I went just the other day and got some amazing drinks and their OG Acai bowl was amazing!! I got a birthday present for my bestie and a sweater for myself and she was so nice to give me a discount. I didn't catch the ladies name but she had blonde and brown hair and had a lot of awesome pins on her apron. It was an amazing experience and I will remember it fondly. I will definitely be going back to that location next time I'm in Phoenix. Thank you so much for such amazing products and great people. The people really made it the greatest experience. I know that people in customer service work so hard and aren't appreciated nearly enough so thank you so much for making this experience so enjoyable. This place is beautiful! The attention to detail in the design is incredible, down to the cabinet knobs are 'honeycomb' shaped. The staff were very friendly and we were greeted immediately upon arrival. We ordered the new Cucumber Mate Lemonade and three açaí bowls with almond butter. Good vibes, but pricey! I really wanted to love Better Buzz, the space is super cute and the vibes are great since everything is new and stylish. The coffee was good, but with so many amazing local coffee spots around, it didn't quite stand out to me. Prices are definitely on the higher side, which made it feel less worth it overall. The staff was friendly, though I did notice a strong push to upsell with every order. One small but surprising thing, no ketchup available, which was a letdown for someone like me who loves it with an egg sandwich. Parking and access can also be a bit tricky with how busy the area is. It's worth trying once, but there are other spots I'd choose first next time. read more

So excited that our favorite coffee shop has migrated to AZ. We visited this stand in the mid morning during the weekend and even during a rush, the staff was incredibly kind and expeditious with taking our orders and any modifications we needed! Customer service was excellent and all of the crew we encountered were positive and courteous. Our drinks came out as quick as possible and tasted just as good as we remembered. Good matcha but the slowest most incompetent service around! There could be no one else in the entire building who is ordering and they take 3 business days to start and finish your drink! Needed a new coffee spot so decided to try this place out. They have a drink that's called the best coffee ever I believe and it is my favorite. Also, the cinnamon cold foam cold brew is amazing as well. They are avocado toast with feta and tomatoes is very good. I was so excited to see they opened a location close to me since I have only ever ordered from their Phoenix location close to work. I stopped at the Avondale location and I waited for 20 mins for 2 drinks and an avocado toast with only 2 cars infront of me. Needless to say I ended up cancelling my toast because it still wasn't ready after 20 mins and I needed to be to work. When I received my drinks I noticed they didn't look the same as they do when I order them from the Phoenix location or from the app. I ordered the prickly on pink mojito. It was not pink it tasted like straight Red Bull. High disappointment and will not be returning to this location. I did end up ordering the same drink from the location in Phoenix to my job and needless to say they look and taste completely different. read more

I visited Better Buzz today at this location and asked for a regular coconut macha and a separate cup of ice. As such, I paid the full regular expected price. So I'm confused as to why my matcha was filled up to about 70% and not to the top like at other locations. It is absolutely ridiculous to hand someone a cup barely over half full when you know d*mn well I paid for the full cup. I thought I finally found it , my daily coffee and breakfast place , they had gluten free bread options and I was SO excited. I order my food and coffee then head on over. I go to the speaker tell them I'm picking up my order .... Nothing is said just to come up to the window . They hand me my drinks and food .... The bread looks suspiciously just like a Chibata ... then a note on it " out of gf" . Why would you still serve someone a meal that they specifically chose a non allergen item ? Thank god I saw this tiny note .... If my child ate this we would be hospitalized! Please educate your staff on allergies , I promise no one chooses gluten free bread because it's delicious. Simply telling me at the window and giving the option of making it with normal bread or refunding me would be enough , at that point I would have said no thank you. They usually are consistent with drinks but lately they have been messing up orders. Today (07-18) in the afternoon we had asked for a honey latte with raspberry cold foam and they had messed up the two first drinks and by the third it was frustrating asking them to simply add raspberries to the top. read more

Staff is always so friendly. Lately I feel there has been a disconnect when I come through. I tried the lobby for the first time and staff inside gave the vibes like they couldn't have been bothered. I thought it was an off day so I gave some grace. I went through the drive thru today and several days after the lobby experience and it seems inconsistent. One day I'll get asked if I want something on a breakfast item I ordered. The next day I let them know I want that item and I'm told it already comes with that item and the delivery of the tone presented as frustrated. This was my first experience at Better Buzz coffee and I had big hopes. The coffee is great. But the customer service was confusing. And customers patiently waited for assistance. They'd make eye contact, but didn't actually say something like, "we'll be with you in just a second." I watched this happen with several customers during the time that I was working. The customer would have to actually make the request for help. Also, this is a new establishment... And it's dirty. The floor is dirty, the station where the straws and napkins are looks like it hasn't been wiped down and the garbage is full. There are a straw wrappers on the surface. And from where I was sitting I can see that the counter where they set the coffee for pick up is filthy. It would be one thing if they look like they were short staffed, but baristas gathered together and chatted in between making drinks. One of them very easily could have wiped down the surfaces or swept the floor. It's disappointing. I'm more than likely won't be a returning customer... I'm a big coffee drinker. read more

Stopped by during my overnight drive from Vegas to Tucson for a little caffeine boost and not only did I get my caffeine fix, the staff was also super friendly and helpful. I asked one of the baristas about the ingredients in a drink and let's just say he went above and beyond! Safe to say I will continue to always stop by Better Buzz for their delicious coffee whenever I am in the Phoenix area. I also frequent the San Diego locations but the service at this location outshines those in SD. P.S. We need a Tucson location! read more
