I still rate this place 4 stars and love the food - see previous review - however I have some new thoughts about the dining room experience. Most times I come here I get the food as a takeaway. Every time I have tried to dine in, something really annoying happens that turns me off from returning for a few months. The problems are more around rude tourists and Amazon workers with no damn manners really :) The place has really limited seating - so the people dining there really need to be thoughtful community minded types or it becomes a s***show. Biscuit bitch is set up to flow kind of like a ramen restaurant (a quick flowing Japanese ramen place not a foofy $49 per bowl American place) people pop in, buy counter food, sit down and eat it and get on their way. The limited seating demands people do this and even bus their own tables. Sadly I have seen tourists and entire Amazon work teams treat it as if it's a reservation type restaurant, where you bring 8 people in a group and expect to sit together, dine and then chill having a team meeting for 20 minutes after. These people really need to go make a reservation for a 6-10 top table at dahlia lounge or something. Doing this in biscuit bitch is inconsiderate, out of touch and in my opinion a display of a complete lack of awareness. Since the seating is limited a team will approach the place send one guy in the line to buy everyone's food, meanwhile sneak 6 people in the exit door to go sit ahead of time and hold seats for when the food is done. So if you are in line or waiting for your food you already paid for, planning to dine in you will find there is nowhere to sit an actually eat because a flock of tourists or a office team has occupied all of the empty seats behind your back. Completely rude and unaware people devoid of social graces. I went there the other morning and was sitting by the window having a really pleasant time really - when I look up and notice I got these two guys on either side of me hovering like parasitic vultures waiting for me to get up so they could take my seat and hold the entire bar for their group. Nothing more annoying than sitting there trying to enjoy your food and having two people standing over you breathing down your neck. This one guy, one of those non-descript Seattle shave head old guys in a North Face / REI full wardrobe (the Seattle beginners wardrobe) was so close to me standing up that I could smell his awful morning breath. Right when I'm about to ask the cocker if he could go sit down somewhere and stop standing over me he has the nerve to ask if I can pick up my stuff and move to a seat that just opened up on the other side of the restaurant so his group could sit together. Come the f*** on man - it's not that type of place. He annoyed me so much I decided I won't be dining around such unaware hicks so I tossed my food and took myself to a restaurant where I could sit at a table and eat my food without some idiot stalking my seat. After that I had a lovely meal downtown at a new place. Should Biscuit Bitch do more to police this? I can't say. I love their food so I won't reduce my star score because people are unaware hillbillies - however I absolutely wont ever try to eat here again dining in and can't recommend. I rolled up to this place and was saddened by the line. Hungry wife waiting in the car a bit of a hike away. "Should I stay or should I go now?" played in my head. I had heard great things, but the hunger pangs had already begun in both mine and my wife's stomachs. I stayed. And I am now a better person for it. We got a bacon bitchwich (for wife, added spam) and I got the Gritty scrambled cheesy bitch. Wife was impressed with the freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the biscuit. The fatal mistake I made with mine, I believe, is adding spam and grilled onions. Allow me to clarify. Once I dug through the generous helpings of spam, eggs, and grits, I revealed the lovely biscuit which deserves more of a spotlight. I was a silly bitch. I got the Hot Mess Bitch, while my friends got a sweet biscuit and a biscuit sandwich. The biscuits themselves are baked well, good crust, good buttery flavor that complements whatever is on top. The Hot Mess had spicy links that were both tasty and spicy. The gravy is phenomenal as well. The sweet biscuit (I don't remember the name) wasn't nearly as memorable, and I wouldn't get it again. My friend also got the ham and egg sandwich, which I'd definitely do again. There's a few tables inside but luckily the weather permitted outside seating. It really seems more of a order to go place though. The long line quickly disappeared once they got their food. So how do I describe my food trip, Let's start with the biscuit. This biscuit was just the right amount of moisture and crustiness that I appreciate in good biscuits. When you bite into it it kinda sticks in your mouth then melts a bit and it's perfect. The mushroom gravy was warm, thick and delicious. It complimented the biscuit really well and went with the vegetarian sausage patty things. I was also able to try my friends hot link on theirs and it tasted like a hot link to me. The location is pretty small so if you're looking to sit down & eat you'll have to wait and hope something becomes available as it is seat yourself style. Otherwise I have no complaints. Fun and energetic environment. The prices are reasonable ranging from $6 -$12 dollars. Word of caution after you order if you can't find a seat go outside because you will be yelled at (nicely) because of the "fire hazard" created. I've tried the smokin hot bitch and the bitchwich with gravy. Could not get enough . I am not a morning person but I willingly got myself up this morning just to go try this place and I was not disappointed. The staff was super friendly and even recommended a menu item to me that was close to what I wanted when the original item I wanted wasn't there anymore. We saw them making biscuits fresh as we were waiting for our food. Everything tasted amazing! I 100% recommend this place to anyone who comes to the area. I really don't understand why people wait an hour for a dry biscuit and eggs.
