    TURKEY LETTUCE WRAPS [GF][DF]
    Requel P.

I visited for a chill lunch and got their Turkey lettuce wraps with sweet potato fries. It came with 3 wraps and a sweet chili sauce. They were really delicious and fresh! The sweet potato fries were delicious too. The restaurant is located underneath an apartment complex and their parking is underneath in the garage. Plenty of seating inside and outside on their lovely patio. Great customer service too.

I really like Bellagreen for the most part! Their menu feels healthy without being bland. I've liked pretty much everything I've ever ordered and especially love their pizzas, particularly the pepperoni and fig and pig. You can often see them hand making the dough near the counter area when you place your order. The counter service is fine, but the managers (I believe) have always been extra friendly and helpful, checking in to make sure your meal is going well. Their menu has something for everyone and they typically have some additional seasonal items depending on the time of year. The only downside I've experienced is with some pick up orders. I live *very* close, aka just taking an elevator down to pick up my food, and I once received breakfast tacos that were already cold and were so sparsely filled that I condensed them into two tacos instead of the three it comes with. Their mobile app could also use a lot of work but that's just me being picky! Overall I think this is a great spot with convenient parking which is always a win in Houston!

Came here with a group of friends and the food is so fresh and tasty and nutritious, I can't believe it's a chain. I like that there's more than just salad as options. So much seating and wasn't very busy when we went. Definitely want to try their dessert

I ordered to go on a weekday late night so it wasn't crowded. I did get confused with parking with a lot next door since it was dark outside which isn't for their customers. There is a connected parking lot inside the building. I do wish there was better lighting outside the restaurant because it looked closed from the outside view. The employee greeted me & my order was prepared in a timely manner. I got the roasted butternut squash & brussel sprouts bowl without the wild rice & added grilled chicken & the hi-protein hempenadas. Everything tasted delicious & fresh. I really liked the cilantro & chipotle sauces with the empanadas! Next time, I would definitely like to dine at the restaurant & try other items!

Bellagreen never disappoints! The portions are ginormous -- come hungry! I had the grilled tofu salad, which was vibrant, fresh, and packed with flavor. We finished with the bread pudding, served warm and absolutely amazing -- soft, gooey, and comforting in all the right ways. A great spot for a wholesome meal with a sweet finish! Nice weeknight meal

Who wants to eat this dry no sauce taco?

I haven't written a review in a long time but this is such a dumb circumstance that I have to say something. I stopped going to this location because they couldn't figure out how to make a chicken sandwich that wasn't completely dry or a tiny withered piece of chicken. I finally came back to try it out. I found out that I really love their fried fish tacos. However, I hate the habanero sauce. For many visits I asked for "dry" tacos - no sauce. It worked for 2 visits - delicious. Last time, I came in and requested again. When I got the tacos I noticed they had been previously dipped in habanero sauce as if they accidentally prepared it wrong and didn't think I'd notice. Only the fish was soggy with the sauce they drenched it in. I ate it and didn't complain. It was gross. I thought I'd try again today. I explained to the cashier what happened last time to avoid repeating the mistake. She stoically placed the order without acknowledging what happened. No apology. I waited for the food. It was drenched with habanero. I sent it back. The guy who delivered it - no apology and didn't listen either. A few minutes later I got the dry tacos with no sauces at all. I had to ask for the pico and the peach chipotle (two additional trips) then was told how I should order it next time - which was exactly how I ordered it this time. Guess I won't be coming back for a really long time again. I tried.

I love to eat vegetarian meals at least twice a week. And these wings are my go to when I eat vegetarian meals. They are a starter here but the portion is big enough to be a meal. They are my favorite thing at Bella Green!!!!

A solid neighborhood place with a great rewards program. I usually get a salad here. They're all good and far too big to finish in one sitting. Their fish tacos are a messy and tasty option. Wine by the glass options are good and they have a happy hour with $3 beers. Their pizza is not worth the calories. A bit soggy, even though I'd asked for it to be crisped.

I adore bellagreen. The ambiance is very nice; it is well-lit and decorated, creating a warm and trendy vibe. You order at a counter and they bring the food to you, so the dining experience is more on the casual side. The food is consistently great. My go-to order is the Honey Fried Goat Cheese & Arugula Salad. It is so fresh and fruity, with the salty element introduced by that amazing fried goat cheese medallion. It is the perfect lunch. I've also tried their Wagyu Burger, and it is hearty, flavorful, and delicious. Highly recommend!

Kale Caesar Salad with added grilled chicken
    Ruby D.

A Saturday craving for a specific lunch~ brought me here after SO many years: chicken caesar salad with fries and a coke. This review isn't for everyone and that's okay but for the girls that get it, this is for you. Solo girl lunch is something I try to do once a week for myself. Service: counter service girl was whatever but, it doesn't even matter in this instance because all I want to do is talk to as little people as possible but still get my food ordered. Seating: Lots of two top tables placed in good cozy corners. Options for ideal people watching but not being watched as you eat a solo lunch. Chefs kiss Salad and fries: They nailed this for me. The 'kale caesar' is a perfectly upgraded caesar salad. Pickled red onions, fried capers, sun dried tomatoes added a lot to this simple standard salad. I added grilled chicken for the $3.99 and it was a bit dry, not a dealbreaker but I might try their blackened or roasted chicken options next time. Fries were crispy and hot, served with ketchup. Beverage: Soda choices were half Pepsi products and half Stubborn sodas, which are good too. Dr Pepper is always my top choice so I was happy. Compostable green straw but isn't the trash paper kind (sry not sry) Parking: this BG location is under some apartments so the first floor of the garage is parking for the restaurant! Easy.

The cauliflower wings are amazing and so are the pulled chicken tacos!!! The Brick chicken is also pretty good. Service is always good and the outside area is nice to sit in.

    Veggie tacos (gluten free)
    Harshath G.

As someone with celiac (strict gluten-free), I really appreciated the options available at this place and their care with making things careful in terms of cross-contamination as well as having a gluten-free fryer. The restaurant is quite large with both indoor and outdoor seating, pretty clean, and usually not too crowded. It's an order at counter type of place and they bring your food to the table. The non-salad entrees that are both gluten-free and vegetarian, a bit more limited, but there are definitely a few options. I opted for the veggie tacos and also ate some fries. The sauces served with the tacos were nice, and I appreciated the mix of vegetables in the tacos. Given this place is more of an American bistro, I don't think tacos are necessarily their specialty item, so they were not bad but not incredible. The fries were great! I might consider going here 1 or 2 more times to try 1-2 more items, as I definitely appreciate the gluten-free options.

I opted for the high top right by the kitchen, and honestly, great choice -- it smelled amazing. Most people prefer not to sit by the kitchen with all the foot traffic but I didn't mind it at all. Nobie's is a house that's been transformed into a restaurant. One of the bartenders told me it's a 104-year-old house, and the whole place has very "house party" vibes in the best way. The music is LOUD. And it gets progressively louder as the night goes on, so if that's not your vibe, keep that in mind. But I was very into it. Lil Flip was playing when I walked in and it took me back to high school house parties. On shuffle were more throwbacks and classics: Ludacris and "Notorious Thugs" by Biggie. The chairs, however, were not my favorite. They're low-backed and kind of cage-like, with only a thin cushion, so they aren't exactly the most comfortable for a long meal. Started with a cocktail: the Remolacha del Corazón -- beet tequila, mezcal, watermelon (house-made syrup), lime and a tajín rim. You can hardly taste the mezcal, which I'm assuming is the point. I like mezcal so it would have been nice to taste it but the beet tequila is definitely the star, with the watermelon and lime adding a nice balance. Appetizer: Don't Worry, Brie Happy ($18). Brie, local honey, smoked grapes, toast. There was basically no local honey on my plate, but those smoked grapes?! They're topped with flaky salt while they're still hot and OMG!! The combination of warm, smoky, sweet and salty was fantastic. My only complaint was the amount of toast. There was a little too much toast for the amount of brie and grapes, so the ratios felt slightly off. Main course: Jamón With Your Bad Self ($45). Ibérico secreto pork steak, tonnato, shaved Brussels sprouts, salsa verde and almonds. I'm particular about pork, so I was taking a bit of a chance here, but this dish sounded too interesting to pass up. The pork steak was cooked perfectly and had some wonderfully crispy pieces around the edges. The tonnato underneath the pork was really good. It almost reminded me of a Caesar dressing and added this rich, savory element to the dish. The shaved Brussels sprouts were great, too, especially with the almonds and Parmesan. Everything worked really well together. Dessert: Olive Oil Cake. A house staple, and for good reason. A lovely way to end the meal. Overall, Nobie's has a really fun, unpretentious energy. Between the old-house setting, loud music and memorable dishes, it feels like somewhere you go to hang out as much as you go to eat. Just know what you're getting into with the volume and the seating -- this is not exactly a quiet, polished fine-dining experience, and that's kind of the charm.

Regarding the food, the Frisée Salad was pretty good, well dressed and flavorful. The chicken sandwich was okay. The batter was crispy and flaky but it had no flavor. What made it a lot better was the coleslaw that brought a great deal of tang and moisture. The steak was not quite for me. It came on a bed of sauce that was flavorful with fresh veggies but it did not go well with the steak. Perhaps chicken would've suited better. The steak itself was dry and quite chewy. For dessert we had the carrot cake tres leches which was decent. The carrot cake flavor was there but the moisture from the cake was not fully spread in the cake. The breads are baked in-house so they tasted very fresh and so delicious. I would definitely return for the bread basket and to try other dishes but I would not order the Cappelletti or Orecchiette again. Valet is a little tough here because the parking lot is small, but they managed to do a good job all things considered so kudos to them. Food: the food is absolutely amazing. Their version of Jerk Chicken is very unique. Full of flavor and very tasty. Every bite was amazing. I will say, though if they were to make this on an open pit or a flame pit like Caribbean hot pot I think it would really add to the flavor but all in all the way they do it. It's very unique and it's very good. The bed of rice that is served on is phenomenal. I've never had rice that good. Also, I don't even eat vegetables, but the greens are amazing. The lamb chops were a little tough. My girl ordered them, medium rare, and it was tougher to cut them. So maybe it was just a bad day but they were OK. Everything else was amazing. The dessert was amazing as well. The service was top-notch! Our waitress was Carter and she did an amazing job. She was very perishable and had some great suggestions for us. She made sure we were taking care of the entire time. We love the Decor in the restaurant as well.

We had a 7pm reservation for two, and it was in a corner with a small table and high bar stools. It was very hot. We were sweaty, and I am normally very cold in restaurants. I think they go a little overboard with saying that having food here is like traveling the world and breaks down barriers. I like the concept though. They could do more with the decor to give it more of a world traveler vibe. They definitely tried. They were playing American hip hop music, which does not fit the international theme. We got the three course dinner, which was $60 each plus tip. The food was good but did not feel like it was worth the price. For appetizers, we got the Mochiko Chicken and Crispy Pork Belly in Pasilla Sauce. We liked the chicken a lot, and it came with a sweet mango chutney and spicy mayo sauce. The pork belly was alright. It was pretty standard. For entrees, we got the Singaporean Shrimp Laksa and Nigerian Suya Skewers. I liked the noodles and curry, but the fish cakes were not that appetizing. The skin was much bigger than the meat inside, so it would weirdly inflate or deflate. The shrimp came with their tails on, so I got my hands slimy with curry. I did not personally try the beef, but I was informed it was a 3.85/5 and 4/5 with the sauce. The laksa was a decently sized portion, but the beef was quite the small portion with a few chunks and a bit of rice and tomatoes. For dessert, we enjoyed the Orange Torta Caprese and New Orleans Bourbon Bread Pudding. I was kind of confused why the chocolate cake was called torta. It was very small but nice and rich. The orange flavour was strong. The bread pudding, on the other hand, was very big. Although it wasn't pudding. There was a large piece of the bread in whole form. It was delicious. I did not taste bourbon.

The team behind the popular restaurant Nobie's opened up this tiki inspired restaurant. Tiki bars happen to be one of my favorite varieties of bars so I was more than excited to finally check it off my list. I had recently seen them on the Food Network as well. They share a lot with another popular dining spot so parking can be a little difficult in their lot. You can find street parking or park across the street in an overflow lot. Customer service was great from start to finish. We had just ate next door and our intentions were to come in here just for cocktails, but I couldn't leave without trying some of the popular items. I wanted the most tropical drink I could find on the menu so I started off with the Blue Hawaiian. I saw fire on the description so my extra self needed to have it. I'm a big rum guy so this drink was right up my alley and very boozy with two types of rum. It was very coconut forward with pineapple being the secondary flavor. One was enough for me to feel just right. Since we had just ate, we decided to share the World Famous Cheeseburger. This was a great burger. I don't know if they were going for the smash effect, but it had smash burger characteristics. It had all my favorite things that are musts on a burger like American cheese and red onions. It also had a very nice chili aioli that added great flavor to the burger. I came on another stop for a drink visit shortly after and tried the pork dumplings and popcorn chicken. These were also very good. If I lived in the area, this place would easily be a place I would frequent often. I will most definitely be back!

They have an outdoor eating area, a bar area, and seating in the very back. It's very spacious, comfortable, and intimate. The theme of the restaurant is seen all over from the moment you enter, to the music, the menu and the restroom. They paid close attention to detail with decorating. We had an amazing server, delicious drinks (a must try), and ok food. We ordered four drinks the painkilla, vamos à la playa, captains grog, and the Hemingway daiquiri. All were great drinks and we loved how they give you flavor characteristics of the drinks on the menu. The appetizers that we ordered were the sweet and sour cauliflower and the pork dumplings, which is why I gave this place four stars. The presentation of both appetizers were excellent. However, the pork dumplings were disappointing. They came with only six dumplings for $17, were served cold, and are very bland. In my opinion, they weren't worth the price. On the other hand, the sweet and sour cauliflower was our favorite and is definitely a must-try.

Okay, Nancy's Hustle is officially a HIDDEN GEM!…read more I chose this place for dinner based on a recommendation, and it absolutely did not disappoint. This was the dinner portion of a first date, and the vibe was PERFECT. First things first--Nancy's Hustle is kind of tucked away, so you need to know where you're going. Map yourself there and pay attention because you could easily pass right by it. But once I opened that door... YES! It's a small, intimate restaurant with low lighting, a bar, table seating and a patio. We arrived before the patio opened at 7:00, which was perfectly fine with me because I actually prefer sitting at the bar. The whole space just had that cozy, intimate, grown-folks-date-night feel without trying too hard. We started with cocktails. My date ordered one of their summer cocktails--I cannot remember the name to save my life --but it was a beautiful yellow drink served with a pineapple slice, and it was GOOD! I stuck with my favorite, a classic Long Island, and they made it perfectly. Now let's talk about this FOOD! We tried the Parmesan and Pancetta Croquettes, and they were delicious. Crispy on the outside and incredibly soft, creamy, savory and cheesy inside, with shredded Parmesan across the top. Even the presentation was beautiful. I ordered the cheeseburger, and I almost NEVER get excited about somebody changing up a burger, but this one came on an English muffin and IT WORKED! The fresh beef smash burger was cooked perfectly. I left off the pickles, aioli and onions, but otherwise I wouldn't have changed a thing. It was honestly one of the best-prepared burgers I've had in a while. Then, halfway through my burger, I discovered they had French fries. How did I miss the fries?! So of course I ordered them late, and I'm glad I did. Fresh, hand-cut potatoes, perfectly cooked, and served with a dipping sauce that I cannot identify--but whatever was in that little cup needs to keep happening because it was AMAZING. From the cocktails to the food to the atmosphere, Nancy's Hustle was exactly what I wanted for a first-date dinner: intimate, relaxed, interesting and GOOD. Definitely one of those places that makes you say, "How have I never been here before?" Nancy's Hustle, I WILL be back.

The bartender was very attentive. I'm not a huge burger person but if I'm craving a burger, Nancy's Hustle is the place I want to eat a burger. I had a burger and fries and both were delicious. I really love the garlic aioli! I love that they have seasonal items and I would like to come back when the apple crisp is back on the menu.
