I came for my appointment and the store had no appointment scheduled. The manager told me their system is flawed and also does not show the correct inventory. He said he has complained to the corporate office in the past but corporate does not care nor do they want to fix it. Hence, not only did I not have an appointment, they did not even have the tires I ordered. This is a horrible way to do business when the company knowingly sells fake or non existent inventory is knowingly scheduling fake appointments with customers who have been loyal to this store for many years. If this is the way the company does business, you will no longer have me as a loyal customer. Update: Apparently the district manager reached out to me and wanted me to call him. However, after the company did a bait and switch, (luring me in with a tire they supposedly had according to their online system, then when I showed up, telling me they don't have that tire instead selling me a more expensive tire), I was not going to call and get more double talk. Instead I told him to call me if he was sincere about rectifying the bait and switch tactics used to sell more expensive tires. He can get my number from their system. There is two neighboring tire locations they both gave me a quote or free.99 but were swamped and couldn't take me in until 2 hours from the time I arrive. Today I came to Big O Tires near closing time for a flat tire. I was running on a very small almost flat donut. I knew that it was almost close to closing time and I didn't have very much hope I was going to get my tire fixed today. But I was helped by the service manager Thomas Rumisek. He came out to take a look at the donut and very kindly told me he would get it fixed up for me. Even though I am more then sure all the employees and Thomas was ready to close up and go home. I had an appointment set this morning actually across the street from Big O Tires here in Brea. The worker there was extremely rude and condescending, and also, they didn't even have my tires that I ordered. I was given my appointment confirmation and everything and was in need of tires before going to work today. I left that place and immediately started to hunt down a place that 1) had my tires in stock and 2) could get me in on such late notice. I saw Big O Tires across the street and gave them a call. Online showed their next available appointment wasn't until the afternoon today, but I decided to call to see if they could squeeze me in. I really don't like to give bad reviews but all I needed was a tire checked and air in all my tires had to wait 45 minutes to an hour while the two guys in the office was on their cell phones and chitchatting while coworkers were working very hard to get the cars done so the customers could be on their way this was my second time at Big O and I will never go back the guys in the office have no respect for people's time. read more

I would like to give a big shout out to Victor who greeted me with a GOOD MORNING and a smile which made my morning. I knew it was going to be a wonderful day!! He was very welcoming with professionalism and knowledge of what is going on in the tire business. He is very kind and give you that full attention. I went in to get a oil change and asked to have my tires rotated and if he would let me know how the tread look because I had plan on getting new tires in March or April. It turns out that My front struts and back shocks was leaking. Alex worked with me and because I believe in safety first he mentioned that they had a promotion going on regarding the struts and shocks I went ahead and had them replaced AND I got a Mail in rebate at $75. I wish I would have realized that I had already been to this location... Well fast forward, I made an appointment to get an alignment. I made an appointment for 1pm. They emailed me to confirm that they had accepted my appointment. After waiting about 20 minutes in line, I get to the front. I was met with the dullest personality I have ever met. He says, " oh, I realize you have an appointment but we don't control the online system and someone else made an appointment at the same time as you. It will be a couple hours wait." Naturally, I was bothered by this... I asked him what's the point of an appointment and he said, "well someone else has an appointment at the same time, I have one alignment stall, and my guys need lunch." More words were exchanged and I asked for the the manager. He said he was the manager... Nice work Big O Tires... This place is and obviously has been horrible with time management and customer service. And to whoever the manager is (thick clear glasses) learn how some customer service skills. read more

Rudy Torres, the manager, hooked me up and was extremely professional. They told me I needed all 4 replaced, so I decided to get them all taken care of. I was in and out in less than 30 min. Took my car here for a tire rotation and oil change but decided to only get 2 rear tires. Sit there for over an hour and a half on a slow day watching my car just sit there for 45min. Finally go in and the guy at the desk is like "oh yeah I thinks it's ready let me check" comes back and says "it'll be ready soon there was some major confusion back there" okayyyy. Then I find out they charged me full price for a tire rotation when all they did was replace the back 2 tires (no rotation was done/needed) almost $400. My wife and I returned to this Big O Tires and had another awesome experience. She needed a lot done to her car without even realizing it. Rudy, Jevin, and Juan did an outstanding job providing excellent customer service and were able to work with us on the pricing. We dropped our car off at 9am and had the suspension completely repaired, the front axles replaced, new struts, new hydraulics, the oil changed, the alignment fixed, and the tires rebalanced all by 3pm. I got a screw stuck in the side of my tire and unfortunately no shop could save it... therefore I had to get a whole new tire. Called big ok tires and every guy I spoke with was super friendly and helpful. I also checked with my mechanic friend and he assured me that I got a good deal on my run flat tire. $289 for my tire plus installation. Took only half a day to get my tire delivered and they installed it within an hour. Went for a morning run at the tracks that's right behind the shop and when I got back. Everything was done!! **UPDATE** District Manager, Victor contacted me and after discussing what happened, he met me at the location, had my car repaired completely!! He was extremely professional and provided excellent service. Thank you Victor for Making things right! Ordered tires online and received a confirmation for appointment with tires requested. My sister called to inquire about paying over the phone and was told that the tires requested were not in stock, said they would alert me when I arrived. Why wait? They should have notified me before confirming. Anyways purchased different tires because the employee Alex agreed to match the price of the original set. After about 15 minutes Alex explained there was a post broken which I was aware of however now they are stating the lug nut on another post is stuck and will most likely break, of course it did. Now I'm quoted $43 something for each to be repaired. having no choice as my tire could not be placed we agreed. We even asked to have all the other posts checked to be sure everything was safe with no future issues. About 5-10 minutes later Alex walked out and informed me that my vehicle was set different and had to have the wheel hub removed in order to replace the broken posts and being that it's more work the price quoted was incorrect but he was going to still honor the original quote. He did so without me asking or questioning him. Now my time would be 2 1/2 hours. I left the car and waited for a call back. When I received a call back I returned about 30 mins after and was then told that upon removing the hub they also needed to remove the bearing and when returning it they damaged the bearing. So he now offers to replace the part on his end however I would have to pair for the labor. $266!!! They damaged the part and now I need to pay them to fix it? That's ridiculous! I questioned why I need to pay for Labor when this is their responsibility, the response from Alex was he didn't charge me for the assembly of the hub, again a discount I never asked for yet he offered. So if I paid the extra amount which I was never given would they have correctly done the work? My car now makes noise while driving and will not stop until repaired on my dime. When asked why it wasn't repaired when they realized they damaged it I was told because they work already took 2 1/2 hours and there was no time for them to do so. Again not my fault, completely their error. On the invoice Alex typed "Wheel bearing got damaged currently making noise, didn't charge hub assem labor to help customer out with getting the wheel studs on vehicle to make safe again" I'm sorry but I never asked for any discount and was only given one because of his error again. Which as I stated he told me he was going to honor his original quote. It was nothing based on helping me get my vehicle safe. After hearing Alex explain and give excuse over and over how he didn't charge me and how much time it took as the reason I would have to pay for labor for the repair of damage they caused. I hung up and called corporate and filed a complaint directly. Now I have to wait to hear anything back meanwhile my car is damaged and I'm concerned about any further damage that may be caused as a result. Over all I'm extremely disappointed with the experience. First bait and switch on the product and then damage with expectation of payment to repair what they did. So the so called discount given without request is now being charged in another manner? Awful service! read more

The prices are somewhat reasonable. There are always coupons. Use them!! What I like best is they have a warranty for all your repairs. Even better, they have a money back guarantee, which I appreciate and respect that greatly! However, they can improve on their turnaround time a bit. An oil change should not take 3 hours. I've also lost 2 sets of tire stems! Didn't realized it until I got home on both occasions. Now, I take pictures of all 4 of my stems before I go, in case it happens again. Stay away from the Brea, California store. Purchase new tires from them, and had the car alignment done at the same. All four of my tires had edge wear. Big O tire would not warranty the tires. Keep coming up with a reason why my tires had edge wear. Took my car to different tire place and found out that Big O tire left one of the bolts loose when they did the alignment. I can not prove it, but they were the only company that work on my alignment until yesterday. read more
