I never thought I'd be leaving a review for Home Depot but here we are! I just had to go out of my way to do this. Out of all the Home Depot's I've been to in SoCal, this one had exceptional customer service. As someone who worked in retail management for over 10 years, whenever is running this location is doing something right. Greeted multiple times throughout the store, when I asked for help the employee got what I needed down right away. Cashier helped me check out (it's funny because this is rare nowadays) And even after I loaded my stuff I my car a staff member promptly got my oversized cart. This is one of the biggest Home Depots I've been to in the area - but despite all that - parking is easy to find, service is great! I stopped by to pick up some wasp killer and insect protection - was browsing their vast selection of different brands and types, when a HD associate stopped by and asked if I had questions. He helped navigate through the different kinds of products they had - shared what worked for him - and also added that it's important I spray the nest after the sun goes down since wasps are less active/less likely to retaliate. Despite coming here on a Saturday, the place was relatively empty and it was easy to browse throughout the store. Prices are competitive as always - which is appreciated. My CC was offering a 5% cashback bonus for shopping here this quarter, so that's why I picked a Home Depot instead of say, Target - for insecticide. Check-out was a breeze - they have four self-checkout stations, with a friendly clerk readily available to assist if needed. read more

I'm very disappointed with my experience at this location. Me and my partner frequently shop at this Home Depot, but today was a more hostile experience. My partner was browsing the inside of the store while I was browsing through the garden center. I had picked up some seeds and my partner met up with me in the garden center and decided he didn't need two of the things he picked out so he left them there, in the garden center. Since we were in the garden center we decided to checkout right there. As we exited, a short light skin lady with short dark hair stops us and immediately starts accusing my partner of stealing. She was not professional at all, did not believe my partner when he said he left the stuff in the garden center, and then tried lecturing him all while still being very condescending and hostile to the point where my partner even emptied his pockets. I called her out for her colorism and racism considering all the other white shoppers weren't given a hard time like how we were. She seemed offended when I called her out since she said she was Hispanic but Hispanics can be racist against other Hispanics so there's no excuse for how she handled this. Not once did she apologize or acknowledge she was wrong. It's just very disappointing considering it's not a crime to leave a product in a different section of the store and because of that, my partner was accused of stealing. We used to shop here often, but obviously we will take our business elsewhere. We immediately went to go return our purchase after this unacceptable interaction. WOW. JUST WOW! Buying a large appliance is stressful. We haven't purchased a refrigerator in 17 years and last Tuesday was the day. After doing ALL my research, taking dimensions, color choices etc., I went to a couple of big box stores and even called a manufacturer. (Ms) Pady @Home Depot was a game changer. Pady is a low-key "can do" type. When I told her what I was looking for was not available in the color I wanted she said, "Of course it is," and proceeded to look it up on the computer. She was right. They carried what I was looking for but not on display. She took as much time as I needed and even though I didn't purchase that day, when we parted she turned to me and said, "Remember, we're here for you." That meant so much to me given the current environment in which we live. Very few know the meaning of customer service, but Pady does. I called Pady the next day and she took my order over the phone giving me tips and hints about delivery. No upsell on the extended warranty but when she offered it I purchased it. Delivery day. Ulysses and Francisco showed up promptly at 8:30. Best delivery guys EVER! I was SO nervous, but their expertise and sense of humor really helped. During delivery I did call Pady for some assurance, and she gave it to me - Before hanging up she said, "We're still here for you Joan." I couldn't have asked for a better experience all the way around. Thank you Pady for being a great professional help and encourager. I was falsely accused of stealing by some short white lady from the lost prevention. Instead of coming up to me asking me nicely where I had left the stuff, she just immediately accused me of stealing, aggressively telling me where I left the stuff I stole. I told her where I had left the stuff and she still kept telling me things being unprofessional and called me names. I have a right to change my mind and leave the stuff in a different section. I genuinely felt like the lady was being racist to me and we called her out, she proceeded to argue and yell at me and my girlfriend about it. This lady was shorter 5ft, on the chunkier side, jeans, was super unprofessional about the situation and could've handled herself to a more professional manner. NO ONE PICKS UP THE DAMN PHONE WHEN I KEEP CALLING FOR HOURS. There was a man who was completely sexiest. This guy is acting like I'm stupid saying there's no such thing as an adapter to my gas pipe to my gas line for the dryer I bought. He said to take off the whole gas valve and replace it and he was Telling me I'm wrong and I'm dumb and asked if there was a man at home who could look at it and make sure they know what they're doing. I showed him a picture of the adapter piece and he said "that's not real. I know what I'm talking about". Scam Alert!! Don't use your Home Depot Cc here. Back in October I visited this shop to purchase Halloween lights. September I got a call from Home Depot cc services asking me if I made a purchase for $495 for Framing Nailer Kit. I thanked them for calling to confirm and let them know that I'm at work and the cc is physically with me. It's a fraudulent charge. They did the right thing by removing the charge and issued me a new cc that was mailed to me. Nearly 3 months later I got a statement showing the charge is back on my account. I called multiple times and they said based on their investigation they can't remove the charge because the cc was used with the chip. Again I had the cc with me and didn't make this purchase. I visited the shop to see if they can pull up camera footage so they can confirm it wasn't me. But unfortunately they were no help at the store. The staff at the store also shared with me that these things happen often with scammers placing devices to steal cc info. I will be taking further action for stress, time wasted and identity theft. read more

The only reason why there's 5 stars is because of Greg from the Lumber department. I had spent quite a bit of time picking out wood I wanted to be cut down and brought home for a project only to then find out that their machine was down. I was ignored by two gentlemen who worked in the department while they saw me wait and stare at them from the Cutting Station. Another customer had been waiting as well who told me he was told to wait there by one of the associates which is why I didn't bother approaching them. That customer finally got frustrated because apparently he had been waiting a long time so he waltzed to Customer Service to complain. One of the associates finally approached me and explained to me that the machine is down and acknowledged that he noticed I had been waiting quite a while. I was determined to leave with supplies for my project so I eventually walked over to the aisle with moldings to hand saw my pieces home. That's when Greg appeared. He first came by, saw me, but was in the middle of collecting an order (A huge load of faux brick wall sheets) and then left me. I figured with my luck, he wouldn't come back, but he did! He asked if he could take over and oh my word --- my knight in an orange apron! Greg is the main reason I am giving 5 stars. I really appreciate it! I then walked into the garden area and a super helpful lady helped me (I think her name was Priscilla) and then she and directed me to where I might find it, I then came across Edgar and Jonathon who when I told them what I was looking for they took a shopping cart and loaded up a bag. They told me to let Pricilla know to ask for help to my car and then Benjamin helped me load my car up.
