I thought the burger was good enough to make it worth the stop if they aren't too busy but the service was kind of hectic. It was dressed well and very hot right off the flattop if a bit under seasoned, which other reviews mentioned. Personally I don't mind the plainer ground meat taste as long as there is mustard on the table, it's just that most flat cooked burgers are thin with more crust. The chili dogs and chili cheese fries were ok with the diner type chili which is way too greasy but it usually is at these places. I would say skip this place if they are very busy unless you have time to wait and it was hot in the restaurant, it was about 100F outside so it was bearable since we had been outside most of the day but yeah, kinda stuffy in there. I also have to say that I like the skinny crinkle cut food service fries people complain about but they're right about the onion rings, typical frozen beer batter that's a little tough compared to fresh but the place is tiny and they're doing good with the space they have. If you don't like or can't handle grease skip the chili, the burger is worth it, but avoid going if they're really busy. The fourth star is for the variety of fried pies and shakes. read more

Yes! Try this place if you like burgers and fries! We ordered the cheeseburger and fries basket and grilled chicken sandwich basket, but we upgraded the later basket to onion rings instead of fries. The burger was thick and delicious, and the fries were excellent! The grilled chicken was so moist and flavorful- even without mayo or sauce. The onion rings were the best we've ever had! Best burgers in town! Decorated like a 50's diner with some seating at the counter to watch them cook all the food! The tenderloin is my favorite, but my husband and kids like the 1/4 burgers and fries basket. They cook everything to order and if you like vanilla coke or limeades- they'll mix them up for you. We actually came here based on Dan C's review that we found searching on Yelp for "best burgers" , and by far this is the best hamburger in Branson. We always ask if the burgers are fresh or frozen. Our server explained that all of the burgers are 1/2 pound and fresh and they are hand patted and can be cooked as you request (rare to medium well if you request). What impressed me most about this place was how clean it was from the bathrooms to the tables to the ketchup and mustard bottles and salt and pepper shakers. They were customer focused and friendly and we loved the nostalgia of the juke box and the pictures on the wall - the black and white floor and metal tables. We had a hamburgers, a chocolate shake and onion rings and felt like we were 17 years old again. The address listed is from 5 years ago we had to call them for directions they are now between the Rib Crib and 66 gas station at 1901 W 76 Country Highway. You will love this place! read more

Came in at one on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed! We ordered the burger and foot long hotdog with fries and onion rings. The burger was absolutely delicious. It tasted like a half pound In n Out burger for those of us from So Cal. So juicy and cooked done (as all ground beef should be). The fries and rings were okay. My daughter's chili dog on a toasted and buttered bun was HUGE and she devoured as much as she could. Next time I will try a fried pie or a sundae or malt. This was a very pleasant find in Branson! On the outside, it doesn't look like much - very small and attached to a gas station. But they deliver a good quality burger and fries in addition to very good portion sizes! I had the double cheese burger and it was delicious! My husband was hungry, so he got the double cheeseburger with bacon on it... but he probably should have stuck to a single patty. Their burgers are huge! Probably a 1/2 lb of meat per patty. The food is alright but not good enough to justify the terrible service. The staff is extremely rude. Multiple times we have been there and they just seem so annoyed that they have to help. Today we tried calling in a to go order and the lady hung up on me the first time and when I called back she asked me to hold, then sat the phone down and I heard her say "ugh, a to go order". After she left me there for 7 minutes I hung up and went elsewhere. I wish decent customer service wasn't a lost art form. read more
