This was my first time at the location. Parking lot is relatively small, but if you can't find parking here there are plenty along the street/neighborhood. Highly recommend using yelp's waitlist feature to save you so much time. You can even ask Yelp to notify you when to add yourself to the waitlist if you're trying to get a table at a specific time which is so helpful! I'm sure other people had set up a similar notification because once I added myself to the list there were more than 6 groups added right after me lol. But about the food -- you can never go wrong with ordering a Benedict. My favorites are the crab cake and smoked salmon Benedict. This time I opted to try a Mexican Latte instead of a mimosa and you know what, it was actually pretty good! I came in at lunch today with my family of six to try out this restaurant for the first time. My son has a serious allergy so I was very concerned about how it would go. The manager was extremely helpful and said that even though they didn't have an allergy menu yet, he would be happy to look at the labels of the original ingredients and help us find something that would work. The chef took care to prepare the omelette separately and in the end, my son got a great meal with no issues. We all were quite pleased with the service and the food. LOVE Bills! This location always have fast service and I haven't had to wait to long. They utilize a Yelp waist, so you can join that as well. The omelettes are my go to. I usually get the Californian because I can't pass up avocado. The portions are filling and the food tastes fresh. The hash browns taste buttery and have the right blend of crispy with a soft interior. My son loves their French toast. It's thick Texas toast style with powdered sugar and served with butter and syrup. For $5 more, you can add eggs and bacon or sausage. My son isn't an eggs fan and they were nice enough to substitute hash browns instead of eggs. You can add a fruit topping as well if that's your thing. Parking lot is limited, so you may need to find street parking. read more

After passing by this place several times over the years I finally decided to go to this Bill's Cafe. Upon arrival i was seated right away in a booth. Place was packed as always. Got my coffee and browsed the menu. After deciding what I wanted i placed my order. I got the meat omelette. Which has cheese, ham, bacon and sausage. For the side i got country potatoes, and i upgraded my order by getting the cookies and creme pancake. When I got my order i was surprise by the portion size. Its huge it can be easily shared with another person. However, thr cookies and creme pancake was my favorite. The country potatoes were good, had lots of seasoning. As for the omelette it lavked on the seasoning i wish it had more flavor. Overall, the service was good. The food was decent, can't complain. I love this Bill's Cafe. It is honestly the best one out of all of their locations. The wait is never too long and the servers are always very kind. Once you order it's not long before your food is out. I am a sucker for their banana pancakes! So soft and fluffy. My significant other typically gets the fried chicken steak never any complaints. We have a toddler and all the portions are big enough to share. If you're going on the weekend Saturday or Sunday expect it to be full of people enjoying breakfast as well. The omelette was cooked well - good balance of ingredients, not overcooked/dry. The country potatoes were SO good. I am not sure what they do to give them so much flavor, but they are incredibly flavorful without being overly salty or anything. I would love them even more if they were extra crispy! The sausage patty was delicious! It was HUGE, way larger than I expected. And it went well with all of the other items I had. The service was fast, kind, and very helpful with navigating the menu. We visited this place on a weekday morning for brunch. There was relatively no wait and we were seated relatively quickly. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. We ordered and we're served the food pretty quickly. We ordered a Crab Cakes Benedict and a Bread Pudding French Toast Combo. The Bread Pudding French Toast Combo was delicious and sweet, the banana and the sauce it was drenched it was mostly the perfect combination, just a bit too sweet at times. The Crab Cakes Benedict was delicious as well - very creamy and the country style potatoes were the perfect touch. It was my first time here, according to the regular customers lines star forming early on weekends and it goes on for hours. So come early or you'll be standing for hours gawking at other people's food while you wait. Some friends and I had been in San Jose and Bill's Café had been recommended to us from a friend of mine. We needed a new, local place to check out for breakfast. We were sort of tired of Denny's and ready for something new! Bill's Café DELIVERED! As in... they fit the bill. We got sat within a reasonable amount of time within putting our table name in. The wait wasn't bad and when we were taken in to the restaurant, we immediately were excited. The smells were great and the restaurant itself was really pretty inside. It felt clean and this was definitely going to be a good breakfast! It took a little bit of time for our server to greet us. I would say the service was good, but in a busy spot like that, I think it can be difficult at times to keep up. It took a little bit of time to get our drink orders out to us and to get our meal orders taken. Once our orders were taken, it did take a bit of time to get our food. 3/4 of us were served and our fourth friend had to wait a little bit. Thankfully, the food was pretty deelish! I was sad that my home fries were a little cold, but I was too hungry and they tasted good. I ordered the crab cake benedict which was pretty good! I felt like the hollandaise could've used a little more something to it but overall, I happily cleaned my plate. One of my friends had the same thing and greatly enjoyed his meal. One of my friends got the Hash Brown Skillet. This was the one that came out late - but sheesh!! That one looked worth the wait! The cheese was ooey-gooey and it smelled divine. The meal was piping hot and my friend was only sad she couldn't eat the whole thing. It was a massive portion! Overall, Bill's Cafe was pretty great! Was visiting SJ and looked to Yelp for a breakfast spot. Bill's did not disappoint. Checked into the waitlist on Yelp which was a great feature. Had a 20 min wait still on arrival. It was crowded and for good reason. Once seated Eric was our server. He could not have been friendlier. I want to clone him and replace all the terrible service these days with him. What a pleasure. My brother had Steak and Eggs, my SIL had corned beef hash, some other family members had the standard egg breakfasts, my wife had the bbq pork sandwich, and I had the country fried steak and eggs. All great. But I specifically wanted to call out the service. We were in the patio and the server (I'm so sorry I forgot her name) was fantastic! Helped with my kids meals, refilled drinks at the right time, was the right amount of attentiveness, and just overall super pleasant. I wish I got her name so I could recognize her. I ordered the El Paso Benedict since all of the Benedict's seemed to be popular on here, it's essentially an eggs Benedict with corned beef hash, it underwhelming to say the least. The English muffin it was served on was soggy & im not sure they even toasted it to begin with. The corned beef hash looked more like a pate but certainly didn't taste like it. The green peppers and onions it was served with weren't really cooked well at all & the hash browns were soggy in the middle & flavorless. Overall was unimpressed and did not finish my meal. On top of all that, the place smelled like urine, unsure if it was the actual place or someone nearby but I definitely lost my appetite. Will not be returning here. read more

After so much time has passed, covid-19 took away everything from all of us we decided to visit Bill's Cafe this morning wow ! Things have changed around here and things in the restaurant industry aren't back to normal yet because there were no wait at Bill today, there were even a lots of empty parking lot available in the main parking lot. What a difference that makes. As great as Bill café is nothing has changed there is still the same big fat long menu waiting for you nothing changed there, the portion and the delicious dishes are still the same flavor and taste, the service is still amazing and fast if that important to you and oh ya the big fat mimosa is sooooo good and amazing I love it. We were having a great time and most of the servers are still wearing mask as well also they have a nice outdoor seating but I like the indoor it feel more lake the dinner vibes.
