I love the sandwiches and atmosphere at Birdcall. I have never had a bad experience and the place is clean and cool inside. The customer service is amazing and the product is fantastic. My only complaint is the relentless upselling feature they have on their ordering system. I understand you want to push the most profitable items but 4 upsell opportunities when ordering one sandwich is just offensive. Please stop this practice. I will be back either way but it is super annoying and I have mentioned it to staff members in the past. No drinks were provided with our order from the numbered "bay" where you fetch your food. The dining room is utterly chaotic with the children running every which way. I'm glad we have what appears to be a going concern in our neighborhood but they really need to get it together. I t probably would've been better to dine in and much earlier in the day. I love that there's a big screen that shows you when your food is going to be ready and where to pick it up at. The second time I went, was this Wednesday, after an event, I was starving, I decided to order the five piece chicken tenders, and I got a couple extra sauces on the side and then I ordered a frosé. I love their chicken tenders because they're not just wimpy boring tenders of chicken, they've got crunch, they've got flavor, and they are hearty. Once again, very nice staff, very attentive, and good about seeing if we had questions or needed anything. The food its self was good but the fries were over salted. The price of the food was too high for the amount of food given. I've been going to the Phoenix location since it opened. For me he suggested a Nashville Hot crispy sandwich and let me tell you 100/10. I watched Steven interact with customers and he is the epitome of awesome customer service. Cool up beat spot! Came in to a kiosk (not my favorite) however Savannah was a rockstar. She didn't rush me and was very polite! I appreciated the help. It is busy and they play good music. Finally tried Birdcall after passing by a few times and sparking curiosity. To begin with, the interior and exterior of the restaurant are cute and welcoming. You would never guess this place used to be a Burger King. Upon entering, there are self service kiosks for ordering. You must first swipe your card and then proceed with your order. The staff is quick to inform you of this process if you've never been before. After ordering, your name displays on a screen with the estimated time for your order to be ready. The selection isn't huge but it's decent for a chicken restaurant. The food was decent but nothing to write home about, I've definitely had better chicken elsewhere. Their chicken nuggets have a bit of a sweet taste. Perhaps they marinate the chicken in a sweet sauce before cooking? The chicken sandwiches are a bit small for the price. The tater tots were good but I was told the fries tasted like oil and nothing else. I won't say I won't return again, but this place would probably be lower on my options than others in the area. read more
