Years ago, we had a very quick and straightforward experience of purchasing a laptop here. Then, during the pandemic, when the supply chain was severely disrupted, both our washer and drier gave up the ghost. That meant long waiting periods from all the major shops, and zero availability from the smaller stores. So when Best Buy told us they had the pair of appliances in stock, we decided to take the chance with the. The price advertised was in line with the other dealers, and they promised that they would "hold" the machines for us. Unfortunately, when we showed up with our truck to pick up the items they said they were not available. They kept saying that they would "get them in" right away, and we should wait for their text. That never came, and we ended up getting what we needed at Howard's. I don't blame the staff there, as it seems like they depend on faulty software and understaffing. Corporate clearly cares little about customer attention, let alone customer service. read more

I am absolutely disappointed with this specific location. My PREGNANT wife and I bought a tv, drove home 5 miles unpackaged it and noticed there was a large crack at the top of the screen. We immediately packaged the tv back up and came back within the hour of our purchase. the manager named EDWIN and geek squad team member immediately put the blame on us saying we caused the damage. Along with they wouldn't give us our money back but they would deliver it to us with in 5 days rather then just replacing the purchase and let my PREGNANT wife and I leave with a tv. Horrible customer service. Purchased a Ring doorbell and camera. Had it installed by Geek Squad about one year ago. It was hardwired meaning it runs on electricity, not battery, and does not need to be charged. All of a sudden Ring starts saying "low battery" and will not show camera images. I call Geek Squad, they have a policy of not guaranteeing any installation past 90 days. Wanted to charge me an installation fee for a second time of $150 even though the issue is on them. I spent over 2K with them, the microwave and the fridge would not power on. The range looked as if it fell off the truck and was all dented up, not how it looked in the store. I don't know why they're many bad reviews about this place, but today was my first day here and I had a great experience! First of all, I came here to inquire about a laptop that is made to support a physics/engineering major. I was between a Surface Laptop and a MacBook. I got help from Connor and another employee. They were both very nice and patient and explained to be the differences of both and what they capabilities are as in RAM and processor. I wasn't aware that Microsoft released a Surface Book and I learnt that it was one of the best laptops in durability and power. The outside is built with magnesium and the screen has gorilla glass and basically indestructible. They also show me some cool ways to use it. I also asked for some more budget friendly laptops since that one is about $2,000 that emulate as best as it can to the surface book and they accommodated and helped me as best to their ability. If you're looking for a best laptop to suit your needs, then this is the one to go! read more

Best Buy can't handle the action. They suckered me in for a $200 service contract; they didn't show up for the first in-home appointment with 12 GEEK Squad trucks in the parking lot and a 12-hour window! So, I brought the PC to them as they couldn't schedule a 2nd attempt at in-home for another 2 weeks, and they kept my PC for over a week. It was worse than before I brought it in, as they disabled an HDMI port and messed up some of the MS software. They will no doubt go the way of Blockbusters and Radio Shack as this whole operation is a top-down disaster. read more

I was in a pinch and needed a clothes dryer. Don't make the same mistake I did- go to HD where they give military and veterans a discount. Got a dryer, a Best Buy credit card and a curling iron. 2 weeks and 3 days later when I returned the curling iron I was given store credit because I was past the 2 week return policy. So I rolled my eyes at Omar the manager because your return policy sucks. Omar was offended and acted like I owe him something for the store credit (as he could have done nothing). I read the reviews here and realized I am not alone with my assessment of this store. The rating for this store is 2.5, including the 1 star that Yelp gives all listed venues. This store doesn't care about service, whats the point of having this store for customers? It's mismanaged and carefree. Such a blatant disrespect to Best Buy and people like me who roamed Best Buy stores growing up. Upon returning home, I opened the box and noticed there was no remote control included. I returned the TV at this store. Afterwards, I wanted to discuss with employee to see if they can help me get a replacement. But employees were standing in groups talking to each other like an organized football huddle. Walked by two employee huddles who didn't seem approachable. Walked to a third employee-circled huddle and was able to speak to one of them by interrupting their conversation. I explained that I purchased an "open box" TV online and picked it up here. The product was described as "satisfactory" online. (See photo) Employee said, "Sorry , we aren't able to do that. What ever comes in the box, is what comes in the box. We aren't able to ship you another one from another store. Best Buy is not able to ship something like this because they are so busy. An open box means it may not have all parts. Sorry to say I am very disappointed. I have had good experiences. Until now. I needed to use the insurance I'd purchased along with my laptop. Staff in the store were, as always, efficient and helpful. But three weeks and I get calls to tell me the parts needed to repair my computer are on back order, still, and there is no ETA . If the parts are not in in two weeks (meaning 5 weeks total), the company will replace the machine. I am dependent on my computer for work. Much is stored on there. Im afraid this will be my last purchase with Best Buy. And I do not think business is so booming that the company can provide such poor customer service that good customers like me will go elsewhere. Poor Company! I ordered my AirPod 2nd Generation today. I called Westminster they said: We don't have it but Anaheim have 2. If you place your order now we can make it ready for you to pick up today (Friday September 23) before 8pm. On the phone I told them that I have Bestbuy Gift card and want to use it. Bestbuy: Sure. No problem and they send me a link for payment I click on the link, the system asked my CC. I still have the Bestbuy lady on the phone and she advised me how to do. Me: I don't want to use my CC, I want to use my Gift Card. Bestbuy: Please just follow my advice. So I did.... I filled out my CC... I asked Bestbuy: I have now only one option to "CONFIRM THE PURCHASE " Bestbuy: ok, just click on the button Me: Mam, you know that I want to pay with my Gift Card and not with my CC Bestbuy: I know, just click and confirm and you will see the next page. ... so I did...
