Went there this week at a slow time and took forever to get a waitress, even though we were in a hurry. Definitely a fun ambience, and that's what pulls up their rating, in my view. My husband and I felt like our margaritas had zero tequila and a lot of sugar. I love rice and beans and I'm not super super picky, but I didn't eat the rice and beans because they didn't taste very good. Received lukewarm fish tacos that were obviously reheated from a not-recent timeframe, with a reheated texture no one loves to perceive in fish. We did enjoy the queso. My wife and I love Billy Blanco's and we always take out of town guests there for a lunch we know they will enjoy. After one guest raved about the Taco Salad which is served in a giant tostada bowl, we recommend it to all and my wife gets it every time. I have taken the time to work around the menu. So far, the Burritos are my favorite but every item has been delicious. Service during off season is more personalized and efficient than during Ski Season. Most restaurants in Park City have full-timers year round and add seasonal staff when volume kicks up in Winter. It usually takes a few weeks for the new kids to get in the groove but they always figure it out. Kids love the cars and motorcycles to look at. The unique garage-style restrooms in the basement are a cool branding touch. Summer on the patio is top notch, especially if there is live music in the park adjacent. This place is great! From the chips and salsa you get when you sit down to the entrees, this place is consistently really good food. Order any margarita you like with the corona side-car, "coronarita" and enjoy. We usually get a smothered burrito to share because it's so much food. During early lunch hours 1pm-2pm on a Monday was not very busy. Server was very nice, and gave good recommendations. Wife and I both did Taco samplers. Between the 2 of us I think we tried every taco they have. The Pork and Chicken pastor were my two favorites. My wife said hands down the mushroom taco was her favorite, she went HAM on it and I did not get a taste. The kids had quesadillas and cheeseburgers. They each had one with tater-tots and fries. Kids destroyed the food, but the portions were large and could have been shared. The decor of the place was centered on automotive and motorcycles. Inside the main restaurant were two lifts with Challenger and Chevelle that had two booths under each car. We sat under the Chevelle. The downstairs had many other classic cars, Camaro, Trans-Am, another Chevelle and a few other cars. Other seats were made of jacks, and some car bucket seats. Been here twice. First was tacos. Second was a quesadilla. I'm not sure how you can mess up either of those but they did. Food was terrible. No flavor. No seasoning. Needed salt badly. The cook clearly doesn't cook with love. It's Mexican food for white people or the elderly. For the price they charge it should be tip top. Definitely a hidden gem in Salt Lake City/Park City. The entire decor of the restaurant is theme like a high end performance shop with nods to mechanics racing and cars all around. There's a giant underground garage/catering/event/dining space that many celebrities rent out to host . You can see the slew of people that went via their instagram page. I love that they have all their muscle cars above the giant booths in the restaurant. Makes for a memorable restaurant and ambiance for sure. Be sure to take your time around the place there's mechanics books all in the bottom floor with the Ducati supersport bike as well. The problem with Billy Blanco's is that I REALLY want to love Billy Blanco's and it is kind of just ok. There isn't anything wrong with Billy Blanco's, the atmosphere is great, the service is always solid, and the food isn't bad. The restaurant is Detroit-styled, "a playful cantina offering Mexican eats, burgers, and a bar admist motorcycles and racing car decor. Here is the thing, I'm from Detroit and Billy Blanco's reads like me singing, "These are a few of my favorite things..." if I listed my favorite foods, Billy Blanco's menu has about 45% of my list covered but then, it's just not very good. The best way I can describe it is that it's like showing up to Thanksgiving dinner at your best friends house whose mom cooks all the food blandly. You've got all the right food, a great atmosphere, at a time you're really excited to eat and it's just not that good. Any other time this is a solid 3-star review but the disappointment is real. read more

The Mexican fusion dishes are amazing. Smoked beef rib tacos? Yes. Their queso dip has a decent amount of spice to it. The pepper pickles they put on the tacos? Oh yes. Actual heat. Big portions. If you leave hungry it's your own fault. The shop towel napkins gave me a chuckle. Restrooms are downstairs, so don't wander into the kitchen like I did. They staff was very nice about it, but still. This is standard issue Tex-Mex food and for Park City, it's good enough. There were some serious service issues the day we visited, from not being greeted for several minutes to being seated without menus. Don't plan on great service here and you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is kind of cool, with a Detroit / rock / motorhead vibe. There are lots of tvs and a very nice central bar area, and it looks like they can get most of the big sports channels and games, from NHL hockey to NFL football Sunday ticket. I would absolutely come back here to watch sports. The food was just okay. The complimentary chips and salsa weren't really worth eating. We ordered queso which was just melted Velveeta style cheese (not real cheese, boo). Hubby had the steak and bacon quesadillas and I had the chicken fajitas. All meals come with a side, but you can choose from more interesting items like tater tots, salad, and cole slaw instead of the standard Mexican rice and beans. The portion sizes were very large, especially considering the reasonable prices. The quesadilla was really good, but the flour tortillas aren't homemade. They tasted like those lard-loaded, cheap store bought ones, which aren't really tasty. My fajitas were just okay, mostly unmemorable. They were served in a cute little dish, but the small amount of chicken was piled high on top of cheap onions and other veggies to make it look more substantial than it was. I'd go for that quesadilla next time. This isn't a bad option for dinner, but I'd probably just come back to snag some appetizers at the bar and watch hockey. read more

The staff were super nice and friendly and we got our food quick. So 2 stars for that. The fajitas were the worst fajitas I have ever had in my life. The steak was over cooked and the onions were almost raw. I have no idea how they managed to over cook and undercook them at the same time. The fajitas were also super watery, like there was a pool of water in the skillet. The worst part was is that they used that pre-minced cheap pickled garlic. They used so much of it I could hardly eat it. I almost sent it back but wasn't interested in the drama and who wants to be that person. I am a fan of Bill White's restaurants and as a foodie I expected more. I am going to come back again and try something else but dang those are some horrible fajitas. read more

Yowza..is this place terrible. They are horribly under staffed, so service is really bad (i.e. appetizers arriving after entrees, drinks showing up when you are done with your meal...). On top of it, the food is not good. There are much better places in the area. Tekila is awesome, but you do have to contend with Main Street. Loco Lizard is also good. Fun spot with cars and auto associated stuff all over. We sat under a car which changed colors and made for a cool effect. Portions are huge so order accordingly. We ordered a few appetizers and then each had an entrée and it was way too much to go around. They serve you chips with a creamy lime ranch type sauce and salsa when you sit down. Don't eat too many of those and fill up because the rest the food is good. We also tried wings several ways and hot ones were quite spicy. Had the 454 fried chicken and it was very hot, but not too hot, and the honey they served with it was a great accompaniment to cool down the heat. What a fun casual outing we had at Billy Blancos in Park City, Utah! Situated in a small strip mall not quite central to Park City, Billy Blanco's offers Mexican fare with an American twist. We were immediately in awe of the bike and vintage car motif throughout the restaurant. Upon being swiftly seated, our host appeared with their complimentary tortilla chips and salsa and creamy dips. The menu opens up to a good selection of offerings including fried chicken, fajitas, tacos, a host of salads, and ribs. We ordered the recommended 454 Fried Chicken (so moist and flavorful but not too greasy), Four Barrell Barbeque Ribs ('though advertised as a half rack of 4 ribs, we ended up with 8 large meaty ribs!), fajitas (standard but good), and the mango avocado salad (added chicken but could have done without). The food was slightly better than other similar national casual restaurants, but maybe with the fun atmosphere everything seemed that much better. As first timers, the outside of the restaurant can be quite deceiving. What looks like a dive bar from the outside opens into a modernized rendition of a 60s hole-in-the-wall with Hispanic influence. The wait staff was incredibly social and friendly and offered helpful advice about the menu. The decor was absolutely incredible, from the tables and chairs, wall decor, seating areas, and even bathrooms. Additionally, the chips and dips starter is a great addition (I would recommend the queso dip to add on). Even in the restrooms... which made me laugh. The handtowels look like shop rags :-) I ordered a margarita which was great! They serve complimentary chips and salsa in addition to some kind of tasty ranch dip. For my main course I ordered the chicken barbacoa burrito, enchilada style which was enough food for two meals. I decided to sub fries instead of the rice and beans. It was excellent. They did forget to make it enchilada style but fixed it right away. We will be back! read more

Still go here every week. Location is great. Different Manager all the time. With or without a name badge. Different food presentation. It's a wild card. Chips usually have salsa already on them. Bathrooms may be closed. If you arrive after 8 expect to have mops, brooms and trash cans coming by your table. It will not matter how busy it is. Your service will be slow. I hope this helps as I will continue to frequent this establishment even when their manager says "we close at 9 so that's how it is" when you are seated with an 8 top at 8. This spot is decently noisy so have no fear about speaking to loud or laughing too much with your party. We had a phenomenal waiter, I forget his name but I believe he said he was from London - WHAT A GUY! Super great, well mannered, very patient with our party being picky as hell, and was very proactive in attending to our group! The Margs were tasty, not strong at all but the flavor was there.
