I'm out almost $70, since the beginning of December, because they deactivated on-line ordering except through an app I used and when I went to pick up my order, they were closed. I was told that they would hopefully open within the next week. I inquired about being refunded and was given an email address to contact "Nina". I did and it took a while because she was away but she finally responded and told me that she would have the refund taken care of immediately. Never happened. I hounded her with further emails as reminders to take care of the issue with absolutely no response! Nice outdoor space so we didn't mind the slow service. Four of us started with the arugula salad which was delicious and enough for the four of us to share. Was disappointed with the Burrata Detroit style pizza (plus added sausage) which was very puffy and smaller than the waiter led us to believe. The classic thin crust was fine but nothing to write home about. I'd give it another shot if someone else wanted to go there but probably not if I was choosing. read more

Thank God I listened to my stomach and not the rating and reviews. I had an amazing experience here from servers to the meal itself. Family of 7 stopped in, easily accommodated with no reservation on Fourth of July weekend. Tables were adjusted to help accommodate our stroller. The pizza was pretty darn good - I personally had the Bag BHONEY and as full as I got I didn't want to stop. Crispy, fresh and delicious and SPICY. Just the way I like it. Went on a weekend and it was dead. Only 2 staff members on the floor (who were both very nice). Bartender was very friendly but not knowledgeable about the food or drinks on the menu. Be warned they do not have popular branded liquor. No Titos or Kettle etc. We ordered 1 grilled pizza and 1 deep dish. They both came out grilled. When I questioned the waiter he said mine was deep dish. Please don't gaslight me, it was quite obvious it was incorrect. I was looking forward to the deep dish. Disappointed. I am a pizza buff and I eat it everywhere I go. In fact, what drew me in is their Detroit style pizza but it was anything but that. The small square pizza was $25 but it did not have good flavor at all. Tasted like frozen box pizza. The best Detroit style pizza is Pizzapapalis in downtown Detroit (Greek town). As soon as I sat down, with having the menu in front of me of for all of twenty seconds, I was approached and asked if I was ready to order, after this I knew where it was heading and I was right. I ordered/asked if they had Pellegrino, the server said yes, I asked for limes with that. The server returned with a bottle of Saratoga Still water and two glasses of soda water out of the gun, with ice in it. First off you never add ice to sparkling water/club soda, by the way no limes. I proceeded to order the Caesar Salad with extra dressing in the side, what was brought to me was some cut up Romaine not dressed, some croutons, shaved parmigiana cheese, and a bullet of dressing, I had to ask for a roll up as one was not given when seated. I ordered the Billy's Burrata with the spicy sausage. The first came out with the Detroit Burrata, I was confused because no where on the menu does it say Arugula on the Billy's pizza, and even if I did order it, where is the spicy sausage? Now we got that all cleared up, I put the order in again for the Billy's Burrata w/spicy sausage, the pizza comes out on a trivet, no plates the runner walks away. I get a plate and I'm looking at the pizza and I'm trying to figure out where is the spicy sausage? It didn't dawn on me that right past ALL of Larchmont's bustle, I was actually here with my good friend Pat for Westchester Restaurant Week when it was 'Plates' years ago. In contrast to the previous predecessor, folks here have certainly set up a more lively and casual feel. Pleasant voice over the phone made it that much easier to order. The menu reflects an excellent range of foods for every palate. Went with some light noshes for hubs, some for me and others, we shared on an early Friday evening. A 30 minute wait, was more than fine and paid inside. Bar area was jam-packed elbow-to-elbow as if COVID wasn't around. Come on now. In spite of that, my Crispy Cauliflower and Shishito Peppers were phenomenal and our Burrata Salad with this delicate Basil aioli was addictive. Soft, almost-squishy Donuts were good and hubs raved about his Chicken Vodka Trapizzino I'd gotten him. Lemme just put it this way....food was heavenly and wanted more! And before I forget, I need to give it up for the kitchen for skillfully packaging take out boxes. Good quality is all here and I honestly don't mind ordering take-out again even dining in- as long as I stay away from the congested bar. While I have been to a number of restaurants in Larchmont, Billy & Pete's was unknown to me before the other night. One of my colleagues had heard they did heated igloos and greenhouses for outdoor dining, and they looked so inviting we decided to check this place out for a rare-these-days sit down meal. B&P's is located more on the outskirts of Larchmont, away from the central strip. They have a small parking lot but besides that there's no other place to park (the restaurant is located on a street with no sidewalks or street parking). Indoor dining was available but we opted for outdoors - they had mini greenhouses set up for smaller parties and igloos for larger parties. We sat in one of the greenhouses which was not bad; they had festive lights strung along the roof and a space heater to help warm us up (albeit I kept my coat on the whole time, it wasn't warm enough in there to take it off). I'll be real I kind of felt like Harry and Marv in Home Alone 2 when they hid in the little houses when stealing the money from Duncan's Toy Chest. Anyway, onto the food - the menu was mostly pizzas and salads with a few apps. We decided to start out with most of the apps on the menu - crispy cauliflower, funky bread, meatballs, and shishito peppers. All of the apps were very good - the sauce that came with the cauliflower was quite tasty, and the meatballs had good flavor (not as good as my mother's though ;-). I really liked the funky bread - it was kind of a toasted sourdough with gorgonzola and garlic butter - it was super flavorful and the marinara it came with cut that richness well. We also tried two of their trapizzino's which were kind of like slices of bread stuffed with different savory flavors. We ordered a crispy chicken and sausage & peppers but actually got meatball instead of the chicken. These were pretty tasty, and easy to slice so that we can share. As if that wasn't enough though, we ordered the chef's seasonal salad and one of their Detroit pizzas. The salad was great - it had a generous amount of arugula, gorgonzola, and pecans. We decided to add on grilled shrimp which complemented the salad really well, they were quite generous with the helping too. The pizza was great - I've recently been introduced to Detroit-style pizza and I really enjoyed B&P's version - thin, crispy crust, lots of cheese, and fresh toppings. For dessert (yes we had a marathon of food), we tried the mini-doughnuts with chocolate sauce. This was a great finisher - the doughnuts weren't too heavy and the chocolate sauce was a total plus. Service was great - everyone was friendly, and all COVID precautions were in place to ensure we were as safe as possible. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Billy & Pete's - even though they have a relatively small menu, the quality is there and they offer creative outdoor dining options. The restaurant itself has an interesting, vintage look to it, so next trip hopefully I can dine indoors. Until then, I'm excited to see this place grow. read more

This is a spot I've been driving past for years and never thought twice because most days it's not open until 5pm but I'm glad we did come. Parking is very limited in the area. We came on a Wednesday right at 5pm and were able to sit right away, it had a bright interior with plenty of space to sit and also a lot of outdoor seating. The ambiance is nice and cozy. They have a pretty extensive drink menu and I ended up going for the sangria. The food options are plentiful, as appetizers we got the cauliflower which came with an aioli dipping sauce, mozzarella sticks and the meatballs, all were really good. For entree I had the tipsy dog which was a Detroit style pizza with cheese, chiles and vodka sauce, it was really good. The staff was nice and service was fast and efficient, overall this is a good spot, I would definitely come back and try more items. read more

To start off, I would like to talk about the insane wait time. Around an hour and we had come to realize that they hadn't even started making our food! The waiters clearly weren't busy, and I'm sure that the chefs were not as well, as almost nobody was there. We waited for about 2 hours and then they come out with our order. I ordered a regular pizza on a gluten free cauliflower crust(Celiac Disease) and while they got my order correct, the food was just not good. The only good thing I can say about it was the crust as it was pretty crunchy, but the uneven mixture of sauce and cheese, the really dumb way of cutting the pie, and the overall poor taste of the pizza lead me to write this review. I will not be coming back and I highly recommend that you don't either. read more

I think four stars is just about right. I've been here 4 times, bringing different people with me, and it generally impresses. The Good: The physical space is nice. Lots of outdoor seating, and they even had igloos during the colder months. It's next to a park, so it's actually pleasant to dine outdoors, not like how some restaurants just throw a few tables on some concrete next to a busy street and be like Y'ALL DINING AL FRESCO NOW. The staff is nice, albeit mostly young and seemingly new. We will address this in another section. The food - i don't really believe in appetizers, cause why get like two different things, instead of just eating a lot of the best thing? So I'm going to be speaking about the pizza. The Detroit style is really great, but you can skip the grilled style. The Detroit-ers are crispy, with creative ingredients, and well-thought out flavor combos. The Bad Bhoney (impossible to pronounce and to stop shoving in your mouf) and the one that is basically penne ala vodka as pizza are personal favorites. The drinks - i don't drink because my vice of choice is eating a lot of pizza. But they have a pretty involved cocktail menu and some esoteric beers and wines. The Less Good: The staff, as I said, is very nice, but not the most seasoned. And that's okay! Rome wasn't built in a day, The Marvel Cinematic Universe wasn't the blockbuster shared-narrative experience that it is today right out of the gate, etc. Just bring a little extra patience with you when you come and recognize that your servers are on the young side. I stopped in for the first time to have lunch. I love the bubbles outside the restaurant for social distance dining! I had a winter sangria for starters. It was spicy and refreshing served in a mason jar. As an appetizer, we ordered the crispy cauliflower. Loved that! It was light, unbattered, and perfectly crisp with the garlic aïoli dipping sauce. Excellent! For entrées, we decided upon Detroit style pizzas, the tipsy dog and a meatball pizza. Omg!! The pizzas were amazing, with a beautiful crispy cheese crust surrounding a fluffy dough. The vodka sauce was perfect and creamy, and the meatball pizza was equally delicious with nonuniform meatball chunks.I can't make up my mind which I liked better! For dessert, I tried the cinnamon mini donuts. It came with a chocolate dipping sauce. Donuts were good, but a teeny bit dry. I'll have to go back and try again! Me and my Girlfriend are regulars at the other location the burger bar and decided to try this location one night and I must say the experience was fantastic! The menu is different and the food was exceptional, and the service was amazing! Rosalie, our server, was absolutely wonderful. She had a thorough understanding of the menu and even made recommendations for both me and my girlfriend. We started with the meatballs as an appetizer, which were incredibly flavorful for something so simple. For drinks, I had the watermelon crusher which had a hint of mint and was pretty cool. My girlfriend had the strawberry crusher and both were on top! For our main courses, I had the Shredded buffalo chicken sandwich, which was perfectly seasoned and had just the right amount of spice. My girlfriend opted for the Tipsy Dog Pizza with its spicy vodka sauce, and it was absolutely delicious, I wish I would've opted for that as well. Behind the restaurant is a field and a playground perfect for kids to run around after meals. We ordered crispy cauliflowers, funky bread, kids' cheese pizza and the Bad Bhoney pizza and chicken trapizzino and their specialty cocktails. I didn't know what to expect here, and boy, was I pleasantly surprised! We were greeted, seated and treated to the best pizza I've had in years. They even have gluten free options, which means a lot when one person in your party has celiac disease. Honestly, the gf pizza was every bit as good as the "regular". We had a big group, and ordered 6 Detroit style pizzas. Three were gf and everyone agreed that they were delicious! Next time I'm on route 95, I will happily come here instead of Pepe's. just to preface, i never leave reviews like this... food is good...when they don't change the menu out of the blue! the last four times i've gone to billy and pete's there has been some kind of issue. first, we went sometime in the winter with a reservation (made two days prior) only to be called shortly before the time we were supposed to be there and informed they were having a private party and we wouldn't be allowed inside for any reason. we agreed and sat on the patio in our coats, which would have been alright had they had the appetizers/desserts available that we wanted to get! it was pretty disappointing but the pizza was still good. the next time we went we ordered the red bridge and it was extremely spicy for no reason. we'd ordered it every single time before and it had been delicious but this time it was almost inedible it was so spicy. why?! it wasn't obvious that it'd been changed anywhere on the menu at the time so i'm not sure why. this most recent time was the worst--we made an 8:30 reservation (which their site allowed us to do) only to get there, be sat, and informed that we had to order immediately as the kitchen was closing in 2 minutes (at 8:40?). it doesn't say anywhere on their site when their kitchen closes so we were confused why they let us make a reservation to eat at that time. (we honestly didn't want to eat there anyway we tried calling to order pickup but nobody picked up the phone after calling 3 times from different phones) we ordered a pizza in a rush only to notice after it had changed on the menu (again) and hurried to change our order to something else. we didn't even spend 30 minutes there as they were blasting techno music and we could barely hear eachother even sitting outside. we left only to see the following day they had charged us twice for our bill. needless to say we most likely won't be coming back, which is a shame because they used to be a lot more consistent and their pizza is good and staff is nice on the whole :( read more

I was disappointed with Billie & Pete's Social on so many levels. I had been scouting for a venue that had outdoor seating, served some basic foods well, and amazing drinks- to do a get together with some good friends. Driving by several weeks ago I felt B&P's Social would be perfect. Now, being aware of their outdoor, or even indoor policy with regards to making reservations- I decided to forgo anything formal through Resy and just pop in since it was such a nice evening. We arrived just after 7pm and entered the front door by the bar- noting the number of outside and available tables. I was immediately informed that the only seating was at my right- some high tables opposite the bar. Having read the policy and knowing there was a possibility I'd not get outdoor seating I was prepared for just a possibility. The same waitress was slow to serve us. Indeed, she took, an older lady's order, along with her grandchildren- who arrived and were seated after us- before she took our order. Another couple entered after that family of three- were seated at the 3rd high table adjacent to us and immediately the same waitress asked them if they would like a seat in the main dining room. I was slow to pick up on this fact opting to believe instead that since it was completely unsolicited by the patrons- that perhaps they were loyal customers. Later, when taking our order the waitress told us to order everything at one time because the kitchen was very busy. My date ordered a Paloma, I ordered the Myrtle, skillet ricotta dip, crispy chicken trap'which and bad bhoney. The Myrtle was weak and tasted more like a green juice with a splash of a watered down liquor. Thirty minutes later our appetizer arrived. It was the skillet ricotta dip with trapizzino bread. The bread was an excellent match to the dip. The dip however was bland, grainy, and the green vegetables and scallion mixed into the dip did not infuse well, nor compliment the dish in any way. Next up, almost another 30 minutes away would be the entree. In that time 3 additional couples came in and were all immediately asked if they had reservations. All requested to be seated outside- and all sadly admitted they had no reservations. Yet time and time again they were all seated outside, as they requested. I asked the waitress how was that possible when I was told there was no seating outside by her when I asked the same question. I asked because at one point she even went outside to ask if there was availability outside- something she did not do or offer for us when I asked. I became a little miffed and when I brought up the examples and even pointed out to her of the last two couples, a male and his daughter, and another male with a beard and his date- who were seated outside immediately- she began to stammer and failed miserably in her explanation- even not recalling going outside to ask if there was availability. She later came back to report to me that the man and his young daughter were having issue with a bee during the remaining dying light- as if somehow I would be appeased by the temporary discomfort being suffered by another. I was not. She also told me that our entree's would be ready in 7 minutes. At 7:55pm my date's order arrived, brought out by a young female that called us 'loves'. I urged my date to begin her meal while it was still hot- believing that my order would arrive shortly. It was after 7:15pm that the waitress walked by and saw my order still had not been brought out to me and that my date had finished her meal. The waitress returned after a few more minutes with my order- and explained to me that my order was on the house- as that it should have been served at the same time as my dates entree. I couldn't have agreed more. I should also note that somehow, some way- the ceiling lights in the little section I was in was continuously being turned off- leaving us in the dark. Was that a joke?? Was it Coincidence? I had started to believe otherwise and had growled about the annoyance of the light being shut off while we were seated. I had ordered the Bad Bhoney about an hour earlier by now. It was by far the best tasting dish in B&P's Social that I had thus far. The chillies, honey and carmelized onion complimented one another on the pizza. I had two slices of the pizza, packed it up, tipped the waitress anyway, as I'm not a savage, noted all the people happily seated outside that I had seen enter the restaurant without reservations as I carried myself off the grounds- head high, dead set never to return to this place. It's shameful and an absolute disgrace that in 2023- I, a military veteran, college educated, and now retired law enforcement official of 28 years should have been treated so poorly. So, I cannot speak for the vast majority of the food at Billy & Pete's, which occupies the space of erstwhile and much lamented Plates restaurant. But a couple of weeks ago, I was driving by, and I saw a sign at the edge of their parking lot for fresh mini-donuts, so I pulled in. I was skeptical, and frankly, it seemed a little weird to be selling mini-donuts at mid-day from the parking lot, so I ordered a sampler of three donuts. OMG, they were great. Fantastic. About the size of a Dunkin' Munchkin, but about 20 times better. I refrained from ordering any more, but only barely. I assume the donut thing is seasonal, and only offered on the weekend, and only offered through the little table they set up in the parking lot. But if you see that sign, do not hesitate to wheel in and pick up some of the mini-donuts. You will be very glad you did. read more

Cute little addition to Larchmont. The restaurant is small but does well with its space. I love the use of the igloos in the winter too. Their menu is fun and has lots of unique options. I enjoyed the cocktails and the bartender was nice enough to make us an off-the-menu specialty shot as well. Food was very tasty and There was nothing I didn't like! Prices were fair as well. Me and my girlfriend gave this place a shot this weekend. The food was decent. Being from New York it's hard to be impressed by pizza when you've had so much. We got the deep dish classic pizza, the funky bread, the meatballs, and the side door donuts. If this was based on presentation they would get 10/10. Everything tasted great. The deep dish pizza looks amazing. It had somewhat of a nutty taste. Wasn't what I was expecting but still tasted good. I do wish the sauce that the meatballs were in was a tad warmer when it came out to us. The funky bread was really good. The side door donuts were cute, but that's really it. The smell amazing, and look amazing. But I've had better donuts. Kind of wish I took pictures so you can see how small they were. Food was meh. It was like they were out of ingredients and just winged it. The last time we ate here they sat us outside and couldn't figure out the heaters so we froze. This time, they had one very surly unfriendly server who took 20 minutes to even bring us water while we just sat there. Then, they sandwiched us between a huge party of 12 on one side and separated the kids on the other side of us leaving to basically babysit while the kids crawled on the floor and yelled. We went out to escape our own kids, not babysit for strangers while those adults enjoyed their meal away from their kids. It was a horrible experience. This is one of the few places (if you are lucky) to find Detroit style pizzas. We totally enjoyed the square pizzas with the slightly burned cheese overhanging on the edges. Standard topping selections but there are a few new ones to try. It is an easy walk from Larchmont downtown and there is a park near by. Don't see a lot of parking on the premise but the train station parking is just across the street. Very efficient and friendly services. Good for toddlers as there is a rolling hill near by. Reservation is highly recommended and I see a lot of take out orders. They also have fresh donuts and will try on our next visit (soon I hope). Highly recommended and enjoy. read more

A hidden gem in Larchmont! The ambiance is amazing inside and out, the drinks are well made, and the food is excellent! We ordered the cauliflower appetizer and got the pepperoni Detroit pizza as well as the Larchmont classic grilled pizza - everything was well made, fresh ingredients, tasteful. My boyfriend and I both highly recommend this establishment. The service was good, seated immediately and taken care of quickly, the waitress didn't come check on us again until the end but that's not the end of the world. A new restaurant in an old building tucked away across the street from the Larchmont Train Station parking lot. As we are somewhere in the middle of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we ate outside on what used to be part of the parking lot for the restaurant. Larchmont has done a great service to their community by blocking off huge swaths of street parking and turning it into al fresco dining, but I digress. While appropriately socially distanced from other patrons, the noise from the trains and nearby I-95 certainly do not make for a romantic date spot, but that's life during COVID. The menu has a few appetizers and we opted for the crispy cauliflower, funky bread and the burrata salad. Two of my dining companions (2 of my daughters) made quick work of that so I have no direct input, but they liked it. I was left to try the cauliflower and the funky bread, both delicious. BTW, they did leave over some of the green basil aioli from the burrata and I dipped the cauliflower in that and though ti was better than the supplied dipping sauce (creamy garlic aioli). Entrees and pizza and pizza...2 different styles. We had the Potato Pesto and 2 of the Detroit style pan pizzas. Detroit style pizza was new to me and I think I am hooked. The sausage and pepper pie was a little light on the sausage (well, a lot light!) while the Eggplant pie had plenty of eggplant. I definitely need to do this Detroit thing again. The grilled Potato Pesto pie was really, really...really thin. So all you thin crust pie aficionados should get over here pronto. It has a somewhat citrusy element that I couldn't quite identify but worked well, I thought. Too bad for me, I no longer work in Larchmont but I will probably make a return visit. Sure there are hundreds of pizzerias between me and Billy & Pete's, but this pizza is something special. Why not a fifth star? Service was a little spotty and I think they might have messed up our order since there was a long interval between apps and pizza and some nearby tables who were seated after us seemed to get food before we did. read more

DELICIOUS!!! Got take out pizza - tried one of each kind, and they were all super tasty. Big fan of the pepperoni with the hot honey and the pesto/potato pizzas. The drinks are also top notch, all made with fresh squeezed juice and crushed ice. The park is right by too which is perfect if you're looking for something to do on a beautiful day. Pretty good pizza joint. Nice outdoor space with some lamps that I think are supposed to be heat lamps but don't warm you up as much as some of the others I've seen/experienced. The tables are spread out but the picnic tables are a bit uncomfortable because the seat is not wide enough and oddly spaced from the table itself. Anyways. The Detroit style pizzas are quite good, but not that large! We ordered three pizzas for three people, which was a little more than we needed but two was not enough. Just be sure to order enough food! read more
