I needed a sweet treat, and Bella's caught my eye on Yelp! Centrally located in Downtown, this is a great option for a little dessert after your meal. It's serve yourself on the froyo here - unless you want a boozy shake or dessert from their menu! There were 6 different flavor options when I visited - and you could get the two next to each other mixed, which provided some other flavor options. This is less than I've seen at other froyo spots, but I love that this isn't a chain! I enjoyed caramel pretzel and five spice (like chai) flavors, with a few toppings. They had an array of toppings to pick from - mostly crushed candies, but some fruit and others as well. The cup is then weighed, and you pay per weight. You can get a cone instead too! A few seating options inside here, and some games out. Cute little store! read more

It's hot again in STL so something cool was needed! I got street parking right along the building. Nobody was there when we entered but they came from the back and were welcoming and informative. Our two treats were $18. After paying we couldn't fined utensils and had to ask. The gentleman had to open a new pack, mentioning it was the prior shifts fault.. Seems small but a major detail as a spoon is an important part of this experience. ;) read more

Very little flavor and what you can taste just doesn't taste good or right... and many of the toppings are wet and glommed together (think wet, mushy piles of what used to be Reese's cups or bits of cookie dough). The "white" chocolate sauce had soured. For the quality the price is ridiculous. The person working was not kind of helpful and seemed bothered by us asking questions. This place is amazing! I really love frozen yogurt- the flavors at Bella's are so unique and tasty! Today I went with the white chocolate mouse, dark chocolate, and pistachio. They were a great combo! The space is fun- has a great vibe- games to play. The toppings for the fro-yo are pretty typical, what isn't typical are the options for a boozy shake, amazing coffee drinks and the super inclusive space. They have a gray bar stocked with local spirits. A boozy shake is in my future. I can't wait to go back and try more of the amazing combos! read more

Not going to lie, I am usually not a frozen yogurt guy, more so of a gelato or regular ice cream, but Bella's changed that for me! Located in downtown St Louis, it's an easy stop for most who need a sweet treat during a warm day or even cold one for those frozen yogurt lovers! The inside of the establishment is small, but these type of establishments are easy grab and go's. Their flavors likely fluctuate, so one thing to keep in mind, but when I was there I got a trifecta of Ooey Gooey Cinnabon, Strawberry Jalapeno, and Five Spice Coconut. While mixed together does not sound good, they provide dividers for your cup making it easy to not mix flavors. Price wise, its very affordable and their staff is quite nice and willing to answer any questions. They also offer flavored drinks, but I was all about the frozen yogurt when I was there. All and all a great stop with tasty cold treats to go! read more

We just moved in and I saw this place from the road and k ew I had to check it out. I walk in and there's tons of Christmas decorations and an Elf (the movie) pop up! I was in Christmas heaven!!! They had so many flavors and their toppings selection was absolutely amazing! They have a coffee menu and even hot cocoa bombs. I can't wait to make this a regular stop. read more

Yum! Bella's was a perfect night cap. I loved the yogurt itself, but the store was also so cute inside. Our cashier was very nice as well. Perfect place for people of all ages, as they had regular frozen yogurt, but also, boozy frozen drinks for adults. I got the new york cheesecake flavor, with cheesecake bites and strawberries on top. It ended up being about $10, so it was a little pricey, but I would say worth it. They were out of a lot of flavors when we went at night, so definitely go during the day, as it goes fast. read more

While living in Downtown St. Louis, I became obsessed with this locally-owned froyo shop for so many reasons. Selection - Bella's constantly changes up their menu to have new and interesting flavors every time you visit. With the amount of flavors they offer, it seems like the possibilities are endless, and believe me when I say I've pretty much tried my best to taste each flavor combo. Toppings - from mild to wild, Bella's toppings bar is SO well curated. They have toppings you'd expect like chocolate chips and sprinkles, but also offer tons of different toppings like Fruity Pebbles (my personal favorite topping!) Location - I used to walk my pup past Bella's froyo multiple times a day. Their location is perfect! Easy to get to. Easy to park. It's always a stress-free adventure when you visit for some froyo. Ownership - the owners have such HUGE hearts. They are committed to the community and constantly show support in big ways. I really want to 5 star this place, but it's a solid 3 at this point. The location is fun, right on Washington Ave, but at a spot that weekend nights have nearby streets blocked off. I had to meander around to try to park. There was also a huge pile of (presumably) dog doo right in the middle of the sidewalk in front of the place. The FroYo was ok, albeit way too runny. I chose two flavors and both started out like water then firmed up. This is such a pet peeve at these places. I had a dapple of strawberries and dapple of brownie bits, that's it for toppings. I went in wanting the bare minimum of ice cream and probably filled my cup not even half way. It was $9!!! They do have to go ready made containers but they're all boozy. I'm pregnant and husband is sober so had to pass on those. It may be a while before I return given the price and runny 'Yo. Clementines is at least consistent and worth every penny. read more

Independently owned fro-yo shop that closed for 3 years, but then new owners brought it back. Some great ideas are in place here, but they are seriously lacking on executing them. Have very unique fro-yo flavors in addition to the classics. I got two different types of fro-yo, and they were both totally melted coming out of the machine. My friend had the same experience. Have cones in addition to bowls, and a cone in the shape of a bowl. Also have a micro-wave where you can heat up your cone before putting the fro-yo inside. I got a bowl-shaped cone, but it was really stale. Have a little foldable paper that you can put into your fro-yo container that keeps the different flavors separate. Have fresh fruit on toppings bar. Supposedly they buy the fruit toppings everyday fresh from the farmers' market. Very small space with only a couple of seats and flavor options. Plans for: -Collaborations with local food purveyors -Full line of smoothies that use frozen yogurt as the base. -Getting their yogurt from a farm in Arkansas, but one machine being reserved for a flavor they make in-house. -Working on collaborations with places in STL for truly unique STL tastes read more

Came for a Yelp Elite perk and really loved it. Went crazy with the toppings. They had a ton of flavors. I'm normally a Pinkberry girl but that doesn't exist here in STL so I was happy to get to try somewhere new. Lots of yogurt choices and they had everything in rainbow to celebrate Pride which I loved. Hubs and I both got our own and the two people there were really nice. Amazing! All I can say is amazing. My family went on vacation to St Louis and we wanted some frozen yogurt because we had not had it in a long time and we found Bella's. Frozen Yogurt shops are a dime a dozen now days, but I was especially happy to see a new one open downtown within a few blocks of my home. Yesterday was the grand opening which coincided with the St. Louis Cardinals opening day, so I had to swing by before going to the game. The setup is similar to most self-serve yogurt shops. You help yourself to a cup and choose from 8 different flavors of yogurt including low-fat and no-fat options. A toppings bar offers fresh fruit and a selecting of candies and such. There are a few things that I really like about this place. First is the banana yogurt! I'd never had banana yogurt until this place, and I must say it was delicious! The second think I like is the fresh fruit on the toppings bar. The ripe and juicy strawberries were perfect with the banana yogurt! The third thing I like about this place is that it's owned by a couple who live downtown. They have filled a nice corner space on Washington Avenue making it a great addition to the neighborhood. You won't find a gazillion options here at Bella's, but you will find a nice simple selection of yogurts and toppings in a nice little place. I wish they would have had a vanilla option, but I'm kind of glad it pushed me to try new tasty options like the banana and mango. Anyway, they say their flavors will change often, and I can say I will be back often....probably very often. I almost returned after the baseball game, but didn't think another cup of yogurt would go well with the beer I'd had. 4 stars for Bella's and lots of love to one of our newest downtown establishments! read more

I tried the Triple Chocolate, Tahitian Vanilla, Southern Butter Pecan, and Pralines 'n Cream. They were all delicious. The nut toppings were all crushed to the perfect size--not too big, not too small. I love the set-up and color scheme. If you don't like your flavors to get mixed up, use the complimentary dividers.
