When I first walked in we were totally ignored by the staff while we watch them seat three other groups that came in after us but were in church clothes (it was a Sunday). It took over 15 minutes for them just to take our drink orders . We watched group after group that came in after we were seated being waited on immediately and receiving their food before we even got our drink. When we asked to speak to the manager we got an old woman who I think owns it we were informed that our kind were not welcome there and that we should just leave. I was there with my three boys dressed in t-shirts and jeans and my husband was not with us. (We have never been treated badly when he was with us) I truly think she assumed i was a single mother when she told us we were not welcome there. This was an easy five star. My wife and I split a double cheese and it was big enough we were both full. Great tasting burger. Don't remember any tasting better. No funky spices just perfectly cooked burger. And the bread wasn't too thick to hide the burger taste. The onion rings were fabulous. We tried a couple of their fried pies, pecan and apple. Next time we will get a few more because these too were awesome. If I lived here there is no doubt this would be near the top of our goto restaurant list and the only place we'd go to for burgers. My husband and I chose Billy Bobs based on yelp reviews but were very disappointed by the food. We tried the chili cheese dog, fries, onion rings, chicken sandwich, bowl of chili, grilled cheese, and fried pies. Everything we tried was greasy, the chili actually had puddles of grease floating on top. The service was excellent but, unfortunately, nothing can make up for the greasy spoon style of food. I actually became sick on the short ride back to our condo. I don't know how they have so many good reviews because there is nothing special about their greasy diner food. read more

This place was so impressive. Okay so they have a foot long corn dog. The batter is amazing. The foot long chili cheese dog is what you want to get. It's awesome. Good onion rings. The fried pies are so yummy. I got the cherry, strawberry, chocolate, pecan, blackberry, coconut cream, Apple, and peach. My favorite favorite is the pecan. It is the best pecan I've ever had. In fact, I didn't like pecan pie until this place! The cherry & strawberry I wish had cream cheese (like the Amish bakeries). The blackberry was also to die for. Awesome shakes and chili dogs. They split a chocolate peanut butter shake for my daughter and me. It was more than enough for both of us and really thick. The hot dogs were split and grilled to perfection. The chili was rich and meaty with just the right amount of spice and topped with cheese. We loved this place! Burgers are so delicious, & we tried regular fries, sweet potato fries & onion rings, then had fried chocolate pie, chocolate shake& vanilla soft serve cone.. All of the good was great. My daughter had a corn dog that was like 6 inches long lol.The service wAs fast & friendly:). & the owner even brought our daughter a small snack of fries while we waited on our food. Simple and delicious burger with a toasted bun that had a perfect amount of crisp/crunch on the edges--not too much. We also had a delicious malt (hubby said it was the best he's ever had) that we asked them to do with chocolate and vanilla. It was our last meal in Branson and a great one all around. Food was McDonald's quality absolutely nothing special. The sever didn't come by for at least 15 min mean while we had to ask the hostess to get our drinks, when she finally came over she was rude as if we were too young to be there. Had trouble finding the place. (It's connected to a Shell gas station next to the Rib Crib.) Totally worth the extra effort it took us to locate it! Even went a second time during our weekend Branson trip. First, gotta say that pork tenderloin sandwiches are a tradition in my family and I take them seriously. The food was absolutely amazing!! My husband had a double cheeseburger and they were two full size huge burgers and he said they were delicious!! I had the grilled chicken salad and it was perfect. My kids had a corn dog and a grilled chicken sandwich. The hot dog inside the corn dog was humongous and juicy. My younger son was not impressed however with the grilled chicken sandwich - I tasted it and thought it was very good and it was the same chicken that was on my salad so I really liked it. The staff seems to be all family and they are super friendly. There is a line but we really didn't wait too too long. They were actually taking orders from people standing online to save time.
