Burgers were delicious. Onion rings were, according to my sister, "oh my gosh, so good". Staff was so friendly. We had my niece and nephew here, and they went out of their way to bring them little snacks while we waited for our food. Atmosphere was classic for a diner, which added to the whole experience. Poor quality and overpriced, especially if you have kids. I'm more upset with those who rate this so high, than the nice staff there. On a hot day expect this place to be hot inside. Fortunately, a fan was on full blast right by our table which kept the flies away. We will easily remember to avoid this place on future trips. read more

This Place has the WORST SERVICE I don't know about their food they never served it to me since they were too busy helping the locals get seated to service me. I must of waited 30 minutes the woman kept saying it will be just a minute. After ordering I sat down then moved two more times to accommodate others. I told the woman I was going to my car and wait please let me know when my order is ready. No doubt she forgot about me after waiting for 10-15 minutes in my car. I would probably give it a 3.5 star because the service was good, the wait time was good, the food was decently good. If you want a burger that tastes really homemade with very little glamour, this is a perfect place. The peanut butter milkshake was averagely good (hard to mess up PB and Ice Cream). The decor, when I went, was hokey and perfect for Branson "charm". Its not a classy joint, but its much better than some of the awful restaurants some criminals open up in Branson, so I give it one and a half thumbs up. I would go back, but there are better burgers nearby so it would not be my number one choice. If you like joints that are very homey, grandmothery, this place seems to be perfect. read more

The double cheeseburger is the way to go here. Two full-size patties cooked to perfection, juicy and delicious. It will fill you up, guaranteed. The place was very full of patrons that all showed up at the same time on a bus. The server was doing a great job of making all feel as welcome as she could. We stopped in because they were the only place in all of Branson that had Pecan pie. We ordered and were told that it would be "deep fried", sounded unique, only to find that it was a frozen pie that you could buy in the freezer section of your local food store. This was a great little diner. People were waiting outside the door. They are very efficient in rotating people in and out and have a good system going. I had a cheeseburger and chili dog. The chili on the hot dog was fantastic. It was definitely not from a can. The cheeseburger was great as well. It was a large hand formed meat patty cooked well done. They offer tater tots and sweet potato waffle fries as an alternative to French fries if you so choose. Don't forget to order a shake while you are there as they are delicious! read more

I really can't get why all the high reviews here. The food is average at best. It's frozen food cooked on a grill. I've been here twice and both times the quality was the same. The last time our server played on her phone in the hall and was pretty much MIA, which was annoying trying to get her attention. We are part time locals and I would never recommend this place, because there are much better choices. Plus, they don't take credit cards, only cash or checks. Overpriced for the quality. read more

I love these greasy spoon type of joints! We only had the dairy side of the menu since this trip was an after dinner mint. It was obvious after talking to a gent that was a "usual" that we screwed up on our dinner selection (Andy Williams Moon River). I so wanted to eat again but I am watching my girlish figure so I had to settle for a chocolate dip cone, which was freaking fantastic!
