Went to Belle to get something sweet for my birthday and wasn't disappointed. I ended up ordering tiramisu and a raspberry tart. The tiramisu was average, nothing special. The tart was better and tasted very fresh. Both desserts were good, but not great. Everyone was friendly and very knowledgable. This bakery is very cute! It has a lot of pretty pastries and good seating. I noticed that the person at the counter spoke Japanese! I tried a fruit tart. There was custard filling and on top were fruits like kiwi slices, strawberries. The tart was delicious, although a big expensive - the tart itself was about $5. I also tried their vanilla latte, which was good. They use Caffe d'arte beans. My breakfast was close to $8 so this is definitely not a breakfast place I would frequent very often. My wife and I ordered the petit fours tasting menu to have with tea at home. The pastries were glued down to the box with a sticky glaze. I assume this was to prevent them from moving around in transit, but they were so stuck that we had to scrape them off with a spatula. After all of that hassle, the pastries weren't even good. Pretty disappointed with my visit here. This was my second time at Belle Pastry, I was disappointed last time but decided to give it another try. The cafe has tables for you to sit and have coffee with the pastries. The atmosphere is ok doesn't really feel inviting. The service is SLOW. There were a few people behind the counters and it took about 3 minutes before anyone acknowledged you and another 10-15 until you got to order. I got the pair tart which was $5.50! The Tarr tasted stale as if it's been re refrigerated for a few days. I was not happy with it at all. Way overpriced for what it was. Belle Pastry was a staple in our house for the past 4-5 years. We enjoyed their pastries, cakes, coffee, birthday cakes. It pains me to say that I will NEVER shop at this place again. I went in yesterday not wearing a mask because of medical issues. The employee offered me a mask and I declined explaining that I can't wear one. She asked me for PROOF that I have a medical condition otherwise she would not sell anything to me. So I left after telling her that this is not nazy Germany to require papers and that I will never shop there again. I called the manager and left a message but never heard back. He/she needs to train the employees better to understand privacy laws. Edit: The manager called and acknowledged that the situation should have been handled differently. Any place that will make me drive over 20min, or take me out of my way, just to eat at their place, it will be, +3 . I really enjoy this place. Is very cute, clean and relaxing. Definitely is not that crazy Starbucks loud environment. Every time I come to this place, I must to have the pear tart, ham and Swiss croissants, and of course, my grande caffe mocha . Everybody here are so nice. Usually, if they don't have the sandwich on the display, but if they have the bread available, the will make it for you! Sometimes my favorite sandwich of ham and cheese is not on the display, if they still have the croissant, I don't even need to ask to make it, they are the ones that take the action, and ask if I would like to have one made. BP - is a charming, bustling corner of Paris - right on Main Street Bellevue. The almond croissant is my go to, or maybe a chocolate coconut dipped macroon. They have gravely navigated the COVID disaster - and accommodated all of the Governor's pre- and post election gyrations to manage the spread of COVID. I do miss the lovely team of Russian gals - wonder where they went? And I wonder if it's under new ownership - where is the Father-daughter team. I used to love this place but stuff has changed and the service became very bad. They closed 1 hour early 6 pm instead of 7pm. When we were ordering they did not tell us that they will close soon instead they let us order and then after five minutes they kicked us out with our food and drinks. We didn't know what we had to do. Also it used to be very clean but not anymore. I asked for water they didn't give me water they told me to go buy a bottle of water very rude stuff. Never ever I have seen such bad service. This was my second attempt trying to come here , the first time we came the man who was working at that time was a bit rude , we would try and ask a question and before we could even finish our sentence he was already saying no and answering without even completely hearing us out. we showed up about two hours before closing and the he told us we could not order a sandwich anymore because they were closing at that time even though there was still 2 hours before closing . Now for our second attempt we were glad we decided to give it another chance there wasn't much desserts our sweets but we did get to at least have a croissant sandwich. It was pretty full inside so we chose to sit outside and they had our order done in no time actually. I LOVE french macaroons, and I'm still in search for the perfect place for them. That leads us to Belle Pastry, which was next on my macaroon hit list! I came in during the afternoon and the first thing I noticed was how spacious it was! It was very busy, and there was only two ladies working. So service was quite slow, took me about 15 minutes to get my order in. But I didn't mind, it can get hard to work a busy shift with only two people staffed! The macaroon flavors I decided to try out were raspberry, orange, earl grey, pistachio, and lavender. I love it when macaroons come in tea or floral flavors, especially earl grey! And the flavors definitely didn't disappoint here. But what did was the texture of them. The top of the macaroons weren't as light and fluffy and lacked the crisp. They did ended up being more on the chewy side as well. Although the macaroons themselves were alright, I don't think I will see myself coming back for them any time soon! I'm still in search of that perfect french macaroon, and Le Panier is still on top of the list. And so the search still continues! read more

This bakery had the worst tasting pastries. It is highly overrated. We decided to get dessert here due to the reviews however, we were disappointed. The service was very good but nothing could make up for what we ate. We got the raspberry Napoleon, a few macaroons and strawberry cake. Everything was bland. The macaroons all tasted like buttercream and nothing more. We also ordered drinks. I got a nonfat latte and my husband got a cappuccino. Unfortunately both were made with a POWDER! Checked out the new Belle Pastry location down the block from the old location. Like everything in Bellevue, the old charming places are being replaced by soulless dual-purpose condo/retail spaces. When you stepped into the old location, you were magically transported to France. Unfortunately, they seem to have left all the magic at the old location. The new location has all the charm of a Panera. Fortunately, pastries and baguettes are as good as ever. Had a piece of strawberry cake and a macaroon. Both were excellent and not overly sweet, which I like. This place is pricey, but the price is justified by the quality. There are a few improvements. The store is physically bigger, with more seats. New parking lot available in the back. Wide sidewalks with outdoor patio seating. I think they will do more business than ever in this location, but it's sad to see its loss of character. read more

The pastries looked tempting, but since we were heading out to eat, we skipped right to the drinks. Such a lovely spot- lots of friends and couples hanging out at lunch time enjoying the ambience. Light, bright and cheerful - the space draws you in with the giant bakery cases and beautiful treats on display. They have bakery goods, espresso and a lunch menu - but what drew me in were the macarons. I've heard such good things about them but never tried one. Well, today was the day! And OH MY GOSH!
