Two stars because the coffee was delicious. I bought an $8 coffee and asked the barista for a small glass of water to take my pills. I was informed I could purchase water from the cooler. No, thank you. Even a McDonald's will give you a small ice water. I have never been to a coffee shop that doesn't provide ice water. While it's not your job to provide water, it was a very off putting experience. I probably won't be back. Your barista looked unkept and was rude. read more

Came on on Sunday morning(2/26) and there were 3 guys working. Let me tell you they had their stuff together. There where 4 people ahead of us and we were all out of there with in 5 min. They were so fast and nice I wish I lived closer so I could go there more. Great job guys!!! read more

Coffee is good (not great). Staff is good/friendly. Selections are good too. Overall it wasn't amazing but a solid place to grab a cuppa.

We support Michigan based bigby. Coffee at this location generally matches the quality of other BIGGBY branches. Staff is fine. However, the branch owner does not honor all bigby coupons or other promotions that most other BIGGBYs do. So don't expect free shot Friday or teacher mugs or $3 Wednesday lattes. If you have a choice go to a different branch. read more

In town visiting from California. Went to this bagel place the other day and had great friendly service and great bagels. Decided to go return before leaving town. The girl at the counter on 3/29 at 3:27pm with dark hair, ponytail and light blue nail was so rude, made our bagels we stood right there and made us walk around counter as she threw them on the counter. We doubled checked our order they were half wrapped in foil I asked for another piece of foil to completely cover them since we will not be eating them until tomorrow she snapped back and stated THEY ARE WRAPPED IN FOIL. It's unfortunate how she is representing this bright cheery bagel shop with such attitude. Maybe she should put on one of the "BE HAPPY" hats located by the bulk coffee before starting her shift. I give it a 5 star for bagels 1 star for attitude. read more

If you don't know how to greet customers, you shouldn't be working out front. When the person in front of me finished ordering, I stepped up to the counter. The girl was looking down, finishing something up. She should have greeted me, but she was busy, so no biggie. Maybe ten seconds later, when she finished, she looked up at me. That was ALL she did. No hello, no hi, no hey, whassup, hola--none o' that . . . and certainly no "may I take your order". Nothing but a blank stare. So I stared back, waiting to see if she was ever going to say anything. Her "WTH" look made it evident that she was not going to go first, so I smiled tersely and said, "How are you?" She looked surprised and said that she was fine. I ordered and she asked the normal questions about size, whipped cream etc. In the end, she got the order right...but how is it that a person can be the first point of contact in a public establishment and not have the basic human decency to greet customers? I am STILL shaking my head over this one. Thank goodness that the young lady who actually prepared my Chai Tea Latte made up for it. She was actually pleasant and asked me not only how my day was going, but what I had planned. She made small talk as she put it together, actually going out of her way to be pleasant. Averaging the five-star treatment I got from the second person, with the single one I would've given the first, three stars is what I'd give this Biggby. read more

One of our stops on our way to Detroit to see my sister. The lady who took my order was pretty short with me and rude. The mocha was very good. The restaurant was clean. Bathrooms were clean. If I find my way back here and hankering for a mocha, I would return. read more

Felt like I should add a review, because people's comments on this really aren't accurate to my experience. The staff's always been exceptionally friendly, and helpful, and they do a good job with the drinks -- when I'm in Ann Arbor, it's always a gamble whether my drink will be too watery, too sweet, or whatever. That's not ever the case here. The other day, not only did they make me a frozen pumpkin spice latte off season, they offered to let me look through the drink book to find more drinks I might like in the future. BIGGBY is a mall-style store that sells coffee drinks and snacks. That is the chain's style. They are not a relax-gather-and-chat coffee house. That said, the Chelsea shop always has prompt and friendly service, they always get my unusual order correct. Now, if they could just lose the extra noise caused by clash of tv (why is there a tv anyway?), muzak, and whooshing machines, it could be a pleasant place to read and take a break. This is my favorite coffee shop anywhere! The baristas are very quick, knowledgeable, and add that personal touch. They always remember my drink and sandwich choices when I walk in the door. Never had an issue here and love the 12 points and get a free drink card, I get excited when my points get close lol :) read more

Nice place. Staff is very friendly. They post their name, so if you have any problems, you can approach the manager and complain. I personally never felt discriminated against here. Great open space to sit and lounge. Very comfy in winter to get a steaming cup-a mocha or hot chocolate and meet up with friends. Great place for kids too! Has a TV. My experience at Biggby Coffee was fantastic and always is when I go there. I and every customer is always greated within seconds of entering the store. The barist's are always very helpful when I need a suggestion and I am always pleased with what I get, food or drink. I have never seen a customer treated unfairly or different from how I am treated. I would definitely choose BIGGBY over starbucks any day. read more

Got iced coffees with my friend and we both got sick. They have been forgetting the pesto on my bagel. 2x in a row so far.. The bagels are really good, we both love them, I just wish one had pesto on it like I asked. The coffees were delicious as well, but gave us both stomach aches. I stop here at least twice a week for a hot Carmel marvel with skim. Always good and friendly service. I've also spent some quality time as a work space. It's a bit noisy, as are all coffee shops these days! fast wifi, and convenient location. One drawback is that it doesn't have a drive through... Went in there today and the girl behind counter didn't say anything just what do you need and then corrected me when I messed up on order. Very rude person. I'm not sure if it's all biggbys or just this one, but this place really stinks. My coworkers and I go here very regularly because we work within walking distance. They charge double the price of Starbucks, the employees are not very nice to us (not sure if it's because we always order a lot at one time or not), we ask if they have certain flavors they tell us they are gonna get them at a certainty time then we come back then and they don't have it and they told us they never said that we lied. Plus the flavors are not very strong for paying so much money. Sometimes we go to the tree house or drive to town just because we are so sick of how they act... read more
