You have to swipe your debit or credit card first before you can order, but for some reason it was not working for 3 of us there. Mixed reviews - meh on Meati but yay on chicken Meati Nashville chicken sandwich was very greasy and the Meati product itself was not that great. However, the pickles, sauce, and bread were on point. I ate half of the Meati and ended up eating the bread and pickles without the Meati because it was so meh. An hour later I had major heartburn from the grease in the sandwich. My boyfriend had the regular chicken - southwest sandwich and another friend had the regular chicken Nashville extra hot sandwich. They both raved about their chicken. So I think it's overall good and worth a try for people who like to eat animals. But if you don't eat meat, well I guess try it for yourself. I won't be back. But I know my friends who eat chicken will be back so mostly this review is for people who don't eat meat. We were lucky enough to be a part of the soft opening and everything was great! The chicken was perfectly cooked, crunchy, and flavorful. The frosé was like a strawberry daiquiri in a cute tiki mug. Wanted to try out the new chicken restaurant in the 'hood. It's a beautiful rehabbed building but the food was just okay. First, the ordering is done using a kiosk that is right inside the door. So there is a bottleneck as people try to figure out how to order. As my other reviews indicate, I hate self order kiosks. (Why tell someone your order when you can do it yourself in just 11 easy steps) So that is already a negative. The chicken sandwich was okay. Not great but okay. I love tater tots but not these. I won't go back. The way you order is different and nobody helps you. First time there and you don't know if you have to order sauce, or will it be dry. Don't know if they get your drink or if you use the fountain. If you can use the fountain why do you have to pic a drink. Then the Que is unique but you have to realize it exists. 10-minute wait, we were there at 11:00, not busy. The tater tots were unique and I didn't like them. They also gave me the wrong sandwich. I went to Birdcall's soft opening this afternoon and it was DELICIOUS! It's a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere. Fun music, good good, yummy shakes and some margaritas! AJ helped me out and she did a wonderful job explaining the kiosk and keepimng the restaurant clean. She had a huge smile on her face which made it more fun for me. Every thing about the experience was amazing. I'm not one to realy like "self guided" ordering systems but theirs is super easy to navigate and Chelsea was there to assist with any questions I had She even recommended the Brussel spout salad.. which was amazing and I would have never tried on my own. I got the southern and you could tell the pimento cheese spread was freshly made and the whole thing manages to be both light and filling. I really love the seasoning on the tater tots as well and they are delicious dipped in the bird-b-que sauce. I dined outside and a lovely young man named Josiah took time on his break to help me carry my stuff to my table and then before going back in checked on me to make sure I was enjoying my meal. The patio outside is well enough away from the street that you don't get alot of traffic noise etc so it doesn't take away from the experience. Over all the entire experience from start to finish was just perfect I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in... cared for during my stay and the food was amazing. It's my new favorite chicken sandwhich spot for sure. They give you a good-sized piece of chicken that isn't too breaded and has great flavor. Their pickles are way better than that of chic-fil-a or popeyes. They have a wide-variety of sides and different shake flavors. They also serve alcohol and you can add a shot in your shake if you want. The staff is very friendly too. Must I go on?? That made for a really dry and boring sandwich. My expectation would be for them to know I was trying them out with the coupon and they would try with service and good food to get me to return.
