This is one of the only places I can get like real oil put in my car, it's also not too expensive considering I have an SUV that requires more than a standard oil change. Also the brand of my SUV most places will automatically up charge me and make it an excuse just because it's a luxury brand, they don't do that here! Also, if you're a woman that is concerned about getting ripped off by mechanics over here they're pretty honest. Yeah, it's pricey. Most of the work they recommend I get done elsewhere for like half the cost but they are honest about it. Anything they recommend you need you actually do need. They always are respectful to me, I never get that talking down treatment that a lot of men give women at mechanic shops, quite the opposite they are very respectful. They also have been willing to special order parts for me that they don't have on hand to do repairs, like I said it is a bit pricey but they also were even willing to work with me on that. To the extent they can, it is a chain. But this location especially I really like the management! The crew is also very respectful. My car is always returned perfectly clean exactly like I gave it to them, which I can't say for a lot of places have taken my car to. Even though it is the law of abatement, still. Only one star down because as a chain, a lot of these repair prices are ridiculous. Which is not the fault of the people working at this shop, I know a lot of that is set by corporate. So anything outside of specials is rather exorbitant, other than that no complaints! read more

On Wednesday, my car broke down, so I started calling around for diagnostic quotes. Most places were charging between $200-$240, but when I called here, they quoted me $189 and said it would take a couple of hours. I was able to drop the car off and let them take care of everything, which made the process really easy. Ray called me later to explain what was going on. Unfortunately, my engine was shot, and he was upfront in telling me that it wasn't worth fixing. I really appreciated the honesty--it immediately gave me confidence in the kind of shop they run. When I arrived, Ray walked me through the issues in more detail. After talking it over, I agreed it didn't make sense to move forward with repairs. Even though I fully expected to pay for the diagnostic, Ray and the owner kindly waived the fee. They absolutely didn't have to do that, especially since I wasn't moving forward with any work. I came upon this place this morning when my tire pressure light came on and i was in a hurry. I walked in to the store, the guy was helping someone but he acknowledged me. Waited a few minutes and i told him what happened. He told me to pull in to one of the jacks. Another guy in the shop went and check my tires for nails and put air in. Finished it within 5 minutes. The guy in the store told me I didn't have to pay. Yes it was a quick and easy service but I appreciate the acknowledgment of a guest coming in and waive the charge for me. Highly recommended! Today I was riding my e-bike for the first time ever and ended up on the Midas lot. I hit a bump, and all my things fell out of my basket. One of the gentlemen working there didn't hesitate to come over and help me pick everything up. I then noticed my tire had gone flat, so I asked if he could put some air in it, he kindly did, and even tried to fix it when we realized it actually had a hole. Even though there wasn't much that could be done at the moment, both workers were so kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. They didn't have to take the time to help me, but they did. As a woman who doesn't know much about bikes or cars, it means a lot to come across a place where people have integrity and aren't trying to take advantage or upsell you. Let me save you time in your vetting process. I know you're researching mechanics stressing out about getting ripped off. I did the same thing, and I spoke with every mechanic in the area. Even as a total stranger walking in off the street no referral, no friend of a friend, I got the white glove treatment. They'll give you the same. Their quality clearly starts from the top. Ray the manager sets the tone for the rest of the shop. Honesty, integrity, and expertise. Maybe I'm jaded, but it's SO rare to find someone like Ray who genuinely cares about his customers. Before I met Ray in the shop while standing in line, I watched him handle a difficult customer. I watched the customer's tone completely shift once he realized he was in the hands of professionals. I had the same problem realization myself. I came to these guys with a challenging headlight problem that several other shops tried to bandaid but couldn't figure out. I had other mechanics trying to charge me hundreds of dollars to "diagnose" the problem... Ray, Johnny, and the guys at Midas took care of me. From the very beginning they made me realize that their main focus is fixing the problem and if they don't solve it then it wouldn't be right to take my money. Outstanding customer service from Jonny. I had a really bad experience at a different auto service shop where the mechanic clearly didn't wash his hands and left oil dripping from my steering wheel, dash, gear shift, basically everywhere you would touch after getting into a car. My car was brand new by the way. I told this to Jonny and asked if he could please put the seat covers and steering wheel cover and ask the mechanic to wash his hands before getting into my car. Jonny said it would be no problem and personally put all the protective gear in the car himself. And he was courteous throughout. What a refreshing change. At the prior shop, when I pointed out all the oil in my brand-new car, the mechanic showed me his hands and said "it's a busy shop bro" while laughing. It's too bad that good customer service is usually the exception and not the norm these days, but clearly this young man knows how to treat the customer. My first oil change here was in August 2024, got in and out quick with no hassle or gimmicks. Ray was very helpful with all the information we needed. Today made an appt with Nissan Cerritos for an oil change... it was close to home and let me tell you how horrible that experience was. We waited about an hr until we were told hey we weren't able to do anything to my car due to some tight screws that they didn't want to be responsible for. They were so quick to blame the last mechanic that worked on my car and said "the oil pan will crack if we unscrew it, call Midas and let them know to take care of the charges. But we can fix that for you it'll be $400 to replace your oil pan" they were charging for other fees and services.. ridiculous amount so we called Midas and told them what was happening.. we didn't waste any time so we took my car back from Nissan which made them irritated and drove to Midas And right away Ram and Ray helped us out! Ram was able to show us himself taking out that screw and had my oil changed efficiently. We will keep coming back here and referring to our families and friends! Thank you so much!! Ray and his team helped me take care of my headlights plus more. I drive a hybrid car and my headlights required special HID light/ballast that Valvoline could not help with. I had put this off for nearly a year because I thought I can only do it at Lexus and they were charging so much per headlight. It's hard to find mechanics that you can trust. I feel that Ray is sincerely there to help people. Many people rely on their cars for transportation and it can be especially stressful financially. It was more affordable compared to Lexus. The process did not take long at all or at least it did not feel like it because I brought my laptop to work in the lobby. I am very grateful for my experience here. I met with Ray A and we got to work,the regional guys were in and I bet they learned a few things from the store manager Ray A. Ray knows how to work with people and showed me his skills in several ways. There was no wasted time and the technician was on the job. Aaron and Sherwin the regional managers were helping to solve a financial matter for a young lady the way they treated this women put to rest the myth that women are taken advantage of at auto repair places. I needed a new alternator and was told I would be given a new alternator. The manager showed me the alternator stating that it was new and that it was not remanufactured. Little did I know it was remanufactured. Manager keeps saying that it's not remanufactured after the fact that I found out that it was remanufactured after the installation and keep reiterating that it is new. That the sticker on the alternator was wrong. I do not recommend coming to a place where they lie to your face even after getting caught with the lie. The manager did not want to reimburse me down to remanufactured price and does not seem willing to. Please go to other Midas in the area. This one is plane dishonest. Something to keep in mind with this Midas location is that it is under NEW MANAGEMENT. I read a lot of the "bad" reviews and it had a lot to do with the old owner. So this is a whole new crew and shop manager and honestly Ray and his staff kicks ass. I live locally and on 9/24/2020 and 9/25/2020 I brought in both my vehicle for a quick oil change. Honestly this has been the most hassle free experience I've ever had. Usually I get my oil changed at the Honda dealer but times are tough and I need to pinch ever penny. Not to mention Honda takes over 2 hrs for a simple oil change. You've got to ask for Ray, now that is someone who with intense integrity and pride for his store. Ask for him and I can attest that he WILL take care of you. THEY CLAIMED THEY "DID do the alignment" however MY car was not fixed. They refused me a refund and even after the second time I took it back they didn't fix the problem. This is my first time at this Midas but I've been to others that have had excellent service. I'm happy to say this one is no different, but it's much closer to home! I came in for an oil change and a check up on the car since I'll be going on a road trip. The technician was awesome! He was very approachable, he explained everything, and he brought in my filters to show me that they needed changing (he said people always worry they're being cheated). He walked me through everything they were doing and made sure I got the best deal on the parts he ordered. I got a full synthetic oil change for $55 based on a deal they have going! And they rotated my tires. I can't say enough how great the service was. In terms of COVID, there's not really social distancing encouraged, but masks are required and there's hand sanitizer available. Staff wears masks as well. I appreciate that, and respect it as well considering it was near 100 degrees out and HUMID. read more

Our family moved here a few months ago and we used a different place for service. They sucked compared to Ray and all the mechanics here. Just came in to have tires put on Ray quoted me 3 weeks ago on. I let Ray know 2 days ago we'd be here, the time I needed for and where I needed to be later in the afternoon. I'm now sittin in the waiting area after 40 mins and Ray walks in with dirty hands saying - Your tires are on, I helped the mechanics and put em on- their doing the alignment now.
