Pomegranate tea with a breakfast taco

A cute coffee shop, great costumer service Had a pomegranate tea, with a potato, egg and cheese taco. If you pay in cash there's a discount which I thought was super cool!

Nice place to work remotely from. It lacks natural light a bit. Service is friendly and quick. The been cheese taco I got was just ok. Overall it has a nice vibe and it's nestled in a nice area.

I've been meaning to try this spot for so long now and today was the day! I decided on their New Orleans iced coffee, (the barista was kind and explained it to be similar to a Vietnamese coffee) a blueberry muffin, and a breakfast taco with salsa verde. I believe all that totaled out to be $14 and some change. The coffee was made on demand but the taco had been pre made and had been a little cold and limp. Luckily, it was just enough to get me through the study session. I loved how spacious this coffeehouse is. There was plenty of seating, large tables, nothing felt crammed. The noise volume was impressively low: perfect for those who need to lock in to their task. The food didn't leave a lasting impression but I enjoyed the quiet, relaxed atmosphere. I'll definitely keep this place in mind to knock out some school work.

One of the classic coworking coffee shops in Austin. Coffee - solid, no complaints Coworking - ample outlets, cute shaded working spots outside Parking - lot is tiny so expect street parking

First time here. Loving the decor. Great service Ordered double mocha latte for here came in a real hot glass Con: every single 4 top table was occupied by 1 person w/a laptop, no one wanted to share a seat/table, not a very sociable place. It's a grab your coffee & go

Cool spot! Lots of space. Seems like a place a lot of folks stay a while to work or study. Good latte and tasty breakfast taco.

While exploring the many museums across the University of Texas campus, a quick caffeine break was needed for my girlfriend and we were overwhelmed by the number of options on The Drag. It makes sense that there are plenty of places to choose from because of the large number of UT students. Everyone needs a little coffee in their lives. One of the highest reviewed ones with a large pool of ratings was Lucky Lab Coffee and after checking a few quick reviews, we decided to give it a chance. Lucky Lab has five locations in Austin (four on campus) and one location in Dripping Springs. The one we were at off The Drag was their flagship. This location serves a little bit of everything from sandwiches to pastries, salad to quiche, and of course, coffee. As we walked inside the flagship, it is easy to notice how tight the space is. There is very little seating inside at their bar, but they make up for it with plenty of shaded outdoor space that is perfect for a nice day. Scanning their menu, we landed on some drinks from their winter menu. I was intrigued by their Pomegranate Rosemary Latte while my girlfriend tried their Ginger Spice Mocha. We got them both iced. First, it is interesting to see the fusion of pomegranate and rosemary in a latte. I was intrigued by those flavors. Their drink sizes are 12 oz, 16 oz, and 20 oz, each adding an additional 50 cents to each upgrade. All milk alternatives cost 1 dollar. It was only a short wait to get our coffees and the cup with the little lab on it was cute. I think specialty drinks have an opportunity to be amazing and one of a kind or the worst drink imaginable. This pomegranate rosemary latte did not fall into either category exactly, but leaned more toward the latter. I love pomegranates and I always appreciate how earthy rosemary can be in a coffee. One of my favorite lattes I have ever had has rosemary in it. This was just not working for me. I shamefully did not finish my coffee. As for my girlfriend, she did not like her ginger spice mocha. I could not imagine gingerbread syrup not working in a mocha, but after trying it myself it was not for me either. It seems like a perfect match, but here the gingerbread is competing with the chocolate and instead of complementing each other they clash. She told me that the flavors were "un-mocha like". She drank less than half of her coffee before tossing it as well. Neither of us wanted to dislike Lucky Lab. They seem well established and I felt like they were trustworthy based on reviews, but I wonder what these previous reviewers were tweaking on or what magical concoction of coffee granted from heaven above they were sipping on because we were distraught by how disappointing these drinks were. I would like to give Lucky Lab Coffee Co the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe the specialty drinks were not up to par with their traditional beverages. However, the almost 30 different syrup options on their wall make me feel they lack a little focus and try too hard to stand out. They lose what makes a coffee good, which is coffee. I want to say I will give them a second shot in the future to see if it was just an off day or a bad beverage pick. Too many shots turns a Lucky Lab into Old Yeller. The lab needs to be put on a leash before I think about returning. RIYL: options

We've been wanting to check out this shop for quite sometime and finally had the chance. From the minute we walked in the door the vibe was on! Our barista, Litsa was incredible! She was fun and bouncy and had so much positive energy. She even helped me create a concoction of sorts. Like most, lavender is my go-to. But, I also wanted toasted marshmallow and so I was torn. She suggested a combo of the two for my cappuccino (with oat milk of course). Wow! It was spectacular. I was so beyond miserable when I walked in the door (the rain) and she turned things around for me within 30 seconds of interacting. Her positivity and kindness were through the roof! My cappuccino concoction...so good I think it should be a menu feature! The banana guard iced latte my boyfriend got was equally as delicious. It was like an ice cream treat for grown-ups. Everything about the shop is so welcoming. Warm lighting, comfortable seating, and spacious. So much for the eye to take in as they have offerings from local artists and craftspeople for sale. A mini store if you will. All lined neatly on wall hanging shelves. They've got candles, pottery, jewelry, clothing, etc. All the goodies you'd expect to find at a gift and craft, artisan shop. Fitting since the drinks they put out are liquid art. Since it's about a ten-minute walk from home, it'll definitely be a new stop when going to the pet store. Wonderful experience on a dreary day.

This place is full vegan and tip free (as is included in the price) I got a dirty chai latte with oat milk. It tasted very natural, like the oatmeal was handmade or something. Very natural and creamy. The inside was very colorful, decorated, with many shops from artists in the Austin area. There was plenty of seating. The only thing is that it is very pricy and I didn't get an itemized receipt in the text, so I'm not sure exactly how much the drinks, tax, and tip were. I liked this place, and would come back in the future!
