Ate here a few days ago, forgot to post my revue, it said it was the best burger in Branson, well it was not bad but I would not venture to say the best. The fries were good but nothing special. The burger was a good size but lacked flavor, you can't get a refill on drinks yourself so waiting on waitress it took awhile to get one to get us a refill, others took it up to soda station to ask for one. Best food in Branson! It was a very very long wait, but it was definitely worth it. The burgers are the best I have ever tasted and the ice cream is delicious. My son loved the foot long chili dog. This place is the hidden gem of Branson. Every trip down, we go to this little burger joint connected to a gas station. The interior is straight out of the 1950's and everything is made from scratch, burgers, milkshakes, etc. Billy Bob himself walks around and talks to guests and the whole place is very friendly. A note on the food: I've never had anything there I didn't like. Burgers are the best - hand pattied, fresh, perfectly seasoned. You just don't see places like this anymore, and for the quality, they could charge twice as much as they do. The only con to this place is that it is TINY. If memory serves, they have 10 tables and 4 seats at the counter. Expect to wait for a seat if they are busy, and please don't try and pack a group of more than 10 in there. But, I feel like if they expanded, they might lose some of the magic of the place. Anyway, this is a must visit in Branson for sure. read more

This is a great place to get burgers. Just note the singles are HUGE!!! The fries are crispy and crinkle cut and the onion rings were awesome. Come hungry because the portions will leave you feeling stuffed. I did try a side of chili and it was delicious too. You can tell they use cinnamon which is the secret to the best chili. The restaurant itself is tiny, so I can only imagine during peak times it is hard to get into. The service was excellent and the place is clean. I watched the servers clean the tables, salt and pepper shakers, napkin holders, ketchup bottles, etc. every time the customers finished at a table. This place is easy to miss if you're not careful! It's in the same parking lot as the Shell station. If you pass it, turn back around! It's just a small, good old-time hamburger and malt shop. The single burgers are 1/2 pound of moist deliciousness! Thin crinkle cut fries were hot with a crispy exterior. Shakes and malts come in about a half dozen flavors. We couldn't even stay long enough to get our food before we left and took our business elsewhere. We sat there for about 15-20 minutes before someone took our orders and we waited another 10 minutes for drinks. There where groups that sat after us and got their food before we even got our drinks. Great service, good food, the place was clean and spotless and our server was hard-working and delightful. 9pm on a Friday night with a big baseball team outside but the workers still smiled and welcomed us, checked in frequently and treated us warmly. The lady cleaning the tables was very thorough: she cleaned between tables, wiped the sides of the napkin dispenser, even cleaned both sides of the menu. We waited a very long time for our table while they attended other people and when we walked it our order wasn't taken for another 20 minutes even while they were seating other people after us and took their orders first. I took the cap off and pointed it out to the girl who was probably the great granddaughter of owner. But she went by and by and by. So I walked up to the cafe counter and the owner, her daughter, and her daughter passed me. Finally, one of them asked if I needed and a refill and I said yes. Then walked away.
