Pulled up, they scanned my car and a warning message popped up saying that my car had a 1.4L engine and to make sure the right filter was used. None of them knew what to do. They called their boss, he didn't know what to do. I called the dealership I bought my car from and the guy said it just means they need to make sure they use the correct filter. Well, they refused to touch my car. Wasted 45 minutes of my morning and now I still need my oil changed. Spend the money you'd save here for people who know what they're doing. The guy also parks his own car in one of the bays so they only take one customer at a time. read more

Went for an oil change on Saturday, drove home and parked in my garage. Sunday morning when I went to leave I heard scraping as I was backing out. Looked under my car and my skid plate was dragging on the ground. I located the bolt that was clearly not installed correctly laying on the garage floor and took it in to have them reinstall it Monday morning. When I arrived I got no apology and was told by the manager it wasn't their fault. Ridiculously unprofessional on both trips. I will never be back. read more

TAKE 5 OIL CHANGE IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH OIL CHANGES. The shop did not sufficiently re-tighten the oil drain plug, but the oil pan did not start leaking right away. 3 months later, I noticed oil on my garage floor. I never dreamed it was a loose oil drain plug. Since my car had 93,000+ miles on it, I thought my engine gaskets were leaking, so I took it to my Mazda dealer. After waiting about 2 hours, the Mazda technician said that the oil drain plug was loose. He replaced the missing oil and properly tightened the oil drain plug. I took my Mazda back to the TAKE 5 OIL CHANGE shop and asked for a refund for the defective service and my lost time and money. The shop manager refused saying that I should have taken my car to his shop first. I tried to explain that I never imagined that the leak was from an oil plug that his shop should have tightened. He still refused. I asked for the identity of the owner and contact information and he refused saying he was not allowed to give out that information. POINT OF ALL THIS: DO NOT ALLOW TAKE 5 OIL CHANGE TO TOUCH YOUR CAR UNLESS AND UNTIL THEY GIVE YOU THE OWNER'S NAME AND CONTACT INFORMATION. The only way in this state to get that information is to do a complicated and time-consuming public records request. CAVEAT EMPTOR !!! read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! I have never once written a review in my life but I had to for the experience I had here. This was my first time going to a quick oil change place. Everything seemed totally okay leaving & I was super happy. A couple days later my car breaks down on the highway. Please note my car is from 2018 with very little miles on it. After towing & taking the car in I find out the drain plug was never put back on. I was rightfully upset since my engine was now useless because someone couldn't do the one job they were hired for. I reached out Take 5 to have them cover the cost of my new engine since it was due to them not being thorough. They ignored me for weeks & said someone would reach out. No one ever did. I tried to take legal action & even the people we hired could not contact them. Little did we know this exact thing has happened multiple times from this company. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!! This oil change will cost you thousands. Horrible experience & horrible people. read more

went to this location to get an oil change. When I pulled in, there were 6 options of oil to choose from. Even though there were 6 choices, I was told they only had the top 4 available. And wouldn't you know, they were the most expensive. I went ahead with the $69 oil change. It took about 5 minutes and they said they were done. I left and looked at the checklist where everything was checked that they did, however, I know for a fact they didn't do what was on the checklist (coolant, tire check, etc). To me, this seems like a bait and switch place. And what tops it off is that I tried using the coupon from their website and they said it wasn't working. After this bad experience, I contacted their customer service number and website to where I was directed to an email. I left an email of my frustrations and asked for someone to contact me and no one did. I would highly recommend staying away from this place. Their prices are extremely high, they bait you into something more expensive and they don't complete the tasks they say they do. read more

Competitive pricing and excellent customer service. Shortly after I parked, an attendant ran over with a cold bottle of water and greeted me, then answered all my questions on pricing. The wait was reasonable, the service was quick, the pricing was fair, and the facilities were clean. My attendant took the time to explain things to me and offer recommendations on parts and services, but was not pushy and did not try to rush me into any decisions.
