ZERO STARS If you value your car at all, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT BRING IT TO THIS SHOP. I'll tell you why: My friend (who does not have a yelp account), went to this place to get a lug stud changed, simple enough right? So they accepted the job and then say they need to order a part and he can bring his car back tomorrow. He comes to pick his slightly lowered acura integra up and drive it home to bring back when they get the part. Upon backing out, whoever parked it there ran over the bump stop with the front end of his car, left the ebrake down and when he reversed it ripped the front end of his car off. The manager was standing around when it happened and when he got out to survey the damage (bumper destroyed, lip on the ground, windshield washer fluid container destroyed, etc.), the guy told him that his car was illegally modified (which it is not in any way shape or form) and that they had nothing to do with it. THEN he told my friend he HAD to sign the work order so they can order the part and then shut the doors on him because they were closed!!! TALK ABOUT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! My friend declined to sign anything until the police showed up and by that time the whole store was shut down and everyone had gone home...they didn't even stay around... This was all after he asked the people working there to leave the car in the bays because he didn't want anyone to mess with it or for it to get messed up and they told him they would. So after all of this, his car is undriveable and he leaves it there overnight....ONLY TO COME BACK TO HIS RIMS BEING STOLEN AND HIS CAR LEFT ON USED TIRES!!!! WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON AT THIS PLACE??? He is like...wow...great... He asks if they have security cameras on the lot, they respond "no, someone tried to steal them a couple of months ago"...AND YOU DIDN'T REPLACE THEM??? talk about a super lousy shop. Keeping all of the boring stuff out of the story, the end result is that he is now suing this place for everything that just happened (yesterday), notifying every single place he can about the crappy service and extreme amounts of negligence at almost every facet of this business, on top of this, he said almost everyone except for the real manager seemed drunk or crazy. I had a slow leak going on and choices for tire shops were limited given it was Sunday. I called this one to verify they were open, and the person answering said, "Yes, that's why I answered the phone, because we're open." (Superior customer service right off the bat!) I drove in and was serviced. Upon inspecting their work, several new scratches in my factory alloy rim and +8 lbs overfilled my tire. They did their job, but have to say there is much room for improvement. I'd recommend skipping this shop unless you've got a beater that you don't mind them adding a little more character to. read more

I came to them for oil change because I bought a discount card, they told me me I need to wait for approximately two hours. After they've done nobody call me and just let me seat and waite for an hour and a hafl until I've wait too long then check on them then they told me it's done for a long time. Pierre is the man! I received new tires and wheels for my vehicle online (not from Big O), and was not given the lug nut key to torque them down. I had to jerry rig a socket to just get them on there, but realized they were not safe whatsoever. I called Big O and Pierre told me to come right down. He was able to find a key that worked for me and torqued then down himself! Great service! read more

Man if I could give 10 stars I would. These guys were awesome today for my family. We were on our way to the Raiders game, but "needed" a new tire. Call them at 8:58am and they told us to come down now and they will take care of it. Longer story short they were HONEST MEN who took a look at the tire and recommended a repair job instead of the $200 I already agreed to pay. They rushed the service when they did not have to (apologies to those who were skipped lol) because they wanted us to get to the tailgate on time. I will return here over and over again. Good work, but did throw me a fastball. I had purchased one of those laminated coupon cards from Bob, your classic door to door salesman. The promo was for free oil when you purchase the filter. Fair enough, which in essence would make a $10.99 oil change. While I did get the oil for free, they suddenly told me my filter was unique and very costly- $30 for the part alone. While waiting in the customers area I hopped on my phone and checked online prices. My "very rare" oil filter was only $6.95; and that was for single unit consumer pricing. I have a sneaking suspicion that every filter they stock is very rare and very expensive- and they only have one left in stock. While I should have saved myself the bait and switch routine, they at least gave the car a full inspection on fluids and rotated my tires so I guess that saves a few bucks and minutes for me down the line. However I think it's the last time I buy one of those prepaid coupons and I would advise any reader to beware that the house always wins. read more

Very bad customer service! I called them to ask about the tire rotation and the balance price and to ask if I need to do an appointment before and someone answered me just stop by. So I went and the guy there told me no I cannot do it now the day was so busy for us and I said I called and I asked for the appointment he said you called other store and I showed him the number he said that's our store. I've been going to this location ever since I've discovered it. I have been very pleased with the service until yesterday. I came in yesterday after work to get my two rear tires changed and my tires were making weird noises after I left. When I arrived home, I noticed the rear tires they put on didn't match my two front tires! Which is odd since I'm already in the system and they should have my tire size. They ordered tires that were too big and they didn't even bother placing the valve caps back on. I had to drop off my car before work today and I just picked it up. The person working told me, "on the bright side, it's cheaper." ITS CHEAPER?! I had to take an uber to work and an Uber back to your shop because of the shops negligence! So technically, i spent more money than i should have because the job wasn't done correctly! I think this shop can do better. I think the quality of work has declined since i came here last. AND I just realized they forgot the valve caps again and I have to go back in again tomorrow! Absolutely ridiculous. I would give 1 Star, but everything is usually fine when Pierre is the one who helps me out! read more

Sorry to do this but avoid this location. I've been having problems with the battery install they did on my car. Pierre gave me a ton of attitude, pointing the finger at me, and told me to go see my mechanic. I went to my mechanic and was told the battery install was poor. The negative terminal was not connected well putting extreme strain on my alternator which had to be replaced. Now I'm out $950 for a new alternator. :( :( :( I have to agree with some of the other reviews... there seems to be a lot of standing around and a lack of general customer service. read more

Use to go here all the time when i lived in concord. Even though i moved i continued to go there when i wss in town or whenever i needed work like my brakes done. Both my vehicles got the brakes done within a month of each other. My main vehicle has had no issues but my other car needs new brakes already. It's been 15 months since i got them changed and the warranty is good for 12 months or 12k miles. I haven't even put 6k miles on it since getting them changed so there is no reason i should need new brakes. They said they couldn't do anything even if it's 1 day out of warranty. Won't be taking my car back here. Good customer service would have at least offered a discount because yes it's over the months but hasn't even put half the miles of their warranty on it. read more

I got there within 5 Minutes as I work up the street from them and spoke with Pierre, he got me in and out in under 30 minutes and when I asked how much he said he would take care of it. NO CHARGE! I can't say enough of how well I was treated at Big O Tires today. The work by Mario and customer service Louise was nothing short of professional. I've been going here for 4 years and they never seem to disappoint. Mario is an excellent mechanic who gives expert advice and workmanship. Not only was he able to fix my front end and rear end suspension in record time. He took an extra few moments to fix my trunk (which i haven't been able to close for a year), out of his full schedule. I tried to get my brand new tire and tpms sensor installed on my new wheel, I explained what I needed done and they said it would be ready in 20 minutes I said no problem I'll be back later to pick it up, then I receive a call that my brand new tpms sensor I just bought a week ago and was working perfect (as of right when I dropped it off to Big O) was broken. I head back to their location and inspect the sensor and the screw that holds it in place is completely striped and the sensor is cracked obviously from whoever was trying to remove it. The employees took no responsibility for the broken part and didn't even offer a solution just wanted me to grab the wheel and tire and go. I personally work in a custom automotive shop and all I got to say is this place is a joke. They put me out of my time and money save yourself the trouble and don't go there. read more

I hit a curb and it looked like I may have damaged the tire. They could of sold me new tires, but they were honest and told me that the tire was good and did not need to be replaced. I ran over a nail with my car. I called this Big O tires and talked to Jason. I was trying to buy only two tires for the front because my car is an all wheel drive car and my other two tires on the front had 8/32 left in the tread. Jason told me that they had two and I can purchase them, but then he told me I had to buy four because the tires ALL had to be the same brand. Be careful buying tires from this branch. The manager Jason will lie to you and say you need to put four of the same brand tires on an all wheel drive car. That is NOT true at all. I even called the dealership and asked the Service manager for Mercedes and they told me that 2 tires just have to be the same or as long as the tires are 50% or newer tread. In any case, I went to another Big O and they changed just two of my tires. read more

There was a huge screw in my tire that he was able to patch up and get me out the door by 6:00... Very knowledgeable, helpful, kind, quick, and willing to help. He could have easily turned me away, but rather, he expressed care and concern for me and my car. He and another gentlemen also made sure that my other 3 tires were filled properly. Noticed I had a flat on my way home from work. I swing by Wheel Works since it was close, on my way home, and I have gotten amazing service there before. I walked through their door at 4:28 and John told me everyone was going home at 5:00 so they would be unable to assist me. He then asked if it was one of their tires- it was. I tell you this man then told me that he didn't know what to tell me besides that I could go to another tire place up the street that closes at 6:00- So I did. I don't want to hold anyone over on the Eve before Christmas Eve- but help where you can and support your regulars and those that sing your businesses praises... End of the story, I'm back at Big-O tires and they're willing to help! I'm going to just add- I pulled into Big-O at 4:35 and was out the door and back on the road by 5:10. JOSE WAS EXEMPLARY . I brought my fleet vehicle in for tires and an oil leak. He was incredibly patient as he waited for my fleet management to speak with him. He struck up a very kind casual conversation while he was on the phone waiting for fleet management to answer (which took quite a few minutes). While waiting, he notified an elderly woman (who was already waiting) that one of her tires had a slit in it and was drivable but could become and issue. He did not apply any pressure on her to change it. When she gave the go ahead to change it, he asked if she wanted to go see it. She said "no" and he still took the time to bring it to her in the waiting area and show her the issue. read more

i went to get an oil change but the place I was going to go was so busy, so we decided to go next door, the BIG O TIRE, in Concord Ave, Concord (close to Market St.,) They didn't have any business, and that is a bad sign already.....but for the convenience just getting oil change cannot be too risky I thought. I have a Mercedes Benz, they quoted me some 90 dollars for oil change and should be ready in an hour. I told them I will stop for lunch and come back in one hour. I left this place and got a call from the manager 10 minutes later, and he said the cost should be $110.00 not $90, it needs more oil or something. I accepted since they have my car working on it, I don't think I want to drive back and who knows if they going to do something bad to my car. I went back and waited for 30 minutes after lunch, they still have no one there, pretty scary to me to see how slow this business here, it must be a reason why they are slow and next door is so packed. Manager came over and try to tell me couple things wrong needs immediately attention so I am not sure if he is lying to get more money so I told him I will come back another day for that repairs. He also told me that he done inspection for my car and also did rotate my tires etc. I thank him and left. My tires feel strange afterward it seems getting rough rides and then I got a nail in my tire days later went flat. I think ONLY good service will bring people back but if you only want to rip off people you will not get any return customers. It is hard enough for people stranded and not able to find a honest person to deal with, just waste valuable time and very sad. read more
