Beware!! When it comes to delivery and what they promise it just doesn't happen. Two times they were suppose to deliver our refrigerator with other appliances that we ordered and both times they arrived without it. No explanation... Just they are out of stock. After spending 1000K for a Maytag dryer the heat stopped working. with just over 1 year left on a 5 year warranty. After being stood up TWICE from the warranty repair company the tech (who was late) told me that he needed $179 to clean the inside of the unit before he could continue as it was blocking the gas inlet. After I let him know the unit was electric NOT gas he stated the unit was then installed wrong and he needed $179 to clean it still. I asked if I could not use my vacuum OR hand to clean it in a few minutes and I was told ONLY a licensed repair person could do so and he had to shut the machine back up. The 3rd party warranty company has now told me that if anyone other than them opens the unit to clean it the warranty is voided......YET they will not touch the unit until it is clean. So now I am stuck with a non-working dryer. WOW....what a scam at $179 each visit. Be warned, warranties through Pacific Sales are a SCAM! read more

My wife and I walked into this Best Buy location and you could not miss the massive Pacific Sales Kitchen & Home section of the store. There were many display models to touch and feel from stovetops, ovens, fridges, dishwashers, laundry, and installation supplies ranging from basic units to ultra high-end units. We were immediately greeted by Ivy S. We planned to buy an entire house's worth of appliances and Ivy helped us all the way through. She was able to help us compare appliances, printed specs, inform us of modifications or electrical upgrades required, and made recommendations according to our requirements/preferences. She really knew her stuff. We ended up purchasing an induction cooktop, double convection oven, dishwasher, range hood, refrigerator, and laundry machines. Ivy met her commitments and worked a bundled deal with us with better financing than we expected. Ivy was very professional, energetic, passionate about appliances, and extremely helpful. She made what would've been a daunting process very easy and even fun! We walked into the store at 4pm and walked out with a receipt at 6pm with everything we were looking for. Great store, great service, great selection. Delivery came as promised, 2 hours early. If ZERO stars were an option, Best Buy / Pacific Sales / GE would be getting just that. Ordered a GE refrigerator 9/18/17 & scheduled delivery for 9/23/17. Bought 4 blocks of ice & got 2 ice chest, moved everything out of the old refrigerator, new one arrived...with black scuffs & scratches (as notes by delivery drivers & pictures). Tried to call BB / PS but was told nothing could be done until the following day because their system sees it as "out for delivery". Spoke with "Jason" and was told I could come to the store in person 9/24/17 and re-order. Drove to the store on 9/24/17 & "Jason" wasn't there & nobody had a clue what I was talking about. After rehashing this entire episode, they tried to order another but said it wouldn't be available for delivery until 11/11/17. I requested they load two units or open the box before delivery to ensure it wasn't damaged again & was told they couldn't do that. I also asked for some type of compensation for the inconvenience, they did credit me a small amount. Called GE consumer affairs on 9/25/17 and was told it would be available in 3-4 weeks, 2 weeks later and said it was in the warehouse awaiting delivery, yet no updated delivery from BB / PS. I called BB / PS 10/31/17 to confirm my upcoming delivery & again asked about sending 2 units or at least checking the condition of the one they were going to deliver & again was told they can't do that. 11/11/17 got ice & ice chests again, moved all of our food & again, a damaged unit was delivered, black scuffs and a dent on the top right side of the unit. Worse than the one I have in my kitchen now. Called BB / PS and the recording said 38 minute wait time to speak to someone. Got in my car and drove to BB / PS and once again was told nothing could be done for 24 hours, but not to worry, someone would contact me at 11 am 11/12/17 when they opened to save me from driving over there again. Waited until 12:15 pm 11/12/17, nobody had called, so I called, spoke with "Christian" and asked to speak with a manger. I was told "Tim" just arrived but was in the middle of something and would call me back shortly. 2 pm now and still no call back from "Tim". I took pictures of both units that were delivered in the event they'd like to see the damage. I really think BB / PS is trying to wear us down, hoping we'll just keep this one since it's such a hassle to go through this a third time. I'll update this review if and when someone with BB / PS makes good on their products, until then, avoid these guys & GE appliances altogether. Worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. If I wanted "scratch & dent" I would have gone to an outlet store. ***Update*** After a couple of days and many hours on the phone with multiple BB / PS employees, we were given additional money back and we're done with this whole thing. We can't fathom having to move everything in & out of the refrigerator to ice chest a 3rd time so I got some car polish and was able to remove a couple of the scuffs, one scratch on the left door above the ice maker remains, hung a calendar over it. read more

Even though we were ready to buy and were just starting the process, he walked around with us and answered our questions and gave recommendations. An excellent selection and range of prices! I went in to buy a replacement built in microwave oven for a rental property. Tim helped me, and immediately grasped that for a rental, I wanted an inexpensive but durable unit. He showed me a selection that would fit in my existing space, at reasonable prices. He didn't try to upsell or steer me into more expensive models, which I appreciated. While in the store, a staff member came by with a tray of freshly home-made chocolate mousses in a cup- very nice touch (and delicious). I had very little wait time when I first arrived, as Tim was finishing up with other clients. I was greeted by several staff, and everyone there was pleasant. Selection made, check out was quick and efficient. The only drawback (but I can understand if they've been burned by bounced checks) was that I wanted to write a check, but in that case delivery & installation would have been delayed by 5 days. I put it on a credit card instead. I was in and out with purchase made in 45 minutes, which included a lot of one-on-one help deciding on the final model. All in all, a very professional, friendly experience. read more

Years age I bought all of my appliances from Pacific Sales. Everything was great from the sales people to delivery and installation. I will never buy anything from them again. Recently bought a dishwasher. Finally delivered after 2 weeks. I received multiple deliver dates. They blamed everyone from the warehouse, inaccurate inventory and even the installation company. Emailed to Pacific Sales went unanswered. Don't even bother going there. read more

Bought a wine fridge which was delivered June 1, the kick plate was received damaged. We contacted the store who said they would order a replacement. Nothing happened. After several more calls they sent the replacement part and said someone would be in touch to schedule installation. Nothing happened - more follow up calls. To cut a long story short as of today, Sept 7, the thing still hasn't been installed and the store told us to call the manufacturer, who knows nothing about it. The store should be taking responsibility for figuring this out, not keep giving is the run-around - grrrrrr!!! read more

Clearly this an ongoing trend here based on reviews...the customer service here is awful. I bought a convection microwave and was told by the sales associate that it could be installed in a cabinet island but failed the mentioned it needed 8 inches of airspace for ventilation. It has been 37 days since the purchase(7 days pass Best Buy return policy)and tried to return it since I could not use the product and they wouldn't let me. My house cabinet caught fire and there was no compassion whatsoever. The "manager" tim something blamed it on me and Samsung and said they would give me the same information again. He was basically being a jerk for the sake of being a jerk. The associate was very nice and seemed like he wanted to take my return but the "manager" was the one who jumped in and said no. I told him he was acting like an ass but he was. Pacific sales and Best Buy need to re-evaluate their customer service and management and those representing their brand. I filed a formal complaint at the better business bureau and pacific sales. read more

I bought the washer and frigidaire for more than 1 year and also bought the guarantee plan in 5 years. However, we got mad many times from the installation service to guarantee service. When I bought the items, the staffs told me that they would cover for all problems that happen to my washer and frigidaire, offered me many good options, but when I called them to fix it, they asked me to pay $85 for service, no matter what happen to my washer. They told me that there are some problems that the guarantee plan would cover and some do not. But how can they know what the problem is if they do not come to my house, because each time they come to my house, I have to pay them $85 first. OMG. And once time, the technician came to my house and stayed no more than 15 mins, he cleaned something at the bottom, then told me to pay $85 for the fee. It is totally unfair, I felt like I bought the guarantee plan for nothing and it made me so upset about the customer service. read more

I have never experienced such horrible customer service from a delivery department! We purchased a new set of Samsung washer, dryer, and pedestals on the day before Thanksgiving. The delivery process has been a total nightmare. We have now scheduled 3 separate 4-hour delivery windows, and our pedestals have yet to be delivered. Not only do the deliveries not arrive, they don't even have the common courtesy to call to inform us that they do not have the items in the warehouse! Yesterday we waited over 12 hours, and every time we called the company they assured us that a third party delivery service was on the way. Needless to say, they never arrived. OK.. Yelpers are right. Jason rocks! I went into Pacific Sales to check out appliances, fully intending to go home and price check them online at www.abt and others which are all good. But, Jason rocked the house. He knows his appliances, knows the best bang for the buck and all the differences between the models making sorting through piles and piles of choices easy. He also found two of the appliances I bought on sale for less at best buy and price matched them for me and I didn't even know to ask him to do it! I dealt with a couple of other salespeople there and one of them told me he was too busy to help me. Why does someone else rate more than I do after I waited for help on a busy weekend for over 45 minutes. Jason took great care of me.. treated me as if I was his only customer.. and he isn't commissioned. He's simply an over the top amazing sales rep who knows his product line and gives exceptional customer service. Pacific Sales is the place to go because of Jason first of all. Prices are good but the data entry for the sale/delivery was inaccurate for both the initial sale and the subsequent "corrected" sale. I ordered a white Whirlpool washer/dryer set and they delivered a white washer with a grey dryer because the salesperson gave the wrong model number to the person entering the order. No employee along the line from the data entry person to the truck loader to the delivery people questioned why anyone would want a matching washer/dryer with the washer white and the dryer grey. When I returned to the store to have the mistake corrected, the sales person who helped me didn't apologize and the person entering the corrected order entered the wrong address for delivery. The employees need to be accurate with model numbers and delivery information, and there should be some mechanism for troubleshooting for errors when something as blatant as mismatched colors comes up. read more

Purchased Whirlpool washer and steam dryer at the Pacific Sales in Irvine. Installation was very bad. Paid for stainless steel hoses which is required for free delivery. They didn't have the correct hoses, because their paperwork must not have indicated "the steam" element and need for hose there too. We called P.S. and they had a proper hose delivered, but delivery guy wasn't given permission to install it, they told him no. They said they have made enough trips to our home and he was told to leave. Long story, but end is that we had water leaking slowly from wrong hoses and it ruined our solid wood kitchen floors. The company claims no responsibly even though their own repair guys have reported that the installation was wrong, threads stripped, and that we should be given a new machine and a new floor. Worse customer service ever in my 44 years of appliance purchasing. I have paid in full, does that matter? Obviously not. Now I have a beautiful but ruined "floating" wood floor and they couldn't care less. read more
