    Bacado Omelette
    Susan N.

We reserved a table ahead of time because we had a big party. We were glad to have done that because it got really busy afterwards! I have family members who are deaf and it was nice to know that our server knew ASL! There's little parking, so I recommend carpooling if you're going with someone! Bacavodo Omelette(9/10): You can't go wrong with a simple eggs, bacon, and avocado! There's also cheese and sour cream, so it made the omelette nice and creamy! I got country potatoes as the side and I thought there were some pieces that were undercooked. Other than that, it was still nicely seasoned! Service(10/10): Like I mentioned before, I thought it was nice to know that one of the servers knows ASL. They were very friendly, attentive, and accommodating to our table! We didn't wait long for our food to come out, so that was nice. Overall, I recommend coming here for a nice breakfast/brunch!

Been a bit since I was here last. Usually get the hash brown skillet, eggs poached soft with a blueberry pancake. Today was no exception! This is truly the perfect breakfast (and lunch, as I took half home). Pepper Plant works well on this dish. I liked getting here early, as there were only two other people here. Server was on it! Place looks the same as it did years ago.

A manager reached out and apologized for the mistake and gave me a partial refund, I really appreciate the good customer service. I would probably return again, and for the record the pancakes are very very good.

Extremely good, quick and easy service. For how quick it is, it's amazing the taste of quality and care is still there. Service was extremely top notch as they are willing to communicate in ASL for my deaf brother! Vibes were amazing as well. Definitely will come back here. PS lack of parking but honestly well worth it!

Horrid service. David A, other servers, the hostess and the manager. No one looked us in the face. The food was hella sub par to old Bills Cafe standards. We got Hawaiian pancakes and soup and tunafish sandwiches. I felt like I was eating hospital food. The least bit of customer service might have taken away that the food was mid at minimum. With barely any dishes under 18$, you might want to consider adding customer service to the requirements of employment. The only time we got customer attention was when we went outside and the food was ready. It was 1:50pm and the servers made sure to make us feel uncomfortable enough to remember they closed in 10 mins. Irish coffee came with zero sugar or cream. No baileys. For 12$, do we really need to ask for whipped cream? Never again. Pass this place by. We regretted our almost 70$ for sub standard food and zero customer service. Guys, you close at 2pm, not 1:30. Don't impress the urgency to leave to the customers that come to expect a good meal without feeling pressured. Bills is on the down slope. This location is by far the worst I've been to in many years.

Located on the border of San Jose and Santa Clara, parking is limited. I ended up parking on the street. This location is much less crowded than the one on The Alameda. My party was seated quite quickly upon arrival. Strawberry pancakes (4/5): overall pretty good. The pancakes were a bit dry but the syrup helped. They were quite fluffy. Overall, Bill's Cafe is a great breakfast/brunch spot. It gets pretty busy as expected in the morning but the food is good.

Waited 20-30 minutes around 11am with 6 groups in front of us. The food was good and filling as you've expected from an American breakfast/brunch spot but nothing spectacular. The price was on the more average side (25$/person with just the food). Food came out pretty quick and service was good since they do refill your coffee quite often. Overall, 4/5 since for the wait, the food was a little above average.

Workers here are incredibly kind. We even had someone who knew ASL for my deaf brother! The food here is great, the price for how much you get is worth your money.

Corner location with on hand parking. Indoor and outdoor seating. Family friendly. Staff is ready to serve you. Appetizing menu options and hearty portions. I will let the pictures fill in any blanks... We will be back

    California Benedict

We had the best time here recently with Carlos as our server. He was attentive, laughed with us, and is just a super nice guy. The coffee is always fresh and strong, the California Benedict was on point as usual (ask for bacon crisp), and the pancakes aren't to be missed. One of our favorite places for breakfast!

There's lots of Bill's locations around, but this one is perfect for us. Great seating inside and out. The staff are friendly and helpful. Food is always delicious and comes out fairly quick. Lots of options for breakfast and lunch including mini breakfast meals. This place always has a steady flow of customers. Parking lot is small, but there's a big lot at Zanottos across the street if needed and plenty of street parking. Definitely grab some food here. We have always enjoyed it.

We were originally a larger party, but a few friends fell out and we ended up with the final four. Tho I'm sure we made up with it in ordering. The bigger table came in handy. The server was very understanding. I was pescatarian at the time, so did not take part in all the meat offerings. But I've been to other locations and their steaks are usually pretty good. Their seafood is for a steakhouse. The sea bass was moist and slippery. The lobster bisque was creamy and decadent. One thing that's always consistent at Mastro's is their cocktails. I always get the grey goose martini and it never disappoints. Parking here is awful. I don't ever remember Valley Fair being this bad. Plus, now that you have to pay for parking, you'd think it would get better. Anyways, basically come early to give yourself enough time to find a spot. Good for a special occasion dinner since it can get pricey. REVIEW #4042

I love the Chef who is behind this restaurant and was excited to have watched her in 24 in 24 & Top Chef. I can see why she is a James Beard award winner! I came here recently with three girlfriends, and we shared a variety of dishes, all 5/5! * Avocado Dip + Plantain chips: great combo with plantain chips instead of usual tortilla chips * Wood-fired Eggplant + Carrot hummus, Tzatziki: adored the carrot hummus! * Shrimp Salad - absolutely delicious with crispy shrimp, avocado, quinoa, mandarins in a lime-herb vinaigrette. Outstanding. * Disco Fries: not your average French fries! Loved the pork sausage and pickled red onions, wonderfully tart savory flavor. *Sautéed green beans - next level green beans with a creamy vinaigrette and chopped cashews *Grilled Corn: spiced coconut, cotija and tajin. Delicious! *Red Pepper Bread: melts in your mouth I think we finished everything we couldn't help ourselves. It was so delicious! Really didn't have much room for dessert, but we had to splurge and check it out so we decided to share two plates: *Pandan Flan: I love flan, and this was phenomenal! The pandan caramel paired perfectly with the yogurt crème, and the coconut rice crunch and strawberries added texture. And, the plating was fabulous! *Mango Sticky Rice: the presentation alone was incredible. Best I've ever had. Next level! This is a must! To go along with the incredible food is a beautiful atmosphere that you just want to sit and save her. We had exceptional service as well. I honestly cannot wait to go back. Five stars Chef Stephanie!! I've heard so many good things about the sister restaurant in LA, Girl and the Goat. It was the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air and made for a really relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has a great vibe overall, especially if you're looking for an outdoor brunch. (Have not been inside) I ordered the steak chilaquiles, and I'd give them a 8.5/10. The flavors were really good, the sauce was delicious, and I liked the addition of the eggs, avocado, and queso. My only complaint was the steak. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out medium well, a bit dry and was tougher than expected, making it difficult to cut. It was still tasty--just not cooked quite the way I was hoping. The mimosas were good too, a great value. Nothing that really stood out as amazing, but definitely nothing bad about them either--they got the job done. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server Rebecca was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly quick throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times, answered our questions confidently, and made us feel well taken care of without ever being overbearing. Overall, I'd come back, especially to sit on the patio again. With a more tender steak, this meal would've easily been an 8.5 or 9 out of 10!! :)
