Wife and I always enjoy their version of fast food fish. Today, I had the haddock and she had the pollock. Haddock was good and pollock a little over cooked. Sides were all good especially Mac N Cheese. Clam chowder was very good. Next time watch the timers a bit. Lobby clean and nice.

Not good waited thirty mins for nothing 11 dollar fish meal small and lukewarm when I got it. Large order of mushrooms 7.50 cents like seven mediocre mushrooms would not recommend at all.

Really good fish, similar to the old Fish of Stroh restaurants that all left here years ago.

Came with a creamy rice pilaf. She added their great salad bar for a complete and filling lunch! Our server was Jenn C, and she could not have been better! Prompt, attentive, radiant smile, efficient, and added to the welcoming ambiance of Trolley. I had their French Onion soup which is some of the best in town. Brothy (not thickened), full of flavor, delicious. I always get it with no bread or croutons and it still arrives at the table hot and layered with melted Swiss. A fav! I also had the tuna sashimi appetizer (pictured) as my entree, which they present beautifully! All in all, a great place for lunch (or dinner) w/friends or loved ones!

The reason(s)? Let me explain in detail: The restaurant was practically empty at 6 pm on a Sunday night (not a good sign); we were seated at a 4 top about parallel with the bar, where we observed a waitress chowing down on a piece of cheesecake at the bar, not 10 feet from us (she left the rest to come back to later). No one wants to see staff eating or drinking and then preparing or serving food. We ordered a salad bar each, at $17.99 per person, and my wife added on a French Onion soup. I went to the washroom and saw that they had 2 containers of soap (that were supposed to be in wall - mount dispensers) on either side of the sink. However, only the one on the right actually worked. I turned to leave, and saw that the toilet paper was sitting on top of the hand bar, instead of the holder, which appeared to be missing a piece. By the door, they have a baby changing table with various cleaning items underneath (not a huge deal, but no one wants to see the inside of a custodian's closet). I returned from the washroom and we subsequently approached the salad bar, only to find about 6 plates, and a few scraps of burnt (rusty) lettuce in each of the three bowls. I said to my wife, "I'm sorry, I'm not eating this. Let's go somewhere else." I waived the waitress over, who dropped off some bread that looked like it was a week old and had been deep fried, and told her that we would pay for our beers and leave. I told her that the salad bar lettuce was burnt, and we weren't going to eat it. As we finished our beers, the manager came over and said he heard that we had issues with the salad bar. I asked him if he had a moment, and we walked over to the salad bar, where they had refilled one bowl of lettuce. I picked up a piece of rusty lettuce from another, smaller bowl, and explained that the big bowl had the same burnt lettuce in it. I also showed him the pictures of the washroom, and explained, for context, that I am a certified executive chef. The manager was so apologetic that he even took the salad bar off of our bill...which was generous considering we hadn't eaten one bit of it. All in all, he was patronizing and unapologetic, which was extremely disappointing considering I was very respectful and was actually trying to help the Trolley Bar to not lose more customers (which, as a 40 year veteran of the hospitality industry, is my duty). The ONLY reason I gave one star (other than that it's not possible to give 0 stars) is that the beer glasses were cold. Other than that, we will never return, even though we have had 3 - 4 good meals there in the past. Good luck in the future. I would suggest implementing a staff training plan as soon as possible.

Between the excellent wings, the dizzying selection of alcohol, and the top-notch wait staff, this restaurant is permanently enshrined as one of my all-time favorites. I knew that I was addicted when, after walking into the bar during one trip with a friend, the bartender (Michael) recognized us and immediately offered up two Blue Moon schooners, our usual. That extremely impressive level of service is likely possible because this location sees a relatively low amount of foot traffic. Despite patronizing this location dozens of times on different days at different hours, we have not once waited for a table. What can be said about the food that hasn't been said already? The wings are spectacular. You can expect them to be large and swimming in sauce. Speaking of which, the sauce choices are overwhelming: their classic BBQ is a go-to, but try out the Say It Ain't Tso or Me-So-Spicy for something a little different. If its alcohol you're after, its hard to do better on this side of town. Their draft selection isn't quite as extensive as Buffalo Wild Wings down the road but it gets the job done without the large crowds and strange chlorine smell. They will certainly do mixed drinks much better. The first time we visited Wings Etc was during a big game night. Buffalo Wild Wings was completely packed, so we continued down the road a bit to try this other place which ended up having a few open tables and spots at the bar. Life is full of strange mysteries; among them I add "Why will people wait thirty minutes for mediocre wings at BWW when there's Wings Etc a half-mile down the road with better food and better service?" I really can't answer that, but at least I won't count myself among the people who make that sorry mistake.

As a chance of pace...we mixed it up and tried Wings Etc on a Sunday afternoon - living on the edge LOL. This facility is located in the far west end of the strip mall at the corner of Dupont and Coldwater Road. It's opposite the Kroger and more toward Casa's. Easy in and easy out as there is parking close to the store. The store is kinda large (at least seemed that way today as it was empty) clean and in good repair. The team was very friendly. The place was slow so we had very attentive service. The food and drink menu is fairly large. They gave a full bar with lots of TV's. Nice place to relax, talk and watch a game. As for the food...I really don't expect a lot from these type of franchise places. I did find the onion rings to be pretty good. Nice meaty piece of onion with a thick batter. Slight crunchy breading - not too oily. No special sauce served with this. Just ketchup if you need it. My wife really liked the grilled chicken bacon wrap. Fresh ingredients and tasty. My grilled chicken quesadilla was large and thick. Tender chicken, thick bed of cheddar cheese and soft tortillas.

If I want good seafood in the Fort...I will make the investment to go to one of the more renowned seafood restaurants. However, I had a gift card...and they have a new gig going...right? The facility is still the same. Large, comfortable and can process a lot of people. There was plenty of servers and our waitress Donna did a great job serving our party of two amongst the large parties she had. The place is clean and still decorated nicely. The cheddar bay biscuits are still the claim to fame. Warm, moist, slightly cheesy and crisp. Love the buttery-garlic and bay seasoning taste! You can easily eat a bunch of these! My side salad was very nice. Decent size with fresh lettuce and toppings. There were two generous portions of two different types of cheese. Croutons were crispy and the tomatoes were a nice touch to accent the salad. The honey mustard and items just make this a tasty salad. My wife really liked her grilled shrimp over rice. Everything was cooked to her taste. The rice was moist and seasoned nicely. She thought the hush puppies were the best she every had. They had a nice sweet core. The inside was soft while the outside had a slight crisp. Not too oily. Not over the top on corn meal taste. My shrimp Alfredo dish was not as good. The noodles were very soft - actually mushy. There was plenty of shrimp. Though it didn't have any seasoning to give it taste. Not grilled or blackened - just plain. The Alfredo sauce was best described as "soup". It was moderately thin and "soupy". It didn't stick to the noodles like a classic Alfredo dish at an Italian restaurant. The sauce was very mild in cheese taste - again disappointing. I tried pouring on extra Parmesan cheese and pepper to bring it closer to an Italian dish. Not much success. The NEW Red Lobster did have a much more streamlined menu. A lot of your favorite entrees are gone. There were a lot of dishes under $22 per entree. Prior...it seamed like everything was $30 or more. They have seafood boils which are popular in the seafood world. I was surprised that the cocktail list did not have prices.
