My wife also ordered coffee. My wife loved her omelet commenting how fluffy the eggs were and how flavorful the sausage, fire roasted corn and black beans were. She also liked the fresh lime cream and avocado slices topping the omelet. The hash browns were meh. My eggs Benedict were good. While the hollandaise sauce tasted good, it didn't look as creamy as the better sauces I've had. The hash browns were not hot and didn't seem freshly prepared...it was our least favorite part of our breakfast. The gravy was nice and peppery and the biscuit seemed fresh and held up to the gravy. My omelet was also good. I preferred my home fries crispier though. Service was on point as we never saw the bottom of our coffee cup with servers attentively refilling our cups! You could tell there are many regulars who patronize this place that's been in operation for over 25 years. It seemed like the servers knew a lot of the diners...and that's a good thing. Probably really tired and overworked. Food came out surprisingly quickly. But I had to ask for silverware, napkins, syrup, coffee refills, etc. Food was not that good, but wasn't bad. Tasted like most of it had been already cooked and just reheated quickly and thrown on the plate. At least I'm not hungry anymore though. No thank you's, or other niceties. Server did take an extra step to manually enter my card when it didn't work electronically. Actually, I don't blame the servers or kitchen staff for the poor experience. I blame the managers. Only 2 people for brunch/ lunch on a Saturday is not a good formula for success, and is setting people up for failure. Next time I think about going there, hopefully I remember my previous decision about not going, and go somewhere else.
