Today went to get oil changed and I was suspicious they didn't change the filter. When I got home I checked, it was an old filter. Had old oil smudges and dirt. I went back up to get it changed. He crawled under the truck and said it was changed he just didn't wipe it off. . Wipe off dirt and old oil smudges from a new filter??? Asked if I wanted to change it again. I said no, I want you to change for what I paid for originally and you didn't do. I pulled in, three went below the truck in the bay. Stayed down there for a few minutes, came back up and said he changed it and showed me a filter that didn't even belong on my truck. I asked if he was going to add oil.. said he didn't lose any.... His commitment to that story is really impressive. He and the cohorts who supported his dishonesty are a threat to the business and its clients. Had seen reviews and Essy seemed widely respected. Gave him a call. He answered and I asked if he could fit me in. He apologized that he couldn't because he was at his daughter's graduation that day but that if I called back Monday he'd see if he could fit me in. I ultimately found another shop nearby that also had good reviews with immediate availability and it was a good experience, but just wanted to say how much I admired Essy answering my call. I felt like he did in case it was an emergency repair situation (it obviously wasn't), which definitely reflects what his customers say about him. And to apologize about his availability bc he was attending a major event for his loved one... being gracious and generous is definitely in his nature. So just wanted to share that :-)

I went in to get an oil change and a second opinion on $4,000 worth of repairs I was quoted from another mechanic. He checked everything and said there wasn't any issues. He had the chance to upsell me and he didn't. Not only am I grateful for his honesty, the customer service was fantastic, the waiting room was nice, and the price for the oil change was very reasonable. He definitely made a recurring customer today!
