We went to biscuits for an amazing meal! The service was great and staff was super friendly. The biscuits and homemade strawberry jam was fabulous. My husband surprised me Sunday morning. We arrived at Buiscuits Café. It was around 12 PM. requested a table, the wait was about five minutes in reality it only took two minutes. Service was fast and efficient. Food was ran out at a timely manner. They are not shy with their portions so I hope you're hungry lol. Okay, let's gets down to biscuits! We ordered a side of Biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were very soft and fluffy and almost melted in our mouths. We had the Chicken Fried Steak with a side of pancakes. Delicious!! My only complaint ... I ordered Poached eggs medium. They arrived iced cold and runny. Clearly they made them and sat in the pass while my husbands entree was being cooked. I'm a little mixed feelings on my visit to Biscuits Cafe. First off I was highly surprised when we pulled up a little after noon on a Sunday and the parking lot was empty. I had to double check there hours cause I thought they were closed but they were opened. As you could see from my picture it was very empty with only 2 other tables taken. Another surprise was how long it took for us to be greeted and then seated. For as empty as it was we should've been greeted within seconds and seated right away. Once we got seated our server was very kind and friendly. My next surprise was the prices!! $6.29 for flavored Lemonade with no refills. I could understand if there was alcohol in but it was just Lemonade. As far as food, we ordered the Keeping it Simple where you pick 3 items to build your plate. We choose the French toast, Pancake and Ham steak. This plate was delicious. For the amount of food that came on the plate, it was worth the price. We also ordered the BBQ Bacon Western Burger. This burger was massive! It was made for a great Instagram photo but definitely not made to easily eat. I had to remove a lot of the insides just so I can attempt to but it. Then when I went to take a bit the bread was so hard I couldn't even boot into it. My knife wouldn't even cut it. So I ate it like an open faced sandwich. I must say though, our server was very apologetic and they did take care of it. These might be reasons why it was empty on a Sunday afternoon. To be honest, we probably won't be back. read more

We stopped here while on vacation in Phoenix. We asked to sit outside and we had the most wonderful waitress. She was attentive and helpful when we asked questions about the menu. Service was ok, the food was nothing to write home about. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich & fries. The sandwich came out and the fries took another 10 minutes. By the time the fries came out I was half done with the sandwich. The grilled chicken hard a overly charred taste, the chicken had black pieces on it .. burnt pieces probably from something else that was cooked & the grilled not cleaned. I overheard the couple in front of me complain that their food was cold when it arrived. They told me the service & food they got was horrible & my experience was similar. **TIP YOUR SERVER WITH CASH IN HAND** I have been to this Biscuits location two times already and the servers are excellent, food is good (today we had an extremely long wait for the food but that's understandable with knowing how everyone is understaffed right now) but the check out process is the WORST! We love tipping especially more for great service and the lady pressed the "no tip" button for us two visits in a row now. Like dude can you please slow down and let us add our tip? Then she said she will tip her for us- really? Are you really going to leave a nice tip? Can we request the amount? It was just ridiculous. I feel sorry for now two of our servers and I will now owe two servers a tip next time I go back. The first server wasn't there today- maybe she was sick of getting shafted. Other than that- the veggie omelette is good- chicken fajita omelette was bad and the biscuits are good- Strawberry jam is FIRRRRE! And the sourdough toast was fabulous. Just be careful with checking out. Oh and she will try to run your card again without canceling the first transaction. Don't fall for it. We stopped in here this morning to get breakfast while our car was getting worked on and noticed some new things on the menu. A French toast flight. And most importantly a bacon flight. Plus a new drink which was for the summer which was Grenadine, curaçao and lemonade but I got sprite in it instead. And a sugared rim. It was yummy!! I was greeted and seated very professionally by GM Linda(well dressed by the way). Server Lori provided excellent service. I had the spicy chorizo omelette which is large and yummy. It came with hash browns and the aforementioned biscuits. The prices are very reasonable for the large portions and sides. The dining area is very homey and comfy. Went to Biscuits Cafe not knowing what to expect with recent reviews... but my son had been asking to go for a while as he loves their cinnamon rolls. So I decided to surprise them on their day off of school. Diane was amazing! She was attentive and we had great service! Well my first time here and I have to say it was alright. Honestly the place looks great compared to the old restraunt that was here. The menu is food lots of options. The service was also good. Food came out in a decent time. One thing I really enjoyed is the coffe hot chocolate mix they have on menu delicious. Also there biscuits here are fresh made... to die for they are freaking good. There potatoes are not fresh you can taste the difference and well just say the chicken fried steak is not the best I have ever had. One would think Biscuits Cafe would have this duo flying off the shelf but do they? Ordered the biscuits & gravy breakfast and it was a total bust. Gravy is HORRIBLE! So thick one could lay bricks with it and use like mortar. Tasteless! The lack of flavor comes from the sausage. Do you all boil it and then sear? There is not one ounce of seasoning in it. Would highly recommend sourcing a better quality sausage Patty. Biscuits are not bad at all, so you got that right. Also ordered the cinnamon roll that looked delish on the menu but again, lacked flavor. my favorite brunch spot!! the food is amazing and well portioned (i've had the bacon flight, french toast flight, pancakes, breakfast platter, and cinnamon roll and everything has been so tasty), the menu is large and has great looking vegan options, the coffee is delicious (house coffee and fancy lattes), it's always clean, and the service is outstanding. it is clear the team cares about their jobs, the food, and most importantly, the customers. This was a last minute decision by me and my wife, however I think we found our new obsession. We came to this location with fairly average expectations and we were so wrong. I ordered the meat lovers omelette thinking I would get the standard omelette like from every other breakfast spot. Mostly egg not very many toppings but this thing was mostly toppings. The biscuits are the best I've had since I left the east coast. Today 12 of us were working a detail in north Phoenix. When we finally got a break, someone suggested this restaurant for lunch. We walked in and the staff greeted us immediately, pulled several tables together and got us all seated. They took our drink orders right away (it was super hot and muggy out today) and the manager brought out these HUGE cinnamon buns for us to munch on as we decided on our orders. The menu is BIG and it goes right along with the food....BIG. It was a ton of food!!! From the burgers to the salads to the omelet and pancakes I had. Everything came out fast, hot and delicious. No one complained about anything and we were all stuffed when we left. We were checked on frequently and the staff didn't even complain when we did the biggest pain in the world to a server and asked her to split all the checks.
