This place is on Fremont street experience. You can walk in and seat yourself which is kind of nice, it was 2am when we did it. Our server was there with in seconds took our order and brought our drinks out immediately. It is kind of noisy since it is inside the casino. The food was nothing to write home about but was not bad. They do give a good serving of food though. It will fill you up. We ordered the club an it was a large sandwich and came with fries. Great little cafe inside Binion's Casino to stop by and grab food. Very reasonable prices and friendly staff. My husband, daughter and myself stopped in for a late dinner after sightseeing at The Mob museum. We built up an appetite and were famished. Binion's Cafe is fairly close and it was convenient. They validate your parking ticket in the cafe. We were seated at a table by a unfr hostess and handed menus to peruse. My husband ordered the hangover burger that is served with a fried egg on top. My daughter ordered eggs, bacon and no toast. I chose the Philadelphia cheese steak sandwich with coleslaw. My husband's burger was supposed to have hash browns but it came out with coleslaw. He reminded the waitress and she reassured him she would get him the hash browns but those never appeared. The food is what it is: typical diner fare. My steak in my sandwich was overdone and black on a lot of it. I normally don't write negative reviews but this one is an exception. I think the food is sub par and over priced. The service wasn't not good. We will not be returning. The cafe is in need of a makeover. Granted it is an old casino but it definitely shows its age and the employees seem to have poor customer service skills at best. read more

This is not my first time dinning here however I felt it was time to leave a review. Atmosphere: It is a basic set up nothing spectacular but it was clean. The tables are low and makes it rather uncomfortable to eat as you have to lean down to get to your food. The kitchen is open so you are able to see your food being prepared. Atmosphere gets 3 stars Service: The service was average nothing to write home about. Our first water was delivered swiftly as well as the first refill the 3rd, 4th and 5th took longer to be refilled. It took us nudging our glasses towards the end of the table to get them refilled. The food was deilvered in a timely manner. However I was a little perturbed at the end of our meal as I did not finish my biscuits and gravy I asked for a to go box. The boxes were delivered but no bag one of the staff offered to get a bag, as she was bagging up my leftovers she dropped my food all over the floor. There was no offer to replace the food. It took me telling the cashier what happened to even get an offer to replace my food. Thankfully a staff member named Julia took care of the situation and replaced my food. 3 stars for overall service but 5 stars for Julia as she went above and beyond to make me happy Just a side note I don't think staff members should be walking around with wireless headphones around their neck while working. Perhaps if her concentration was on her job and not her music she would not have dropped my food on the floor. Food: I ordered the biscuits and gravy and the grilled cheese. The biscuits and gravy were absolutely phenomenal. The biscuits were fluffy and soft. The gravy was a smokey ham gravy with plenty of ham. The grilled cheese was rather underwhelming. The cheddar was not melted but just soft in textured. The garlic and parmesan cheese in the outside of the bread was burnt. The individual who took our order asked if I wanted coleslaw, potato salad or fries with my sandwich. I opted for the fries, however the waitress neglected to inform me that there was an upcharge for fries. 1.49 is not a big deal but it would be nice if something was said. The world (or at least Las Vegas) needs more places like Binion's Cafe. It is a place serving good comfort food at reasonable prices. I miss the era when every casino had a nice diner/coffee shop like this. Staff was efficient yet friendly. Even the cashier was super friendly on the way out. I could have easily eaten every meal of the day here. Well almost, they are closed for a few hours each night. If they were open 24 hours it'd be even more perfect. I had the ribeye steak and eggs. The steaks here are cut in their on site butcher shop. It was an ok piece of meat. Passable for a diner, but not steakhouse quality. However, the eggs and hash browns were exactly what you'd want from a diner. My friend had the pot roast. I had a taste and thought it was really good. This was my first time at this establishment and it was a nice place to stop by for a quick bite for brunch. Upon our arrival, the hostess who was helping us was not welcoming and could've been more courteous. She repeatedly bumped into members of my party instead of politely excusing herself, which calls for less than 5 star service. The food was decent. If you're hungry, it will taste good. I ordered the linguine and meatballs with the house salad and ranch. The house salad was good, although the cherry tomatoes added to the salad were a bit soft and squishy-- not the freshest. The pasta itself was not flavorful. The spaghetti sauce was very watery and was bland. I added some salt and it tasted a little better afterwards. The meatballs were not special in any way; they also lacked flavor. The garlic bread that came with the meal was probably the best part of this with good seasoning. My friend ordered the lemon zest chicken and the chicken was delicious! It was smothered in pesto sauce and it was very yummy-- something I would get if I were to ever come again. Plus we were tired of working around looking for a spot. Two of us ordered Philly cheesesteaks which were good but we felt too full and heavy afterwards. Real food, real conversation, really standard cuisine. This review is long overdue, about a month and a half to be exact. This was my secret spot for peaceful meals and funny conversations after each night of the Life is Beautiful festival. I also parked my car here and would get it validated after each meal, which I'm assuming they will change this for next year. The last day of the festival, parking attendants were getting wise to the real use of their spaces, and trust me it wasn't for the nickel slots. This place is not fancy, not pretty, but it gets the job done. From Thursday to Sunday I was parked at the cafe counter, usually around 1am, ordering everything your fitness trainer yells at you for eating: chicken fried steak, chili cheese dogs, the lumberjack breakfast, chicken fingers, and for good measure some type of fried westernized version of an egg roll. The standard color scheme of each meal usually landing somewhere between gray and brown on the spectrum. Still, I savored each bite like it was my last. Yes, this food is terrible for you, but who wants to order a salad in the wee hours of the morning? The service was good. I ordered food and it promptly came. This no frills style of eating can be enjoyable especially with the right company. I was usually solo when eating here so I would chat with my fellow snackers. Mostly old school gentlemen who would complained about how Vegas has lost it's "class". Apparently this dude has never witnessed the people dressed up as cardboard Transformers and bootleg Pixar characters on Las Vegas Blvd. In-all seriousness the guy has a point. Alright so we were downtown Fremont enjoying a fun date night out and happened to smell the burgers a sizzling over at Binion's cafe. We were hungry and remembered the yummy burger we had last time. Our service and experience from the previous visit was horrendous and we decided to give the Cafe another shot! We decided to stroll through and check out the wait and to our surprise there was no line and plenty of open seats. We grabbed a seat at the bar and were greeted by the main cook who is Awesome! He took really good care of us all of the way through, kept our drinks filled and even chatted with us for a bit. The burgers were delicious and our tab was low so you can't beat that with a stick! The food is good but the service is awful. Most of the staff were friendly and attentive. The lady who took our order was very impatient. Bad experience to start with. Later on she probably forgot our order, all other tables came in after us were served. Some even finished their good and we were still waiting for ours. Look, I'm just gonna say it, folks. Best chicken breast tenders in Vegas. Thick, moist and juicy, nicely breaded with a perfect amount of crunch. We make a special trip to Binion's anytime we're in LV specifically for these strips. Please don't ever change the recipe! Almost everything we've ever had here is pretty darn good. My only gripe is the fries; they're meh. And as a fellow Yelper mentioned- don't let the low prices here fool you with regards to food quality. This place is a hidden gem among old school diner food. A nitty gritty cafe filled with drunk-loud tourists. Seat yourself. I come here for the bean of the day soup and hamburgers. The soup is beany-creamy and contains chunks of pork. The warm corn bread muffins and butter are a treat. For me its comfort food. The hamburger is an over 4 inch patty, though thin, juicy. Order it as you like. This business listing might as well be called Binion's Cafe-The Third Incarnation on account of the fact that this is the third location of the Binions Cafe. Before this one opened up in the Winter of 2014, there was a self serve Binion's Cafe where you would order at the counter then bring the food to your table. Going back even further there was a full service Binion's Cafe down the stairs in the northeast corner of the casino. This was the Binion's Cafe that I grew to love and that the new Binion's Cafe couldn't hold a candle to. This was in the days when the majority of the casino cafes offered a vast menu with reasonably priced delicious food served all hours of the day. The limited menu at today's Binion's Cafe is a skeleton of the original location's. Gone are the Chinese food specials, prime rib specials, and a few more menu pages of food. And with all this said, when I recently dined in the new Binion's Cafe it was an ordinary experience with memories of extraordinary dining experiences in the first location. Time flies by so fast that it feels like yesterday that I gave a tip that Binion's Casino (the hotel is presently dark) is going through a refurbishment. The refurbishment included the relocation of Binion's Cafe in early 2014. Blending in with the casino, the cafe was designed with brick walls interspersed with pictures of old Las Vegas and video menus. It was on a recent Saturday night chilling out on Fremont Street that I stepped behind these brick walls for dinner. I can't complain or compliment the hostess owing to the fact that there was none. The sign said "seat yourself," and the two in my party did just that. Two would be the number of the night. The menu was two pages. And there were two issues with phone service being that this is a Verizon dead spot and there was no WiFi. Within a few minutes of seating ourselves, our server Jerry introduced himself and from that point forward the poor man provided decent service. I say poor man because the table of drunk people that sat themselves in back of us were harassing him. That brings up the point that when dining off the Fremont Street Experience it is a strong possibility that the restaurant your dining in could suddenly take on the environment of a Junior High school cafeteria. When I perused the menu, I was thinking to myself that this is not Old School Las Vegas. On the night that I visited there were zero signs of a prime rib special, steak and shrimp special, or any value. As a matter of fact the five entrees that I saw required an additional $1.99 for a soup or salad. There were zero entrees that caught my eye. I resorted to the World Famous Binion's Burger. The World Famous Binion's Burger started off at $5.95. The deal is that it came with potato chips or potato salad. Personally I like French fries with my burger. Substituting fries added an additional $1.49. The deal is that I also like cheese on my burger. That was an additional $1.25. Bottomless Coke was not included. The Binion's website alleges that every burger is made daily at Binion's Butcher Shop (Where!?), never frozen and prepared to order. I allege that the World Famous Binion's Burger was solid yet nothing exceptional. Just like the cafe that serves it. After paying the bill and walking towards the neon lights of Fremont Street, I left with some thoughts on Binion's Cafe. I think that the new Binion's Cafe is a shadow of its former self. Most importantly I think that their menu needs to be expanded with more entrees and specials. What is a Las Vegas casino cafe without a prime rib special? It wouldn't be a bad idea to hire a hostess to greet the guests. Isn't this Las Vegas? My ultimate thought is that there are zero redeeming qualities that would lead me to go out of my way to eat in the third incarnation of the Binion's Cafe. read more

I would go back simply bc of how we were treated by the staff. Nothing wrong with the food just not a stand out. Food was good enough for us to fill up and get back out and have some Vegas fun.
