Love this place! Food is good and prices are great for Beverly Hills. I come here once in awhile with coworkers for lunch and they're really good about getting you your food and bill in a timely manner. It gets pretty busy during lunch, so seats are limited, but I've actually never waited long to get a table. Beverliz also delivers locally, but you have to have a minimum order of $10-$15, depending on how far they have to go. My favorite items to get are the breakfast burrito, veggie press wrap, and the veggie burger. Most items come with either a side salad or a side of fries. When I'm in a calorie splurging mood, I get their fries because their fries are SO GOOD! I also love the fact that you can replace tortilla for the low-carb wheat lavash. The cutest little joint in Beverly Hills that I stumbled across by accident. I loved the atmosphere. If I ever imagined myself opening a cafe, it would have been like this. A lot of character, quaint, cute and classy decor, simple yummy menu. They have seating outside where you can people watch, and the large windows provide a good view outside for anyone sitting inside. Service is quick, attentive and friendly. Everyone who walked in seemed to know each other, customers and employees alike. BF ordered the breakfast burrito and I ordered the Sicilian Wrap, and both were very very good, and great portions. I recommend this place if you're in the area. This is the kind of place I would take my family for good food and to show that not every place in Bev Hills is stuffy, overly trendy, and over priced. Mainly, you can tell that this family run business is run with pride. Lack of a 5th star b/c parking isn't ideal and it's not "cheap," but in comparison with the area its well priced. The food is great here just be sure if you ever want delivery to order 2hrs in advance to get it delivered in time to eat. I made an order for delivery 40 minutes before my lunch (11:50am) they are a block away btw. When I asked how long the order would take I was told 45 minutes which I did not mind at all considering how busy they get during lunch so I anticipated an hour. I waited til about 1 o'clock to call and ask the status of my order and the same person said that the delivery is on their way and should take about 10mins( ok fine), by 1:25pm still no order delivered and my lunch time was ending in 5 minutes. This time we call again and decided that we'd like to cancel our order. When we call that very same person says they are just about to leave and will be there soon!!! We thought this was ridiculous and we requested to Cancel the whole order for 4 people. Instead of an apology for the delay and waiting an hour and a half wasting our whole lunch hour for our food the man instead says "So you want me to cancel the whole order and throw away all this food?" Repeatedly as if trying to guilt trip me and insisted that we can just eat the food later which would no longer be fresh anyway. I simply told him I'm sorry but our lunch time is over we would no longer be able to eat our food. He could have simply given the food away he didn't have to make us feel bad for canceling when we ordered the food for lunch not for our dinner and repeatingly asking me if he should throw all the food away. Like I said the food is delicious and me and my coworkers have ordered here a number of times but this is the last time we order from here due to the unsatisfying service!‍ read more

For a moderate priced cafe that was right across the street from where I happened to get hungry, it wasn't bad, but it was nothing fantastic. Great food at inexpensive prices, but a very hit-or-miss service. I've been coming to the Beverliz cafe for years. They have an extensive menu that is pretty uniformly tasty at very reasonable prices -- particularly considering some of the surrounding, Beverly Hills options -- and a charming little seating area that's great for sitting outside. The food itself is good, if not particularly adventurous -- pretty much your standard collection of burgers, salads, and sandwiches -- and their bbq chicken sandwich with carmelized onions can't be beat. The menu's also large enough to practically guarantee something for everyone. But the service is very hit or miss. The owners, when they're working, are great -- friendly and attentive -- but there's an equally good chance you'll have to go find someone to take your order, refill your drink, or ring up your bill. Similarly, calling to order for pick-up can be a roll of the dice. Sometimes you get through, sometimes the phone just rings and rings... or worse, is immediately hung up. Thier food is always good. I love their grilled chicken sandwich. I don't know if it's the bread or the slightly burned cheese but it's sooo good. Their caesar salads are really good too. I've had their tuna melt which is also pretty good even though I think they're a bit salty. There's lots of pastries to pick from here. By far the cinnamon rolls are my favorite. I stay away from the raisen one cuz there's wayyyy too many raisens in it. Their service is really fast and accurate for take out orders. Sweet little cafe near my office so I end up ordering delivery from here often when I don't plan meals for work. I've tried the sandwiches which are satisfying and tasty, and also had an omelette there which wasn't my fave but was at least pretty healthy. By far the best thing I've tried on the menu is the breakfast burrito!! I get it with egg whites and occasionally add bacon if the mood strikes, but it is perfect! Has potatoes in it and avocado on the side, I generally get full on just half of it and am able to save the rest for later in the day. Not bad having half of the day's food set for only $10. The vienna coffee is also delicious. A serving of espresso with sweet whipped cream, it is small but yummy and perfect to give that jolt that we all need sometimes! no need for a full latte with those offered, plus the lattes can be kind of weak sometimes... too much milk. The people are very kind, and the delivery men ride their bikes to make drop-offs so always deserve a good tip. Sometimes they forget to ask how you're paying, which might be tricky if they don't get your credit card info before bringing the food, but as long as you remind them if you're paying with card, there's no problem. I'll certainly take Beverliz over Urth for weekday breakfasts and lunches, until I'm a millionaire and have all the time in the world.. read more

Love this smaller cafe in Beverly Hills. My boyfriend and I come here every once in a while for a quick breakfast and we always leave here happy and full! We tend to order the same thing every time...he gets a breakfast burrito and I get the bagel sandwich. Both are perfect and exactly how I envision a breakfast sandwich/burrito to be. I also love their cappuccinos and am looking forward to trying all the other goodies on their menu! I came in Saturday at 3 just before they closed for the day and had the 'Dr. Eldridge Omelet Sandwich'. I loved the name but I loved the sandwich even more... avocado, tomatoes and mushrooms inside a white omelet served on wheat bread with ample feta cheese made for one of the most spectacular breakfast sandwiches that I have ever had in my life... for reals! My friend elected to go with one of their press wraps, the turkey avocado to be exact. As you can tell, the both of us love some avocado.. I think you have to in order to truly be a Californian. Today was my second time ordering here. I work just a few doors down and they deliver so a great option for breakfast or lunch. Only downside to this place is some of the delivery guys are a little pushy about getting tips and can be rude at times. I've had one incident where a delivery guy demanded a tip. They also look at the receipt to check the tip right in front of you which is very uncomfortable. I reported it to the manager who seems to be very accommodating and understanding. They got my order wrong one day and refunded my money which was a very nice gesture and the way customer service should be when at fault. As for the food absolutely delicious. Today I ordered the breakfast quesadillas and it was flawless. This is a four star rating because of the weird delivery guys but the food itself and the establishment is definitely 5 starts! read more

We were in L.A./Beverly Hills for the MLK weekend, and Beverliz was a 10-minute walk from our hotel. We had lunch on Saturday - a salad for me and salmon kabobs for my friend - and we both found our meals tasty and fresh. In fact, my friend said not once, but several times, "This is so good!" We went back for breakfast on Monday, and were happy again. The banana pancakes had slices of banana cooked in the pancake, which I'm not sure I've seen before and was both pretty and delicious. I wish they had real maple syrup but hardly any restaurant offers that, so I can't fault them too much. If we lived nearby, Beverliz would definitely be a regular spot for us. Yummy. Just had lunch here. I love their menu, it has so much variety and good prices and they serve breakfast all day and everything is very fresh. Their coffee is so so good. Great location, too. The only thing I didn't love was my bagel. I got the bagel and lox and they serve it with some sort of multi grain bagel. I just wasn't crazy about the flavor, but at least it was probably healthy. But don't be misled by my mediocre review of their bagel. I just haven't acquired a taste yet for whole grain products. I'll probably just ask for a non whole grain bagel next time. I'm starting to sense a trend in Beverly, you pay for what you get. I grabbed lunch here with Amy G and I ordered the salmon w/ rice (I seriously need to stop ordering fish at non seafood restaurants). Surprisingly the salmon were tasty; however, the basanti rice was not very good, it had this strong aftertaste to it. The portions were solid, and the price is alright (about $8-12 a plate). Overall, the staff here is pretty friendly, but it does get crowded during lunch. Parking in the general area sucks, but you can find free parking in the residential areas around the restaurants. If I could give this place 0 stars I would!!!! What a horrible experience. With all the new wonderful hip and trendy places around here why would anyone bother with coming to this place with the horrible service and bad attitude they are serving up! After asking to speak to the owner ( the woman who is apparently one of the owners) told me they are not available and that I would have to speak with her. She could not careless about my satisfaction and in fact lied to my face and told me that she did not care what I thought. I asked if i could quietly sit and whisper on my phone while the table next to me was 3 very loud patrons clearly making much more noise than me! She pointed to the sign on the window and told me no phones allowed. I had already spent over $20 there and was just wanting to sit in a quiet place to make an important phone call. Her attitude was so disrespectful and uncalled for. I asked her if she preferred I leave and she nodded yes!!! How can you treat a customer this way. My phone call was not disturbing anyone... If anything the 3 loud people next to me were causing a lot of noise but hey it's a restaurant not a library!!!! I left and told her I would give them a bad review which made her proceed to follow me out to the street yelling about how she didn't care and that her reviews are all good!!! Well not this one!!!! I am ALL for supporting small local businesses but when they have no customer service skills and act as if they could not care less about their customers, I prefer to spend my $$$ elsewhere! read more

I LOVE BEVERLIZ! I come here for lunch almost everyday and they have delicious specials that add to their giant menu that I never get tired of. I can go on and on about this place but I would have to say that my favorite aspect of this charming little cafe would be that I can come here for lunch and feel like I am taking a vacation from my hectic job for 45min, then its back to the real world.. Anna (the owner) is so kind and accommodating, shes kind of the life of the party there. She makes for such a friendly and family-like atmosphere with the lunch regulars that come in everyday with me. I read the other negative comments about their "poor costumer service" but honestly that is just because they have so many orders that it is hard to cater to every single person the proper way. Take this from an everyday costumer who sees their everyday demand. Here's the Key People : Order 15-20 min in advance so that you don't have to wait when you get there! That's what I do to avoid the long wait. They are more then happy to take you order early so you don't have to wait and run out of time on your lunch break. Also, there is a reason why they are also busy, because so many people love the food and the atmosphere, unlike other snobby restaurants on South Beverly drive.
