Adorable coffee place. I walked in and felt like immediately warm and cozy. Great ambiance and quiet place to sit and talk with a friend or bring a laptop and study. No long line so I walked right up and ordered a Carmel latte. Yummy!! Staff was friendly and accommodating. They forgot to add extra Carmel like I had ordered but when I mentioned it they made it right. Got to have that extra Carmel. Haha! LOVE coopers coffee house!! This is my first time being here. Everyone is so so kind. The customer service couldn't have been better. I order a iced vanilla latte, my boyfriend ordered a double espresso. Any time I try out a new coffee shop I always get the same drink so I can compare the quality. And let me tell you.... their coffee is QUALITY! Their ice cubes are also amazing. We had a everything beagle as well (didn't take a photo) that was great as well. Will definitely be coming back! The shop is awesome, excellent Latte, delicious Bagel and cream cheese, the muffin however was stale, the ones with sprinkles as hard as a rock and probably should not have been sold at all. No worries though. This place is worth the stop! read more

First time trying this place and it was on a quick trip, I was not disappointed. I don't know what blend they use for a latte but wow it's good. Keep driving! I stopped at the Shell gas station on my way out of town. I happened upon Cooper's and since it was a "proper" coffee shop and not a chain, I stopped in. I ordered an iced oat milk latte. At just over $7, it seemed on the pricey end, but I let it go since I was supporting a small business. (I'd paid just over $5 for the same drink in downtown Sac earlier today). This drink arrived 3/5 full of crushed ice (think fountain drink style). I let that go because it was iced, after all. But because of that, it left very little room for oat milk (which of course, there is always an added surcharge). That all would have been tolerable if the roast had been good. The roast tasted like someone dragged out yesterday's grounds and poured some cold water over them. I didn't realized how profoundly horrible all of this was until I was well on the road back to Reno. I would have been better off at the Shell station icing up some of their coffee and saving myself both time and money. I will add that the staff was efficient and pleasant, so there was that. But they we're also efficient and pleasant at Shell gas station. read more

Good location in Folsom but the rest of the experience was underwhelming. Plenty of parking, indoor/outdoor seating. The coffee shop was half full on Sunday afternoon. Ordered two cappuccinos that arrived in enormous cups. Although despite the large cup, the cappuccino only occupied half the cup? Perhaps they ought to have different size cups depending on the order and also cups that aren't chipped/covered with scratches as my photo will show. There's a lot of competition out there in the coffee shop market- unlikely to return. read more

Service was good, very friendly, but this is the worst iced latte I've ever had. They used crushed ice which instantly melts watering it down, and the espresso tastes so burnt. It's disgusting, I took a sip and had to throw it out, total waste of $7. read more

Very surprised, and disappointed, to be told a refill of my iced tea would be charged the same as my original order. Some places provide free refills, some places charge a nominal amount, very few places offer no discount on a refill. If nothing else, the fact you are not having to provide me a new cup/lid/straw should justify some type of discounted refill price. read more

I was bummed to see this place is not taking covid protocols seriously. Staff were wearing masks but not enforcing the rules for customers. Multiple were sitting inside and were unmasked. We did not stay because we did not feel safe. read more

Stopped by here on the way home. I love local coffee shops and have been wanting to check this one out. The big pluses for me is that they offer coconut milk as a non dairy option (not just soy or almond!), and they had a good selection of gluten free treats. They also offer a variety of other treats (sweet and savory). I tried a hot caramel latte with coconut milk and a brown butter marshmallow treat to go. Service was friendly and prompt. My drink was not too sweet and just creamy enough. They offer a punch card too for return customers. Interior is clean and spacious. read more

I enjoyed this place when it was "It's a Grind", and now that the name has changed to Cooper's, they still have a high standard of great customer service and delicious coffee. Whether I'm here before work or for an afternoon pick-me-up I feel welcomed and appreciated. They have a frequent drinker rewards program and if you sign-up for their text marketing you'll receive some other exclusive offers. Coopers also serves up some tasty breakfast and lunch treats. Not a whole lot of options, but what they do offer are delicious. I particularly like the breakfast burritos. Free Wi-Fi is just another perk. And if you're ever in need of "The Man", it seems like you can always run into Local Police and Highway Patrol here, in the morning. To me, that speaks volumes to their quality, since those kinds of folks drink A LOT of coffee. read more

My friend and I are long time residents of Folsom and decided to give this place a try today. This used to be a coffee house by a different name but changed name /ownership a few months ago. Started with unfriendly and pretentious attitude by person taking our order, I believe it was the owner possibly. We had the worst chai lattes in history. I don't even think the milk was steamed and they had a sugary horrible taste. When I mentioned it I just got a sorry, like that's too bad attitude instead of offering to redo our drinks for us. I was killing some time here before taking an exam at a Prometric Testing Center in Fair Oaks (about 15 minutes away). I think it's the closest decent/local coffee shop to this testing center if you're also looking for a place to relax, chill, and maybe study a little before taking an exam that might determine the rest of your life. It's spacious, the seating is comfortable, and the wifi is great (the password was "coffee" when I was there)! The windows have shades that will can go down and prevent blindness from the unforgiving sun rays. When you buy coffee, they give a cup and it's self-served (refills are $1). I've never really like this system and prefer my baristas to take care of everything and had me a delicious, ready-to-drink caffeinated beverage. Cooper's is a solid 4 stars for the classic coffee shop atmosphere, products sold, fast wifi, power outlets, and the non-chainy localness. read more

Great service - very clean work area - good amount of choices - pleasant and knowledgeable staff and they were very kind even though they were closing in about ten minutes, they didn't rush us. It's a little pricey for me or for at least what I tried, but I can't wait to come back and try out the other recommendations. My husband and I were around the area and wanted a quick "pick me up" beverage. We decided to stop by Cooper's Coffee House to give it a try. Delicious iced coffee and so refreshing! Coopers Coffee House is simply the BEST coffee shop in Folsom! They are family-owned and they treat their customers like family- with welcoming smiles and wonderful customer service! They offer a variety of delicious drinks and food items, and desserts to die for! Their new app is just the cherry on top which makes ordering more convenient if you're on the go, but be warned- once you come pick up the drink you'll want to stay for a bit- their ambient and cozy atmosphere will draw you in ! They insisted I find the order number so they could confirm I was telling the truth and that "they didn't undercharge me for the drink". Real nice. If you're in this part of town, I'd skip this place and go a couple doors down to the Coffee Republic instead.

We had an amazing experience at Big Wave Coffee House! We tried their Caramel Macchiato, Tsunami (a delightful mix of blue raspberry, coconut, and sprite), Matcha with Ube foam on top, and their Cold Brew. Each drink was incredibly delicious, and we loved the unique flavors they offered. The coffee house itself had a very cute and inviting environment, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your drink. Alright, dude, listen up! I paddled into Big Wave Coffee this morning, and man, it's like catching the perfect wave. The moment you step inside, you're transported to a surfer's paradise. The vibe is totally gnarly with all those epic surf pics, books, and beachy decorations scattered around. Ordered my usual cold brew and, let me tell you, it was as smooth as a glassy wave. Packed full of people (inside) without masks, with about five Folsom PD motorcycle cops standing out front. We went here because we heard that they were struggling to stay open, and we wanted to help out by giving them our business. So ironic to me that they are throwing the rules out the window and then complaining. We will return to our other local coffee shop that is following the rules so that we can ALL once again re-open and live normal lives. read more
