What can I say about this place. We are new to Glendale and saw Biscuits Cafe right by our apartment so we thought we would give it a shot. Wow! First of all the service is second to none. Secondly the portions are HUGE. The atmosphere is great, and the bar is nice. The bartender was very friendly and we shared a story about his mom living in my hometown for a bit. The food is delicious, prices are very fair and the portions again. Wow. We have been there twice now in 2 weeks and will probably be our Saturday morning stop. Thank you team Biscuits. read more

Karen is the best!!! She was so kind to our big dog and didn't mind that we were the only customers on their shaded patio. She was very attentive. We actually went to Biscuits Cafe twice during our 2-day stay in Glendale, AZ (Stayed to watch a spring training baseball game). Pictures are from our first visit to this restaurant. Everything was thoughtfully prepared. Good corned beef, house made strawberry jam, biscuits, pancakes, tasty bacon, properly prepared eggs...Great hot tea service with lots of choices. Recommend getting a fresh cinnamon roll as a shared appetizer. We will definitely come back here for breakfast/brunch the next time we are in town. read more

Searched out a local place while spending some time in the Phoenix area and came across this gem in Glendale. Super busy but was able to grab a spot at the bar. I placed my order with the attentive bartender. Went with their meat omelette with red potatoes and biscuits. I was not disappointed as I went with their namesake as my carbohydrate. The biscuits were dry BUT they serve with plenty of butter homemade jam they get from a purveyor out of state. Really quality meal and I was full till dinner. This spot looks nice inside and has a lot of space for large parties as well! The place was busy but was able to get my party of 2 seated right away! I ordered the Joes Scramble and my daughter in law ordered the Fruity Pebbles French Toast. The food was really good and they gave us PLENTY! We both left with to go boxes. The strawberry jam was SOOOO tasty!! I actually would buy it. The only reason that I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is because the restaurant had quite a few gnats that were flying around that I had to keep fighting off. It was also raining so this could have played a role in the reason the gnats were around. Other than that, it was great! I will come here again. I'm not sure if they have a live DJ for brunch on the weekends but if they DO or WILL.....then this would be the ideal brunch spot for me!! read more

Love this place it's very cute and homey. All the staff if very friendly and helpful they treat the guest as guest and not just customers. The food is to die for with larger portions. My favorite is the beast Benedict. And when I need an extra boost of energy try the hot chocolate coffee. Lots of booths in the restaurant and a good variety of draft beers. This is a perfect family friendly place. But if there's an event in the area try to get there early. The only downside I'd say is the food is a little slow to come out but I think that's due to the larger portions There is also a lingering smell of monomer from the nail salon next door so if you want to avoid that sit on the right side not left. read more

The team at Biscuits was so warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The location is clean and modern with an excellent use of the space. Service was a bit slow but they make it really clear they value quality over timelines. Although the food was fresh and generally delicious, the red breakfast potatoes were really bland. Great breakfast/brunch spot to take a small group or family. Lots of people seemed to be enjoying their Mimosa and coffee flights, even saw a few margaritas overflowing with bacon and pickled things. I really liked that they had a small vegan section on their menu that included options for a French toast plate, breakfast burrito, or a southwest scramble. I chose the breakfast burrito and a strawberry lemonade and was super happy with both. I even made my wife try the sour cream and burrito to make sure they were vegan and she said it tasted good too but could slightly tell it was plant based. The restaurant is inviting, the staff are friendly, and the food was delicious. On this visit we all shared chicken/ waffles, pancakes,hash browns, bacon, French toast, cinnamon roll, and a side of gravy. Everything was served fresh and hot and was absolutely delicious, and the portions are large enough to share, you'll probably have leftovers, we did. We came for brunch the other day. The parking lot was packed, so we thought there'd be a wait, but it wasn't too crowded inside and we were seated right away. Hubby got a Coffee Flight, which consisted of Mocha, Cinnamon, Caramel and Peppermint. He's not a Peppermint fan, so he switched that one out for another Mocha. He liked the idea of tasting them and they looked really nice. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I passed on it. He really enjoyed the flavors. He also ordered the Breakfast Burrito with potatoes. It was a sizable burrito and the potatoes were cooked really well...he loved his meal. I got the BYOB (Build Your Own Breakfast)...2 Biscuits, 2 Eggs (poached) and Bacon (well done). Everything was cooked the way I wanted them to be. The biscuits were fresh (it's in their name, they better be good!) and buttery. It was served with a side of whipped butter and strawberry jam. I had one biscuit with my eggs, the second one I cut open, slathered with the jam and filled with my lovely, crispy bacon...yummy!!!!!! The service was very good and everyone was so friendly. We used to come here when it was Then Burger, and were a bit surprised when we saw that they had closed and were opening up the Biscuits Cafe (I believe they're run by the same company). There were a few updates in the decor, but it was mainly the same. All I can say is, we're looking forward to coming back here for another lovely brunch! read more

This place was inviting, cozy and welcoming. Food was exquisite, we had an omelet, a scramble, a waffle and the chicken fries steak. The gravy was something to write home about, delicious. The chicken fried steak was something of the best I've had. Omelet was jammed pack with goodness! The scramble was perfectly scrumdiddlyumptious. Well I was excited to try Biscuits, the staff was very friendly, it was very empty at 730 am. Clean and comfortable. My table had coffee, not well liked tasted off. We had eggs Benedict, was said to be pretty good, French toast and bacon was reported as very good, I had beef hash, eggs over easy and hash browns w sour dough, eggs were cooked perfectly, hash was good, cooked well, hash browns were cooked as ordered, extra crispy. If biscuits is in the name of your place, you better bring your biscuit game. Overall the food was pretty good, not great. Service and atmosphere were great and the place was busy. I really was excited about visiting Bisquits Cafe... then when I walked in the noise level was unreal. The music was way more than it should have been for 8am. I thought to myself I am here for the food so I will try to grin and bear it. We had two in our party and there is a small bench for those waiting to be seated. If you have a large party you will be forced to wait outside in the Arizona sun. No shade nearby by the way. We stood for 20 minutes and then the bench was available. My 80 year old mother was happy. We did wait 40 minutes for our table. Metal chairs in case you're wondering. Not butt friendly to say the least. Our waitress took our order. And then we waited another 25 -30 minutes for our food. Now my mom's Vegetable Omelette was very good although she was hoping for more than two small pieces of avocado. Her hash browns were nice and crispy and delicious. I had the very lackluster bland tasting breakfast sandwich. Took a couple bites and pushed my plate aside. I couldn't stand to have it in front of me I was so unhappy. The coffee was hot but we had to look for someone to get refills which was disappointing. I don't think I will be giving Biscuits another try. read more

Biscuits Cafe was a little bit of a let down, we got sat right away which was great, the coffee was pretty watered down and they took a good 10 mins to bring us creamer. I ordered the chilaquiles plate my wife ordered the avocado toast. She said the bread wasn't toasted at all just warmed and the avocado was pretty plain. The chilaquiles were ok the salsa was not that great seemed like it was canned not fresh with a pretty bland flavor.
