Flavorful and decent tacos compared to some in the Dallas area. The place is pretty clean, bright and welcoming. You are able to self serve your meals with grilled onions and a variety of salsas which I love. I ordered both pollo and carne asada tacos. With all of my toppings and a generous squeeze of lime, everything was a perfect bite from acidity, spiciness and smokiness. If you're in the area, I would recommend. 4 tacos ran me about $13 so a little pricey. The parking lot adjacent to the building is pretty tight making it hard to back in or come out if there are multiple cars. Your best bet is street parking and walking up to the restaurant.

    GAONERA RIB-EYE - phenomenal! (November, 2025)

Fabulous Mexico City Street Tacos and Quesadillas: wonderful blue corn and flour tortillas wrapped around an abundance of delicious fillings, including their "Asada", "Pastor", and "GAONERA DE RIB-EYE"! Bright and Cheerful Interior: plenty of seating; an inviting salsa bar; open kitchen; lively music; fun bar with soccer games televised; busy it is at lunchtime, quiet it is at night! Warm and Friendly Service: patient counter service; when dining in, freshly made, piping hot orders delivered to table, and impressed of their service of clearing the table when done; with takeout, well packaged yet do double check order before leaving, for I had experienced having 3 tacos missing when I arrived home! CHEERS!

    Carne asada taco

My husband and I were in the mood for tacos tonight and decided to go to Tacos Juancho. The tacos are usually pretty good and very well served, well this time they were not. We placed an order for carry out and the tacos were supposed to be ready within 10 minutes. We got there and were asked to wait for 5 minutes. It ended up being 10 minutes... We get home and the amount of meat in our tacos, was 1/2 of what it usually is when we eat at the taqueria. We liked the ambience in the taqueria and service is always good, but ordering for carry out was quite disappointing tonight.

AMAZING place with GREAT TACOS and the atmosphere is very inviting! Ribeye tacos were ON POINT! Very tender and had lots of flavor. The asada tacos had flavor and everything just feels home made and fresh! Awesome salsa bar with mild to really hot options. Tons of open seating and cool bar to watch games. Good spot to come and go or have a few drinks with friends! Service was amazing! Someone came around and picked our plates up and all of our questions were answered at the register!

Tacos and quesadillas oh my! The tacos were on the most delicious steamed corn tortillas and the quesadilla was on large blue corn tortilla. Tired the pastor, asada, and barbacoa. The bbq was the best I've had in Dallas! Y'all don't sleep on these tacos.

The sweetest team I've ever met. Yall if you are in Oak Lawn, this new stretch taco spot is adorable! The interior is fin and playful, the staff are funny kind and welcoming and the food...HOLY GUACAMOLE I could eat a VAT of it. They serve tacos street style with all the sides ans have some Bomb salsa to try out too. If you like Jarritos bottled drinks you will fall in love. TONS of flavors to pick from. And oh yeat its open concept with street seating and a FULL BAR! Im going back for a margaritas tomorrow agter work and I cannot wait! Please go visit these folks. You wont be disappointed!!!

This place on oak lawn is so good! The atmosphere is pretty chill, probably gets more of a late night crowd, but during lunch all was calm. The staff were super nice and helpful. Finally, the food was good! Reminded me a lot of food I had in Mexico City. Be sure to stop by!

Primera vez aquí estoy super fascinada con la comida los tacos de asada super! , especialmente la Paloma que preparó Oliver! La bartender/cajera Mayra muy buena onda, nos sentimos muy bienvenidos. Volveremos :)

When it comes to tacos, Tacos Juancho does not disappoint. On my plate I was able to try the Suadero and Carne Asada.. Now, the Saudero was just like I expected it to be.. fatty and meat together just tastes amazing. The Carnes Asada also has great flavor. They have only been open for a week so make sure you stop by and give them a try. One thing I do recommend them to have is diet option sodas.. I know by fact that they will be asking for diet options.. Great Music and the place is nice and clean. Will definitely be back!!

Sautéed onions and three sauces progressively hotter

It was my first time to come into this restaurant. I need a little snack and it delivered. I got the Al pastor taco which is pork roasted on a spit topped with pineapple and onions and cilantro. Very tasty!!! They also have a full bar there's a variety of homemade salsas all made in house, I like spicy so the salsa juancho really delivered. I had a michelada and added a shot of vodka...it's just my variation will be

    $28.00. not worth it

Meh! Went for lunch with a coworker, my treat! He ordered 2 asada tacos with onions and a side of guacamole. A bottle water to drink. I ordered 2 barbacoa and a topo chico. Order went back for onions and guacamole was forgotten. Salsas are set up in front of the pick up window. no cover just bowls sitting out in the open for you to help yourself. i have included a picture. Yes get your salsa along with every germ in the dining room. Pricing is awful 4 tacos 1 small guac and 2 waters. $28.00. They do not offer a tea or lemonade if you request a sugar free bev. its diet coke or water plus they have that trick of including a tip screen in order to move forward with payment. Not sure why they need a tip, no service was extended. I will not return, its just not that good for the cost.

I'll skip the pastor and chicken quesadilla next time, and try and get the birria tacos if I'm there on a Sunday. I didn't get a picture of churros but they were the best I've ever had. Crunchy and flavorful. Service was fast, but the calling of your name (to pick up the order) is super low. I don't know how my friend heard our name. Ambiance is loud, but I was also there during the Mexico WC game, so that's understandable. The place was lively and fun.

There are multiple locations in DFW, and this review is for the Chilangos in Dallas off of Ross. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The two Chilangos locations I've been to are both located in strip malls with a bright, neon "Chilangos Tacos" sign above the entrance. Inside, there's reggaeton music, tons of patrons, and ESL here. Once you place your order, grab a Jarritos, a bright red metal seat, and watch the staff cook your tacos to order. 1 Star. Service - The staff are very friendly and efficient. It really helps if you speak Spanish, so go with someone who does, or point to the menu item you want. Once you place your order, grab a seat and wait for your name to be called. The staff is super nice and efficient, and our order was available in about 5 min. 1 Star. Food - Birria Quesatacos with consume. Memorize it and order it. Kudos to my son who swears by this dish. I am now a believer. The tender seasoned shredded birria beef is so flavorful. The quesataco style melts the cheese into the corn tortilla. And when you take some diced onion and cilantro to top it, dunk it in the consume before biting into the most flavorful taco served in DFW. According to the menu, this dish is only available on the weekend, but I've used food deliver services to get my consume fix during the week so YMMV. Bottom line, it's not just the best item on the menu, it's the best taco bite in all of DFW. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Chilango Tacos is expanding in DFW. There are now multiple locations in all of DFW so there should be a location near you. Chilangos Tacos is now in my weekly rotation. 1 Star.

The surrounding neighborhood, however, was a pleasant surprise. It's a trendy, energetic pocket of Dallas that I had somehow never explored before, and it immediately caught my attention. The restaurant itself is quite unassuming. If I'm being honest, it didn't exactly scream "come on in." On this particular night, there was only one employee working. It took nearly 10 minutes just to place my order and another 15 minutes before the food arrived. By that point, I was more than a little annoyed. Then the tacos showed up. Talk about a complete plot twist. Not only was everything beautifully presented, but the flavors were absolutely unbelievable. Whenever I visit a taco spot, I like to order a variety so I can get a sense of what they're really capable of. This time it was the al pastor, carne asada, and Baja tacos. One word....incredible. I can't tell you which one was best! I've had great tacos before. I've had places nail one or two selections. But I honestly can't remember the last time three completely different tacos all delivered a perfect punch in a single sitting. Every bite was packed with flavor, expertly balanced, and memorable in its own way. Without question, this was the best taco trio I've ever had. What a roller coaster of a visit. I went from feeling completely ignored and wondering if I'd made a mistake, to wanting to walk back into the kitchen and hug the chef. Sometimes great food doesn't just redeem an experience--it completely rewrites it. The Taco stand is GOATED
