Our group of 4 came to this coffeehouse for the first time on a Sunday afternoon for a cute and wholesome working and reading session! I specifically enjoyed the fact that this place offers a spacious layout on the inside and they even have a big outdoor patio as well for when the weather gets warmer again. The overall noise-level was in between quiet and average, which made it a perfect environment for me to read in peace because noisy environments are a big distraction for me when it comes to leisurely reading haha. As for snacks and beverages, I ended up ordering their house made quiche, which was both tasty and clean and had a nice mix of eggs, spinach, mushroom, and Swiss cheese! They also heat up the food for you, which an always a plus! Although I didn't order a beverage, all the prices seem relatively reasonable especially in today's economy. I'll be looking forward to returning in the near future for one of our next sessions! read more

This was my go-to study spot in college! The tables are huge and perfect to study at, and I love the funky uncoordinated furniture and lamps, it's definitely my favorite part. I would not recommend the espresso drinks, but I loved getting drip coffee and apple pie. read more

I like it here. Great first date spot. The patio outside is sort of dirty, but there is ample seating and water bowls for your pets. The inside is quiet with people studying, so you might want to consider sitting outside for better conversation. Good coffee! They serve it up in actual mugs/glasses, too. i get my best work done here, and trust me when i say i have been to every coffee shop in a mile radius of UT. and thank god for that, because i have the great fortune of living close enough to this fine establishment that i can (and do) visit often. Flightpath is the closest thing to a third space that can feasibly exist in this hellacious post-capitalist epoch of the Anthropocene. things are reasonably priced - the coffee tastes exactly like what i'd make myself at home - and best of all, everything about this place is entirely unpretentious. you wouldn't even realize you're in an Austin institution but for the art on the walls and the little bits of local history scattered throughout the café. the baristas are kind and the patrons understanding. if seating is hard to come by, don't be afraid to sidle up to someone and ask if you can share their table. chances are they'll say yes. you might even make a friend. read more

I've been meaning to try this spot for so long now and today was the day! I decided on their New Orleans iced coffee, (the barista was kind and explained it to be similar to a Vietnamese coffee) a blueberry muffin, and a breakfast taco with salsa verde. I believe all that totaled out to be $14 and some change. The coffee was made on demand but the taco had been pre made and had been a little cold and limp. Luckily, it was just enough to get me through the study session. I loved how spacious this coffeehouse is. There was plenty of seating, large tables, nothing felt crammed. The noise volume was impressively low: perfect for those who need to lock in to their task. The food didn't leave a lasting impression but I enjoyed the quiet, relaxed atmosphere. A old-timey coffeehouse off 51st street on the northern edge of Hyde Park. It's a large coffeeshop with both meaningful indoor and outdoor seating which is completely and woefully underserved by the tiny parking lot in front of the coffeeshop. You'll likely have to park down Duvall or 50th street. Despite the large size, Flightpath is a staple around the area and can often be full throughout the day. I went most recently between Thanksgiving and Christmas and there was a flood of both what appeared to be students studying for finals, as well as professionals working from "home". Coffee selection is good, but no matcha options for those who are interested. There is a no-frills ambiance which lends itself well to actual studying and work as opposed to more of a "come to talk about work" type of atmosphere. Closes at 7pm; later night options will probably lead you to Bennu Coffee @ Highland ACC. read more

This coffee shop is so misleading that you will be surprised just how much space there is at Flightpath Coffeehouse. This shop is perfect for those long study sessions or work moments. They have food for any appetite since they have a literal wall of snacks, breakfast items, and savory foods including pizza. What I enjoy about Flightpath is that everything is a mod podge of tables and chairs, yet it works together so well. As a non-printer owner (more like two printers missing cords etc. at home lol), I appreciate the ability to print at the coffeeshop. It's such a genius accommodation. The bathrooms are unisex and easy to access. Now parking is a little more intricate like a rubik's cube, but don't let the parking situation deter you. read more

It's a no-frills, spacious cafe with outdoor patio seating and two large dining rooms full of tables (and even a printer!). It's not fancy, but it is inviting. I ordered a latte with macadamia syrup in it. It came out half empty and with very little flavor. It wasn't well brewed. If it hadn't costed as much as a fancy latte, I wouldn't mind, but the price didn't match the quantity or quality. However, this is a great spot to hang out or get some work/studying done. read more

Old Austin coffee shop still has great vibes, good coffee and food. I had the quiche and it was reasonably priced at $5.50. Their iced and hot coffee and the same price, which I love! The service was friendly and chill. They have a large outdoor deck, and there is a separate place for smokers, which I think is quite thoughtful for both smokers and non-smokers alike. Best place to grab a coffee and study. The moment that I entered this coffee shop, I already love the vibes! There are a lot of opening tables at the back and even outdoors. The table they have are descent size and feels like the ones in the library. You can totally spread out all the stuff materials you have and emerge into a good focus session.The environment is nosiy but not loud. Couple people chatting but most of them just had their headphone in and doing their own business. We got there around 9 and dodged the long line that came after. And they have coffee refill. This week, one of my best friends is visiting from California, so we are coffee shop hunting! We both love our coffees, and even more love supporting local coffee shops. Parking: ROUGH. Meh. Meh drinks. Meh internet access. They have a small smoking section outside, but the outdoors and the indoors sections of the coffee shop reek of cigarette smoke. The space is surprisingly large and there's room to spread out. Seating doesn't feel crowded, and they have a variety of munchies from Quacks, Taco Deli, and local bagel shops. But everything is prepackaged. They don't even make their own chai. It's from a box. There are better coffee shops in Austin. read more
