Cute artsy coffeehouse. Very spacious. Great for a group meet up. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The whole place is decorated with art on the walls that's available for purchase. The coffee was good although my medium cappuccino felt a little on the small side. I liked that they had a printer on hand that you could use for a quick print job. read more

Our group of 4 came to this coffeehouse for the first time on a Sunday afternoon for a cute and wholesome working and reading session! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I specifically enjoyed the fact that this place offers a spacious layout on the inside and they even have a big outdoor patio as well for when the weather gets warmer again.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The overall noise-level was in between quiet and average, which made it a perfect environment for me to read in peace because noisy environments are a big distraction for me when it comes to leisurely reading haha.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As for snacks and beverages, I ended up ordering their house made quiche, which was both tasty and clean and had a nice mix of eggs, spinach, mushroom, and Swiss cheese! They also heat up the food for you, which an always a plus! Although I didn't order a beverage, all the prices seem relatively reasonable especially in today's economy. I'll be looking forward to returning in the near future for one of our next sessions! read more

This was my go-to study spot in college! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The tables are huge and perfect to study at, and I love the funky uncoordinated furniture and lamps, it's definitely my favorite part.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would not recommend the espresso drinks, but I loved getting drip coffee and apple pie. read more

I used to study here during my UT days in the late 90's. Came here recently with a friend and it has not changed one bit and that is a very GOOD thing! Flight path Coffee was a solid coffee spot on the way to work for me. I ordered a migas taco and a medium almond milk latte for under 10 dollars. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Pricing was very fair, it wasn't my favorite latte but the ambiance and the taco were nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great local spot and the staff was super nice and friendly. 8/10 read more

i get my best work done here, and trust me when i say i have been to every coffee shop in a mile radius of UT. and thank god for that, because i have the great fortune of living close enough to this fine establishment that i can (and do) visit often. Flightpath is the closest thing to a third space that can feasibly exist in this hellacious post-capitalist epoch of the Anthropocene. things are reasonably priced - the coffee tastes exactly like what i'd make myself at home - and best of all, everything about this place is entirely unpretentious. you wouldn't even realize you're in an Austin institution but for the art on the walls and the little bits of local history scattered throughout the café. the baristas are kind and the patrons understanding. if seating is hard to come by, don't be afraid to sidle up to someone and ask if you can share their table. chances are they'll say yes. you might even make a friend. read more

A old-timey coffeehouse off 51st street on the northern edge of Hyde Park. It's a large coffeeshop with both meaningful indoor and outdoor seating which is completely and woefully underserved by the tiny parking lot in front of the coffeeshop. You'll likely have to park down Duvall or 50th street. Despite the large size, Flightpath is a staple around the area and can often be full throughout the day. I went most recently between Thanksgiving and Christmas and there was a flood of both what appeared to be students studying for finals, as well as professionals working from "home". Coffee selection is good, but no matcha options for those who are interested. There is a no-frills ambiance which lends itself well to actual studying and work as opposed to more of a "come to talk about work" type of atmosphere. Closes at 7pm; later night options will probably lead you to Bennu Coffee @ Highland ACC. read more

Strong four stars! The seating is vast and ideal for studying! Can get a bit loud with surrounding noises, but nonetheless gets the job done. The iced Oat Milk latte is about as standard as you can get and isn't astonishing, but is not terrible. Perhaps, I'll try another drink? The service, at the time, was a bit rushed. A few guides led me to Flightpath Coffeehouse in Hyde Park and there's a lot to love. It's a no-frills, spacious cafe with outdoor patio seating and two large dining rooms full of tables (and even a printer!). It's not fancy, but it is inviting. I ordered a latte with macadamia syrup in it. It came out half empty and with very little flavor. It wasn't well brewed. If it hadn't costed as much as a fancy latte, I wouldn't mind, but the price didn't match the quantity or quality. However, this is a great spot to hang out or get some work/studying done. read more

This coffee shop is so misleading that you will be surprised just how much space there is at Flightpath Coffeehouse. This shop is perfect for those long study sessions or work moments. They have food for any appetite since they have a literal wall of snacks, breakfast items, and savory foods including pizza. What I enjoy about Flightpath is that everything is a mod podge of tables and chairs, yet it works together so well. As a non-printer owner (more like two printers missing cords etc. at home lol), I appreciate the ability to print at the coffeeshop. It's such a genius accommodation. The bathrooms are unisex and easy to access. Now parking is a little more intricate like a rubik's cube, but don't let the parking situation deter you. read more

Old Austin coffee shop still has great vibes, good coffee and food. I had the quiche and it was reasonably priced at $5.50. Their iced and hot coffee and the same price, which I love! The service was friendly and chill. They have a large outdoor deck, and there is a separate place for smokers, which I think is quite thoughtful for both smokers and non-smokers alike. The next time I'm in the Hyde Park area, I'll definitely linger for a while. read more

A quaint little shop with a unique style. The coffee is good and the service is excellent! My first time here but it was a fun time. Lots of people stopping by to get a cup of MOJO. The coffeeshop's name is arrived from being located on the flight path of an old airstrip that was just down the street. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors with many people sipping and surfing the internet. The only negative is parking. The parking is extremely limited but there is a few spots available. If you are in the neighborhood stop by and order an expresso and chit chat with the staff. I think you will enjoy your time. read more

Best place to grab a coffee and study. The moment that I entered this coffee shop, I already love the vibes! There are a lot of opening tables at the back and even outdoors. The table they have are descent size and feels like the ones in the library. You can totally spread out all the stuff materials you have and emerge into a good focus session.The environment is nosiy but not loud. Couple people chatting but most of them just had their headphone in and doing their own business. We got there around 9 and dodged the long line that came after. And they have coffee refill. Super cost efficient. Will definitely come back to this place again if I need a place to study. read more

This week, one of my best friends is visiting from California, so we are coffee shop hunting! We both love our coffees, and even more love supporting local coffee shops. Parking: ROUGH. We eventually parked in a nearby neighborhood and walked over, which was not a big deal. We know what to do next time because there will be a next time! Service: sooo sweet! The barista answered alllll of my curious questions. I asked about the coffee shop, the coffee, the pastries & WiFi. She knew her stuff, which is sooooo important to me! We ordered our coffees and then we looked for a place to sit and work. Ambiance: suppperrrrr chill. Good vibes. Every single table was taken but just as our coffee order was in, a couple was leaving their table (YAY). We were able to work for a good hour. Nice quiet study place, and super accessible being in a residential area! Because of covid, only the outside is open to seating but when the weather is nice, it's a pretty nice place to study. A GEM! My sister and I recently discovered this place and wow, I'm upset at myself for not knowing of this coffee shop before. Fair coffee prices and a great place to get work done. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Their New Orleans iced coffee is super delicious! The barista was so nice and I felt very comfortable ordering. Plenty of tables, chairs, and outlets! They have a couple of parking spaces but there is also available (free) street parking. They also have an Amazon locker! read more

Delicious selection of coffees and teas. Reasonably priced too! Cool Bohemian vibe meets neighborhood coffee joint. Plenty of shaded outdoor seating for social distancing. They are very proper in the CV-19 protocol and PPE - so no worries y'all. I really liked their special New Orleans iced coffee. It's a Chickory-flavored coffee with sweetened condensed milk. Yum! I will return to try their pastries and breakfast tacos. read more

Meh. Meh drinks. Meh internet access. They have a small smoking section outside, but the outdoors and the indoors sections of the coffee shop reek of cigarette smoke. The space is surprisingly large and there's room to spread out. Seating doesn't feel crowded, and they have a variety of munchies from Quacks, Taco Deli, and local bagel shops. But everything is prepackaged. They don't even make their own chai. It's from a box. There are better coffee shops in Austin. read more

While exploring the many museums across the University of Texas campus, a quick caffeine break was needed for my girlfriend and we were overwhelmed by the number of options on The Drag. It makes sense that there are plenty of places to choose from because of the large number of UT students. Everyone needs a little coffee in their lives. One of the highest reviewed ones with a large pool of ratings was Lucky Lab Coffee and after checking a few quick reviews, we decided to give it a chance. Lucky Lab has five locations in Austin (four on campus) and one location in Dripping Springs. The one we were at off The Drag was their flagship. This location serves a little bit of everything from sandwiches to pastries, salad to quiche, and of course, coffee. As we walked inside the flagship, it is easy to notice how tight the space is. There is very little seating inside at their bar, but they make up for it with plenty of shaded outdoor space that is perfect for a nice day. Scanning their menu, we landed on some drinks from their winter menu. I was intrigued by their Pomegranate Rosemary Latte while my girlfriend tried their Ginger Spice Mocha. We got them both iced. First, it is interesting to see the fusion of pomegranate and rosemary in a latte. I was intrigued by those flavors. Their drink sizes are 12 oz, 16 oz, and 20 oz, each adding an additional 50 cents to each upgrade. All milk alternatives cost 1 dollar. It was only a short wait to get our coffees and the cup with the little lab on it was cute. I think specialty drinks have an opportunity to be amazing and one of a kind or the worst drink imaginable. This pomegranate rosemary latte did not fall into either category exactly, but leaned more toward the latter. I love pomegranates and I always appreciate how earthy rosemary can be in a coffee. One of my favorite lattes I have ever had has rosemary in it. This was just not working for me. I shamefully did not finish my coffee. As for my girlfriend, she did not like her ginger spice mocha. I could not imagine gingerbread syrup not working in a mocha, but after trying it myself it was not for me either. It seems like a perfect match, but here the gingerbread is competing with the chocolate and instead of complementing each other they clash. She told me that the flavors were "un-mocha like". She drank less than half of her coffee before tossing it as well. Neither of us wanted to dislike Lucky Lab. They seem well established and I felt like they were trustworthy based on reviews, but I wonder what these previous reviewers were tweaking on or what magical concoction of coffee granted from heaven above they were sipping on because we were distraught by how disappointing these drinks were. I would like to give Lucky Lab Coffee Co the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe the specialty drinks were not up to par with their traditional beverages. However, the almost 30 different syrup options on their wall make me feel they lack a little focus and try too hard to stand out. They lose what makes a coffee good, which is coffee. I want to say I will give them a second shot in the future to see if it was just an off day or a bad beverage pick. Too many shots turns a Lucky Lab into Old Yeller. And seriously...taking the "everything's bigger in Texas" slogan and applying them to mozzarella sticks?! top 10 achievements of the decade. The chicken parm was perfect - well seasoned, proper amount of crisp..the basil on top...the perfect browning of the cheese. Also the lasanga was excellent..and best part - the leftovers..took it home and the next two days put them in a small cast iron and re-heated them..and the magic was right there in my hill country kitchen! Lastly and certainly not least - the cannoli...just look at the photo below..
