Any coffee shop that is open for 24 hours has my heart. I think that's an underrated perk, especially in a big city. Night owls deserve a coffee shop too. So many coffee shops like to close at 3 or 4, so a shop that closes never is pretty big time. Located right off the ACC campus, Bennu Coffee was busy on the Sunday I went, with most tables being taken by people locked in on studying. Their menu was pretty expansive, but I got a vanilla latte while my girlfriend ordered one of their many mochas, which people told us they were known for. The drinks came out pretty quickly, and I thought my drink was good! It wasn't anything special, but it was good. RIYL: coffee at 4 am

Bennu Coffee is a good place to go for a cup of coffee if you are near ACC Highland campus. The coffee shop is open 24 hours, I believe. So it's a good place to go anytime of day. The prices are reasonable. I usually go with an iced latte. The staff is friendly. The prices are reasonable. Seating inside or outside depending on the weather or where you want to sit. Parking is not bad.

1/4/2026 My wife and I were looking for a place to work around the area and Bennu was one of the few coffee spots open past 6 PM on a Sunday (24 hours!). We've been to the MLK location so we weren't sure what to expect on this one. We were lucky enough to find parking along the street when we arrived. When we entered the shop is pretty spacious with a variety of seating--big tables and smaller ones--nicely spread out. They do have some outdoor seating as well and there are a couple couches for anyone looking for something more comfortable. I ordered an iced latte and a blueberry muffin, basic but good! Definitely on a list of work spaces for the future!!

The surface is OK they don't have enough options for different types of water. They have tables and chairs and it was pretty busy today. The lighting is OK. Music is OK. It looks like a inside warehouse and lots of people are just sitting minding their own beeswax on their computer and cell phone so it's not very uppity and upbeat. A few tables that need to be cleaned patio outside have metal chairs and metal tables somewhat needs to be cleaned up. The paint job needs to be fixed. He needs a facelift windows needs cleaning. Their menu option is OK. It's not a wild factor for me so far.

I have been here many times to meet up with friends, and I joined a book club that meets here every other Wednesdays at 7:00 pm. It has always been easy for me to find parking in the parking garage, but there is also street parking available. Since it is open 24/7, it is the perfect place to do some reading or studying. There are a lot of people here at night, but I have always been able to find a seat. They have a variety of seating here, including tables, couches, high-tops, and lounge chairs. They have a ton of outlets, including at the tables, so you can plug in your electronics. The noise volume is quiet, perfect for concentrating on whatever you need to get done. They do not allow outside food or drinks. They offer wifi if you make a purchase, and they have a free water station. There is a printer near the front door with instructions on how to pay and use it. The is a bookcase near the ordering counter with board games you can borrow as well as Bennu T-Shirt merchandise available for purchase. Overall, this is a great coffee shop if you want a place to go to concentrate on a project where you will be surrounded by focused people.

Fun names for the coffee from literary work. The vibe is moody. It's giving Clue library or study. Service if fast and friendly, they provide the WiFi password without you having to ask. Most people come here to work or study. Close to the Highland Austin Community College campus.

Overall, a good cup of coffee in a very cute area! My only reason for not selecting five stars is the barista wasn't very friendly. Besides the customer service, this really is a good spot to get a strong coffee and work away. Plenty of seating options, lots of natural light, and they have a lot of snack options!

I really liked this shop. The space is open and welcoming, and the staff is very friendly. The vegan peanut butter cup was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The hibiscus mint tea was well brewed and delicious as well. Lots of seating options depending on your group size. The pastries looked amazing too.

I was a little confused when I drove up because I didn't realize that it's inside the Retreat Yoga Studio. There is a neon sign on the window as well as an A-Frame Sign near the entrance to let you know you're in the right place. Parking is plentiful in the shopping center. Because it's in a Yoga Studio, there isn't much seating (though they did have tables set up outside). The vibe was relaxing and calm. I don't know what scent they had in there, but it smelled nice. This wouldn't be a place to study or work as the seating is limited and I didn't see many outlets. There was a small area with bar stools if you need a tabletop, but most of the seating was couches and lounge chairs. It's more of a place to relax or catch up with a friend. I love when coffee shops have signature drinks. I ordered the Cajeta Crème Brûlée Cappuccino. It was so good, but it came in a small cup. The smoky sea salt was delicious! I don't typically care for sea salt in beverages, but it complimented the flavors so well! I asked the barista to sub oat milk which they were able to do but he informed me that some of the ingredients had dairy (which was fine). I appreciated the disclosure. I was able to drink it without any issues. Because my drink was so small, I decided to order a second one. I went with the Ginger Snap Latte (with oat milk) and it was tasty! I didn't like it as much as the Cajeta Crème Brûlée, but it was really good. I was happy that it was served in a larger cup. The space had plants as well as merch like clothing, scented candles, soaps, and jewelry (which was beautiful). The bathrooms were very clean and had feminine hygiene products as well as a basket with bobby pins and hair ties. I love the attention to detail! We were there close to closing time (3 pm). I appreciated that one of the employees let us know that they would be closing without forcing us to get up and leave. It was on par with the gentle and calming vibe of the space.

Nice space, good mix of seating, wifi, local feel, and friendly staff. Their seasonal drinks were usually fun, the bottled horchata cold brew was great when they actually had it, and buying a quart of regular cold brew was convenient. I also remember them being one of the first places around here doing nitro cold brew. No pour overs, but the drip was solid enough when you wanted something hot. I still own a couple of their t-shirts, so clearly I liked the place. The issue is getting there. The lot is small, uneven, and full of bumps, rocks, and holes, which is not easy when you use a cane. They used to have a handicap space, but the line faded and the sign disappeared. I would drive by hoping for parking, but that intersection is not one I want to circle around more than once.
