadly after she had finished and over 30 minutes after ordering I still had not received my meal. I went and asked if it was almost done which I was reassured it was and about 5 minutes later was asked if I had ordered the meal my coworker had already completed. I said no and corrected the gentlemen realizing at that point my meal was never even started. There were 4 other tables of people who had come in after us and all received their food and were finishing before I ever got mine. I finally went and told them to box it to-go so I could just leave. I barely received a sorry as he walked away from bringing my to-go bag. Things happen but the way a business handles it is what is important. This was terrible customer service and no acknowledgement on their end that they did anything wrong. We definitely won't be back just because we obviously were not seen as valued customers. I gave it two stars versus one because the food I eventually got to eat when I made it to my hotel was good. I just wish I could have had the chance to enjoy conversation and a meal with a coworker instead of watching her eat. read more

This is my favorite place all over houston. I've been coming for years, since it was Ruggles Green. The food is amazing, I have tried most of the items here and no plate has disappointed me. I have brought friends and family many times to make them try it. Today I am writing this review to qualify the service of specifically the cashier who made our meal a disaster. It was me and my family (6 people in total). I arrived to the cashier to order our food. I was totally ignored, even if the cashier was right in front of me. I have to say "hello" just to receive a bad look and a "hi" back. I asked, "can we order?" Once again he replies basically rolling his eyes and looking at me like - what a stupid question- telling me: "of course..." I order 6 plates in total, and I order 6 glasses of water. Bad looks from his side during the entire process of ordering. He did not double check the order, I just paid and I went to my table. Food arrives for 4 of us. 10 minutes pass and I go to ask for the other two plates. I had to speak with the same cashier and I tell him we were waiting for 2 more plates. Bad looks again, he checked the order and he tells me he just put 1 salmon instead of three. He looks at me like : what do you want me to do and he tells me: "So, we do it?" I reply, of course, two members of my family don't have food. Then I pay the remaining plates and at this point I ask for his name. He gets close to me with a challenging attitude telling me these exact words "you may call me Kevin." I go back to my table and the 2 remaining plates arrive. I wanted to double check the name of the person and I asked to another member of the staff about the name of the cashier, I give his description and the member of the staff tells me his name is Daniel (he lied to me about his real name). I love this place and I am really disappointed about this visit, not sure when will I be back after this experience. Just a heads up to the manager to be careful with his/her people. If you order DoorDash catering and leave a tip, the restaurant pockets it. Our DoorDash group has had several posts about this happening at Bellagreen lately, and when we contacted EzCater, the company that helps them cater, they told us they are allowed to "make the decision as to how that tip is allocated". Be aware!! Edit: they have responded that they use your tip to tip share their workers instead of the DD driver. I work as a server and to-go, and we don't get tipped on DoorDash orders, because they weren't intended for us. We get over it. That's wrong of you and you should make a note on your DoorDash page that customer tips will be pocketed by you. read more

This is one of my favorite spots in Houston! Healthy yet delicious food and the menu contains a wide variety of items. I've probably been here about 10 times now and never have been disappointed! The restaurant is fast casual style, and the food generally comes out quickly. My personal favorite items are the protein hempanadas, the shrimp tacos, the goat cheese salad, and the blackened shrimp salad. (You only get five pieces of shrimp, but that's typical of almost every restaurant the serves salad w/ shrimp) The dish is made with mixed greens, arugula, sun-dried tomatoes, sliced apples, parmesan cheese; tossed with creamy sun-dried tomato vinaigrette with almond crusted goat cheese medallion. I like my salads to be cut up in small, bite sized pieces, and to not be overwhelmed with dressing. That's what I got here. There was a generous serving of goat cheese and the vinaigrette to greens ratio was just right. The apple was also sliced up into tiny pieces (other restaurants give me these huge pieces of apple and I'm always struggling to get a little bit of it in every bite). I didn't even finish my salad because they served me so much of it, what a deal! My husband ordered the margherita pizza and he did not like it all. He said there was too much cheese and tomato sauce for it to be truly a margherita pizza. I didn't taste it but the man's obsessed with margherita pizza so I'd believe him. After trying Ruggles' honey crusted goat cheese salad we went ahead and tossed out the plans for our next lunch and came right back to Ruggles for another round. They have a fantastic selection of gluten free pasta, the mac n cheese and spicy chicken pasta are both full of flavor as well as loads of gluten free sweet options! My hubby has ordered some sandwiches before and they were full and tasty! I ordered delivery twice before eventually going in for brunch one day. I must say, the Mac and cheese prepared fresh in restaurant was much more tastier than the delivery and it was still nice delivered but what can you really expect with it being gluten free. The service was polite and prompt. The actual restaurant is cute with a homely feel and it is self service. For me bellagreen is my go to "cheat meal" as when I do want some tasty carbs my go to is always pasta, fries and cake!! Bellagreen do all three and gluten free!! I really love this place. I get the cheese steak panini. It has great bread and lots of grilled veggies and huge mushrooms. The meat has good flavor and the sauce it's cooked in is pretty good too, almost like an asian tasting sauce. I also get the sweet potato fries. They're more like a guilty pleasure since they're pretty salty and taste amazing with ketchup, you could eat them forever. The crowds here are never too bad the times I went and the service is really nice. I also like their togo boxes, they're not styrofoam or plastic, but more of a earth friendly material. This is an excellent place for gluten-free foodies. All plates come with a little card stating that it was made gluten-free which is nice for those like me who have been sabotaged accidentally by unknowing servers and staff. I love the salads since they are extremely fresh and unique. The combinations of different flavors are a lot more exciting than salads elsewhere and I leave full since it is a nice amount. This particular time I got the honey fried goat cheese arugula and had salmon put on top. I normally eat a lot but the nice size of the goat cheese medallion would have left me satisfied even without the salmon. It was wonderful to have something fried and it still be gluten free! My husband got the gluten free pepperoni pizza. He liked it better than other places we've visited in the area. It was a good amount of cheese and the fresh basil on top was perfect and a personal fav of mine. Bonus: This location has a very nice outdoor patio that was very cozy. read more

The food was ok but the problem I had was the pesto sauce for my pizza. They put pecans in their pesto sauce and it didn't say it on the menu . I'm highly allergic to nuts and if they hadn't have gave me Benadryl I probably would have went into anaphylactic shock!! That was very unacceptable but they handled it extremely well and were genuinely sorry but I don't think I'll try this place again. Everything needs to be listed when it comes to people's allergies.
