I got delivery recently from Nicky's. Very solid! It competes with my everyday go-to, for sure. The cheese is great for the kiddos - maybe a smidgen saucier than I usually go for, but, hey, tomatoes are vegetables, and it tasted great! I got sausage and mushroom for our other pizza. We did lunch takeout and it was yummy, we had rectangle pizza with broccoli rabe with crumble and stuffed pizza. If you want lots of meat get the stuffed pizza and it also came with extra red sauce. I was worried it might have too much bread but it was just right. Definitely a meat lover's pizza! Worst place around don't waste your time or money the food is horrible and the customer service sucks

Terrible customer service. I was waiting in line to be helped when a man and his son walked up and stood in front of me on the other side of the register. When the employee came to the counter and asked who was next, I stepped forward and said I was there for a pickup. Instead of serving me, he ignored me and went straight to the man who had cut the line. This is the second time I've been treated rudely at this establishment, and I will not be returning. I'll also be sure my family and friends don't spend their hard-earned money at a place that clearly doesn't value our business. Black women deserve the same level of service and respect as anyone else. Keep that in mind, Nicky's Pizzeria--your food is not good enough for you to treat customers any type of way! The plain slice which is the most basic thing any pizza shop can do actually sucks. Villa Maria also terrible. The pizza in Larchmont is not it. I have to go all the way to Eastchester where the Albanians/italians are to get a quality slice of pizza. When I go there during the week, things are pretty good and fresh. On the weekends however, I get the leftovers. I don't mean I order the leftovers, I just get them. Ordered a chicken Parmiggiano wedge to take home with me. I'm still chewing as I write, because the chicken was so old. It's a shame. Used to be my go to place. Great local business that actually cares about customer service. I have been going to Nicky's for over a year and the food is great but it's when I had an issue with the delivery service (through seamless) is when I realized what a standup establishment they are running. Long story short, seamless never delivered my food but claimed they did. Nicky's could have left it for me to deal with seamless and fight for my refund but instead they stepped and immediately worked on remaking my lost meals and delivered it to my door step. They then explained to me how to work on getting a refund for my first lost delivery. What started out to be a frustrating situation, ended up with me reaffirming my loyalty to this great, local business. And oh by the way, the lasagna and chicken parm are excellent! Decent pizza, pricing, and seemingly friendly staff.... Questionable health / sanitary issues! I used to work in the area for 4 years and loved Nicky's. The pizza here has always been good, my favorite is the buffalo. But today I was disappointed when I went to order my slice and the associate behind the counter grabbed my slice with his bare hands! No gloves, no spatula, just his hands - for sanitary reasons this is a HUGE issue! He then proceeded to ring me up at the register and touch the money with the same bare hands he used on my slice. Then did the same thing with next customer, touched the pizza after touching money and who knows what else. So gross! Please touch food with spatula, appropriate kitchen tools, or wear gloves! It's not asking for much. I hope management reads this and as a customer if I ever go back, I'll be sure to tell them in person. read more

It's decent and good pizza, nothing crazy. You can sit outside in the summer and they have a big menu. I like their tomato salad.

I know a good slice -- and for 53, yes, 53 years, Nicky's has been serving up great pizza. The Sicilian is light and crunchy -- sprinkle some red pepper flakes on it, and you're all set. The cheese slice is thin and light - and the crust is perfect. Just the right amount of cheese and sauce for a one-handed fold. The recipe has stayed the same since I held a slice while playing Pacman in the back of Nicky's in 1971. If you don't like this pizza, you don't like NY pizza. That's what this is. I wanted to point out my experience at this establishment this evening. I was in town to visit a friend and it was dinner-time. I had the Eggplant Parmigiana and let me tell you: My perception was that this dish was cooked with love. It had a very good layer of cheese, but not over-bearing. The sauce that draped the top of it was seasoned much to my liking. I cut into the eggplant and when I took a bite, it was tender and juicy with just the right amount of crunch. It was evenly cooked which I found refreshing (since some places I've been to before would serve it hot in the middle, but a little on the cold side on the edges). Before leaving, I got 4 plain slices and a pepperoni roll. I drove it all the way back home (just over 1.5 hours) and after heating it up in the oven, my brother and I had a slice each and split the pepperoni roll. Slices: Cheese and sauce combination on the thin and crispy dough was so delicious. it got better with every bite. It was so good that I ate the crust (and I rarely eat it). Pepperoni Roll: I basically got this for my brother because I'm not a huge pepperoni fan, but I had half anyway after seeing my brother's reaction. If you love pepperoni, imagine mounds of it layered with cheese on a soft and pleasantly chewy dough. it was pleasing to look at to boot! Honestly, I don't mess around when it comes to Italian food. The owner and staff are very friendly and it really shows in their willingness to get your order to you hot and fresh! I highly recommend Nicky's...so good! read more
