Deep dish pizza wasn't right. Drink was too sweet.. Poop was working out hansen. Ambiance is an asylum WAY TOO BRIGHT. Manager was nice tho but I don't think he cares. Cabbage was nasty. Broccoli was cold and undercooked....

BJ's has always hit the spot- from the avocado egg rolls to the pizza to the wings. But TANYA took such good care of us, provided the BEST service, made awesome recommendations, and gave us a lovely dinner experience. Highly recommend!!

I had the Clam Chowder and Salad on this visit and the Lucky ducky drink. I usually get the shrimp pasta but have also had the ribs and the california flatbread. All are very good and the staff are always friendly.

Daughter wanted a pizookie and artichoke dip, so we decided to go here. Here's what we ordered: Artichoke dip and chips: 8 out of 10 Cheeseburger and fries : 7 out of 10 Steak medium well, cooked perfectly: 8 out of 10 Dubai pizookie: 10 out of 10! So good. It used to be a very busy family, energetic place - didn't feel the same vibe. (Probably just an off day.) Friendly staff, food was good. 7.5 out of 10 for me, enjoy!

Supremely average, 2.5 stars, rounding up for the sake of Yelp. Kid's side of sweet potato fries - $0.99 (thanks for this) Spinach & Artichoke dip - $16.99 Grilled Chicken Alfredo - $24.49 Jambalaya - $27.49 1 point for having plenty of televisions to watch the Copa Mundial matchup. 1 point for our server being nice. The only reasonably priced item = sweet potato fries. Everything else tastes like it comes from a bag. The jambalaya was dry. The grilled chicken alfredo was bland and the broccoli wasn't cooked. It was hard and cold. There was one part of the dish that was salted, so that was a surprise to enjoy that bite. The spinach and artichoke dip was good (microwaved, too?) however the chips tasted old and oily. That leads me to believe maybe the chips are actually made in-house? Then set aside on a heat lamp until they become harder to enjoy. I don't think I'll come to this location again, and the issues are likely chain-wide. Some savings with my cash back app (rhymes with SHMUPSIDE) and even that 6% cash back doesn't feel worth it for the lackluster experience.

DOWNGRADING MY REVIEW FOR THE GLENDALE RESTAURANT =================================================== My husband and I popped in for the $13.00 pizookie lunch special and sat at the bar on Friday, July 3, 2026. It was nice watching the World Cup game between Australia and Egypt. The food was good. I loved my strawberry and chicken salad. My husband usually orders the chicken parmesan. Service was quick. The only downside which I wrote about in another review that the restaurant sent me was the slight sewage smell while sitting at the bar. Something is definitely going on in connection with the plumbing at the bar area and it needs serious attention. I am hesitant to go in again until the problem is resolved.

I love to give credit where it's due BUT I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD HAVE BEEN CREDITED A MEAL FOR TWO .. One of the worst services received as paying customers. The line on this Friday was out the door so we asked about sitting at the bar area. There were 4 empty tables and only one was clean. An employee kept bragging to customers who have been sitting and ate on their second drink how she just got back from Thailand as she grabbed items from my table without even acknowledging me and my guest. I then had to go get my own menu. As I sat a diff server came to being a new party there menus and joked with them and said she'll be right back (having to walk past us to the bar and would have to pass us again to get back to them) again after not being acknowledged and not noticing that our table was empty .. she tried to walk past and I had to let her know hi we arrived first. We ordered and we were brought the wrong size pizza - this was pretty much a let down. We also asked for light cheese and that was not payed attention too ... After passing us and seeing someone brought us our food she pointed , nodded and called away all in the same motion - never coming back or asking if we need anything or seeing that we didn't have cutlery. THIS WAS MAJORLY DISAPPOINTING ON TOPNOF EVERYTHING.. Regular ambiance of sports , bros , family a large party or two .. Don't think I'll be returning here. ALL BAD 0 stars still isn't an option.

We came here after a car show since it was the closest restaurant around that had (BONUS) online check ins available. Upon checking in online and getting our seats took about 15 minutes which was great for it being busy. Service by the waitress was great but food is just OK. Food looks nothing like the photos they have on their menu but if you want average quick food, it works. A bonus for me is always a kids menu and the special treats the kids get before their meal to keep them busy. We also got the trip pizooki which was the highlight of the meal. The sugar cookie was my fave!

Amazing service by Tanya! She brings on the energy and hospitality. She recommended a lot of the foods and the deep dish chicken and bacon ranch pizza is a must! My friends and I will definitely come back! Of course we were here for the pizookie!

This place is so unorganized and has horrible service. The people in the front are so rude and unhelpful. The wait time they gave me was 30 mins but they were seating multiple people who got here after us. When i asked if i could sit outside she simply said "no" yet there was people sitting outside and didnt care to explain that they werent serving at the time they just said no, it made us think we werent able to sit and enjoy the game while waiting. There was so many tables open and we werent being seated. The restaurant isnt even that busy to the point to were it takes an hour plus to seat us. I loved the service the last time i was here only because of the server we had but besides that this place is unorganized and a waste of time. Save your time and go to the burbank location.

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday lunch, and what should have been a special day turned into an absolute disaster. From the moment we sat down, the service was terrible. We waited at least 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. When our server finally came over, she took my boyfriend's beer order and walked away without even asking if I wanted something to drink. When I pointed it out, I was met with attitude instead of an apology. The restaurant was not packed. There was a large party outside and several occupied tables inside, but nothing that should justify the level of neglect we experienced. We watched multiple tables that were seated after us receive their food and begin eating while we continued to sit there waiting. After 45 minutes, I finally asked where our food was and was told they had to take care of the large party first. Apparently, everyone else in the restaurant mattered more than we did. After waiting nearly an hour, my food arrived cold. Not lukewarm--cold. The ribs were barely warm on the outside and refrigerator-cold in the middle. My boyfriend tasted them and agreed. It honestly felt like someone rushed the order, pulled it from a cooler, and sent it out to our table hoping we wouldn't notice. What happened next was even worse. The manager was called over, and I have rarely encountered someone who seemed less interested in resolving a customer complaint. She casually offered to remove my meal from the bill and immediately started walking away as if the issue had been solved. No genuine apology. No concern. No effort to replace the meal. No attempt to salvage what was supposed to be a birthday celebration. When I explained that I wasn't looking for a quick brush-off, her response was essentially, "Well, it sounds like you don't want to come back." Seriously? That's your solution to a customer who just waited 45 minutes for cold food on a birthday lunch? I spent over 40 years in management, and I was stunned by the complete lack of professionalism. A competent manager would have apologized sincerely, replaced the meal immediately, checked on the table personally, and done everything possible to turn the experience around. Instead, I was treated as though I was an inconvenience for expecting hot food and decent service. Then came the final insult. The manager offered a courtesy card. As we were leaving, I asked what the balance was and was told it had $0 on it. A second employee checked and also said $0. At that point, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I asked to speak with the manager again, but she wouldn't even come out. Instead, she sent other employees to issue another card with $30 loaded on it. This time they provided proof of the balance. The entire experience was a mess from beginning to end. Poor service. Excessive wait times. Cold food. An indifferent manager. Zero accountability. Birthdays are supposed to be enjoyable. Instead, this turned into the meal from hell. We have been customers here before and have never experienced anything close to this level of incompetence. The $30 card will likely be given away because after this experience, I have absolutely no desire to return. If management treats loyal customers this way, I can only imagine how little they care about everyone else.

We got there at 10:55 am and it was closed. I was crushed. Then I said to my 90 year old mom, maybe they open at 11and i made her walk all the way back to the front door and sure enough it opens at 11 am! I told the manager they really need to post the days and hours in large white letters on the front door. I only saw where it said the hours in tiny letters that mom and I did not see. at all. Had a great $13 meal of pizza and a salad and even a dessert, a pozookie. Mom got a broccoli cheese soup and we both left happy and full. Nice waiter and manager.

Honestly, BJ's is BJ's .....but the real 5 stars go to Tanya. Tanya was my server - make sure to ask if she's available if you can. Her detailed descriptions of the menu really helped me understand how to create the best experience for me and my 3 friends. Tanya made me feel like a regular on my first time at BJ's. This BJ's Restaurant location is a short walk from The Americana at Brand. I had coupons for a free pazookie [for this location only] that I wanted to use. Upon entering, the first thing I noticed was how spacious and clean the establishment was. I'd like to have a work party here in the future. Anyway... Staff was extremely nice. Manny was our server and he was great; very friendly. My coupon terms and conditions stated only one coupon per party, but he was able to ask his manager to override that condition and use all three at once. I order jambalaya. I couldn't finish it; it was a big portion. The jambalaya definitely reminds me of my time in NOLA with the Cajun spice heat in every bite consumed. The heat was tolerable, though.

The food was great! Love the happy hour menu! We got $4 chips and salsa and $7 pizza amongst other items with my friends! The ambiance was nice. It was all good vibes. It was my nieces bday and I took the girls out, they wanted to come to BJs and have pizookie, delicious treat. Service was excellent, our server Julio was so attentive, professional and just great. I don't know, very mixed feelings about the food. Let's start from the service. Excellent !!!! Called in with a few questions and the staff was amazing. The person bringing the food to the curbside was very professional, courteous and caring. Now about the food: the pictures don't represent the actual size received. The pizza, photo attached was $24.99, which was smaller than a personal size. French fries portion was less than what you would get when you dine in. I feel like I've been a victim of shrinkflation. I think it's better to go to the restaurant than to order take out. read more

It took like 50+ mins to get seated. Keep in mind everyone after us was being seated. After we asked if it was ok to sit in the patio the host told us we couldn't sit outside. We had an amazing experience the last we came but honestly today the service was so bad. I'm very considerate when it comes to busy days but it was just ridiculous. My boss treated us to pizookies but the order was cancelled without telling us. Then they tried charging the order again when our boss had used a giftcard so obviously the gift card had a balance of zero. The manager refused to come out when we asked to speak to him. This was such a waste of time and gas. 11 people left disappointed. The giftcard money better be back in the giftcard by tomorrow if not we will be calling corporate. read more

I made reservations for a party of seven to dine here for Father's Day. When we arrived, the restaurant was fairly empty, so we were seated right away. However, there were menus already on the table, and no staff greeted us after we sat down. After waiting for about 20 minutes without being acknowledged, I flagged down a nearby server and informed them that no one had come by to take our orders. Our assigned server arrived shortly afterward, apologized, and explained that he believed another server had been assigned to our table. A kind manager also came over to apologize for the confusion. I ordered the prime rib special, which is available all day on Sundays. It's a generous portion and includes two sides, as well as a choice of soup or salad. I would have preferred to receive the salad first, as it was a bit awkward to eat everything at once, but I'll be sure to request that next time. The prime rib special also includes a Pizookie, which I shared with my kids. You can choose from a variety of flavors, which was a nice bonus. read more

BJ's Restaurant Experience - Not Exactly a Special Occasion Spot or what I thought it was going to be. I guess BJ's isn't the place to go for a Caesar side salad or apparently their prime rib special either. My wife, kids, and I decided to head there after a kids' concert at the mall around midday. I mean, what could go wrong? Apparently, quite a bit. The Service: We were seated quickly since the restaurant wasn't busy at the time. Menus were handed out, and we started looking over our options for lunch. Then... nothing. No server came by for about 20 minutes. Eventually, we flagged someone down to ask what was going on. The server assigned to our table showed up and explained that he thought someone else had already helped us a bit strange, considering the menus were just sitting there untouched. To make up for the delay, they offered us a complimentary appetizer or dessert, which was appreciated. We chose the avocado egg rolls. We also requested to split the bill my wife and I with our kids on one check, and my brother with his wife and child on the other. Somehow, the server managed to mix up the orders, placing their items on our check and vice versa. Fixing the mistake turned into a bit of a hassle. For context, this all happened around noon on a Sunday so not exactly peak dining hours. Yet the service still missed the mark. The Food: I ordered a Caesar salad with a side of chicken. Visually, it reminded me of something you'd get at Chuck E. Cheese. The lettuce was yellowing and looked pretty sad. It was edible because I was hungry, but definitely not appetizing or fresh just basic, low-quality ingredients. My wife ordered the prime rib special, which came with two sides, a side salad, and a Pizookie. For the sides, she chose mashed potatoes and broccoli. The mashed potatoes lacked butter and flavor, and the broccoli was dry and overcooked. The prime rib itself was disappointing it was about 60% fat. While I know prime rib is a fattier cut, this was excessive. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic: offer a "special" using the cheapest cuts to attract customers, but deliver something inedible. The steak looked big, but most of it was just fat. The only thing "special" about it was how much of it wasn't meat. Honestly, the food quality was more on par with a Sizzler, but at Cheesecake Factory prices. Not exactly the vibe we were hoping for on Father's Day. The Ambience: Typical BJ's décor nothing remarkable. The restaurant had plenty of empty tables due to the time of day, yet they still couldn't manage decent service despite the light crowd. In Conclusion: Unless my kids are specifically begging for a Pizookie, I don't see myself going out of my way to return to BJ's. The service was underwhelming, the food lacked quality, and the overall experience just didn't justify the price. I'll be choosing a restaurant with better service and fresher ingredients next time. read more

Haven't been to a BJ's in a very long time but when I heard they revamped the pizza I had to go in and try it. I am glad I decided to go because everything was so yummy! The pizza was definitely better but it needed more cheese, hopefully the pizza we got was just a one off because if it had the right amount of cheese that would have been perfect! Our waitress Tanya was incredible! She was so friendly and attentive, I haven't had service like this in a long time. Tanya recommended getting the avocado egg rolls and OMG they were delicious! I have been coming to this BJ's for years now, I hadn't been here for several years and went yesterday; the place was packed, and that tells you something. Food was great, prices are very reasonable (spent $70 for 2 people on dinner), and the staff is friendly. I remember I would come pre-covid, and this place would be almost empty. We were very disappointed with our visit. We came after a convention in Pasadena. It took at least 20 minutes after being seated to get our drink orders and we put in our food orders when we finally did see the waiter. The waiter was nice, but we had very long waits all night. My friend and I ordered the Mediterranean chicken bowl and both of our dishes came with crunchy rice and quinoa, we let the server know and he seemed understanding and took it back. It came back about six minutes later, the same dishes, just microwaved with more cream sauce. Rice was still crunch and now the cold crunchy vegetables were hot and mushy (cucumber, tomato, etc.). We ordered more drinks and didn't receive them till 30 minutes later when we were ready to go, and had to ask for a Togo box multiple times. The bathrooms also were not clean! This review is long overdue, but I had to share how wonderful our experience was at BJ's (SEPTEMBER 2025)! My family and I were on vacation, surprising our eldest son with a Universal Studios trip for his 13th birthday. Because my younger son has severe food allergies, we are extremely limited when it comes to dining out, so we were excited to have dinner at BJ's since it's one of the few places he can safely enjoy. Our server, Katie, was absolutely incredible. From the moment she walked up to our table, she was warm, kind, and so sweet to both of my boys. We originally ordered chicken tenders for the kids, but once I mentioned my son's allergies, Katie immediately checked with the kitchen and the manager on duty. I'm so sorry I didn't catch the manager's name, but she was just as kind and attentive. They informed us that the tenders are fried in the same oil as seafood, so we switched to ordering a pizza instead. What stood out the most was how proactive and caring both Katie and the manager were. They didn't hesitate, they double-checked everything, and even came back to follow up to make sure we felt comfortable and safe. Both Katie and the manager checked in on us afterward, and their kindness really stood out. If Katie is still part of the team, she deserves all the praise. Very smooth and not overwhelmingly strong. Refreshing and tasted perfect during a hot Sunday afternoon. Plenty of activities to do here while you enjoy your beer or any other cocktail of your choice. I wish I lived closer since this is a chill spot to come out and hang. Gald I came by and checked them out. I recommend you visit them if you are nearby this location.

There are 3 co-ed restrooms which are only located on the bottom floor near the entrance. I'm not sure if parking gets difficult, but we got lucky with street parking right in front. Something to point out... Although we stayed for an entire football game, we didn't really encounter too many employees during our visit (so not sure if they were short staffed or they don't really go upstairs). We didn't feel comfortable leaving our glasses and trash from the foodtruck and with consideration to others, we bussed our own table/space before leaving. The only interaction with staff was when ordering the beer at the front counter and they were polite. Something to keep in mind... dress warm or according to the weather. The building is an open hangar and although they have space heaters throughout, it got a bit cold when we were there (January)... they eventually closed part of the entrance door, so i guess they felt it too lol! I'm sure it's the opposite during summer, so I guess I'll find out then. Overall, visually pleasing, great use of space and vintage decor, cozy and relaxed vibes. I got the mango sticky rice matcha for my husband which he enjoyed but he also lamented in desiring a stronger matcha flavor. Despite this, I still thought that overall the drinks were tasty and I would return to try their other offerings!

We were thrilled to support a Filipino business and it did not disappoint. There were many filipinos flavors featuring themes that reminded me of the things I had growing up. These included, Milo, ube, buko pandan, and calamansi. The staff was incredibly patient and friendly, allowing us many samples because we were so indecisive. They even had a small drawer full of Lactaid for us lactose intolerant peeps. I personally got ube and black sesame which were delicious. My siblings got milo crunch, white coffee, and buko pandan which were also amazing. There's a small indoor bench, but also a lot of outdoor seating with lots of shade. I'm definitely coming here again.

Complimentary Cuban bread is served as an appetizer at the table. I always order the Bistec Empanizado with two sides. This time, I had moros (black beans and white rice cooked together) and tostones (fried, smashed green plantains), along with a side of avocado salad with onions, oil, and vinegar. It completed the meal perfectly. My husband had the Carne con Papa (beef stew) with moros and plátanos maduros (sweet fried plantains), along with a bottle of Coke. This restaurant is a Glendale staple for both locals and the Cuban community. I remember when it was located on Colorado Boulevard many years ago. Even after all these years, the quality of the food has remained just as excellent for the past 26 years.

Nov. 26, 2008: The night before Thanksgiving, we just had to eat at BJ's after a short stop at the Glendale Galleria for some pre-Thanksgiving shopping. We were all starving, especially myself because I didn't eat much during the day since I slept late and woke up late. Although, I did get a free Hot-Dog-On-A-Stick! The lady was so nice because the credit card machine was just mal-functioning the whole time so she said it was on the house! Not everything in life is free so when the offer was there, I accepted (even though I first courteously asked if she was sure). At this point I thought, I should've ordered a cherry lemonade because that was something I craved later in the evening. Anyways, when we finally arrived at BJ's, I felt like eating a salad. It just sounded fresh, crunchy and mouth-watering. I ended up with a Field of Greens salad. The salad was dressed with raspberry walnut vinaigrette, some scattered feta cheese, tiny and sweet mandarin oranges, and candied pecans. Lately, I've been having a thing for candied pecans. The waiter (Anthony M.) even gave me a little additional side cup of candied pecans. Of course they went great with my salad! For some reason, we decided to celebrate Thanksgiving early by ordering drinks. I tend not to get drinks since I just eat my food mostly and don't get dehydrated often when doing so. But this time, we went all out and ordered not your usual drinks, but beer...SEVEN different kinds that is! It was the 7 set-taster, which included their very own brews: BJ's Brewhouse Blonde, Harvest Hefeweizen, Piranha Pale Ale, BJ's Jeremiah Red, B.J.'s P.M. Porter, Tatonka Stout, and the Nutty Brewnette. Each beer was made to have a different style, malt variety, alcohol percentage, and bitterness. I actually liked the Tatonka Stout the most probably because it was highest in the amount of bitterness it had, which was 60 (IBU). It sure was an experience having to taste all the different kinds of beers they had and even better because it was during happy hour so $1-2 off drinks. Next time, I'll probably try their various cocktails. I even got to try a friend's signature BJ's Bacon Cheeseburger pizza. I've never had one of these before and I think the Applewood smoked bacon was what truly made the difference on the pizza. It was burger heaven (with chunks/bits of Angus beef) meets gourmet pizza. After BJ's we went to Vons and got some Ben & Jerry's mini-ice cream cups that come with their individual spoons on the top cover. We had to get them since we didn't have room for a Pazookie (fresh, oven-baked cookie with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on top or other selections as well). I had one Ben & Jerry's chocolate chip cookie dough and a Haagen Daz caramel flavored ice cream. They were only $1 each and ended a perfect meal by satisfying the midnight palate. The one star is for the manager who helped us out, but if it weren't for him, this place would definitely not get any stars. I've heard service is very slow at this one, but me and a group of 6 came in and gave it a shot. Normally I get the Great White pizza, but this time I wanted wings! We ordered, server was awesome and everything was great. 45 minutes in and we asked about our food and someone comes and hands only 2 of the hamburgers down (4 meals still not there). One is fine, and one is completely cold. Like clearly very old. So we politely asked to get it warmed up or remade and thought it was no problem. About 5 minutes later, the burger that was sent back came out and was COLD AGAIN and my boneless wings came and as per usual, I always use a knife and fork. I know, I'm weird.... but thank God I did. When I cut into it, it was completely RAW. Like not a little raw, I mean it hadn't even touched the fryer - RAW. It looked like it was tossed in batter and coated with sauce and plated, no sign of being cooked whatsoever. I have never been so shocked at a restaurant. We couldn't believe it! I didn't even think to take a picture as I was just staring at a raw piece of chicken. What's even worse is I thought maybe it was just one of the wings.... but no... EVERY SINGLE piece was raw!!!! We got the manager and he was so shocked, apologetic, and comped the meal and offered something else. But with that, my appetite was shot. The kitchen crew needs to be reprimanded and taught food handling safety. I will never come back again. I Felt for the poor manager who had to deal with this. He did all he could, but kitchen staff really needs to be fired and rehired. read more

Came here to grab some lunch after shopping at the Americana. The place was pretty empty, but they still made us wait about 20 minutes because . They finally seated us in 2 booths because it was going to be another 20 minutes for a table for 8. (kids in 1, adults in another). The waitress was curt and seemed annoyed by us because we ordered a grilled cheese and then cancelled (she hadn't even left the table btw). She brought our appetizers with the meal even though we specifically asked her to bring them before. The cauliflower was horrible (overlooked and way too much tumeric), the Mac & cheese had no cheese and the flatbread was too salty. We only sent back the cauliflower bcoz it was really inedible. The manager came up to us to see how we were doing. We politely told him our grievances and he acknowledged them but did not even buy us dessert. At the end of the meal, she asked us if we wanted 2 separate checks (remember they sat us in 2 separate booths side by side - 4 of our kids ranging from ages 9-13- were together and 4 adults in the other booth). I thought she was joking and I pointed at the little 9 year old boy and said "it's on him today!" Sure enough, she brings us 2 separate checks and hands 1 to the 9 year old boy! I was flabbergasted and could not believe she didn't realize we were joking! Anyways it is what it is. Next time I go there, I'll be only ordering a simple pizza and hope this airhead of a waitress doesn't serve me again! read more

Honestly this is my family and close friends go to BJs but tonight was a bit disappointing. When we got there it wasn't full it got full while we sat there. The sever was nice but didn't pay attention to details. I ordered an appetizer and when they brought them we had no plates so I had to ask for them that was one. 2. I ordered an Arnold Palmer and it was more lemonade than ice tea so I pointed at the drink and asked if I can get more ice tea, she brought me a whole cup of ice tea, hmm how was I supposed to mix 2 full cups. 3. I ordered a cheeseburger with NO tomatoes! I got a burger with tomatoes no lettuce. I asked for lettuce I got it problem solved but at this point I'm annoyed, the waitress asks if everything is okay, I said no it's not but it's okay. She asked what was wrong and I said it's okay and ignored her when she kept asking, 2 seconds later I have who I'm assuming is the manager come to the table and ask if everything's fine I ignore him my sister and family respond with everything is fine is been fixed he continues to ask and I'm ignoring him because like I said I'm annoyed and can be a B*tch so I rather ignore him. He kept asking and clearly I'm avoiding him. He finally leaves but overall I did not appreciate him coming over and keep asking when he clearly sees I'm ignoring him. Also my brother and sister asked for their food well done & it was not cooked well done, but after he came to the table they decided to not say anything. read more

I hate writing a bad review. But there comes to a point where it has to be said. First of all it was a saturday and it was busy, we enter the establishment we were told that it was going to be a 15 minute wait, turns out computers crashed and everyones name was lost, we ended up waiting for 40 minutes. 2nd we ended up in a booth and was greeted by our waitress almost immediately she took our order came back to tell us that we don't have the ingredients to make your drink. Again understandable, she recommended something else which turned out to be -for lock or for better- disgusting. 3rd she brought in the appetizer which was artichoke and spinach. The chips tasted like they were months old- ended up throwing them up later on in the afternoon- . 4th during the appetizers we realized we had no silverware. We asked kindly, and instead she brought us our entree meal, another waitress ended up bringing it for us. However I will say good things. They steak I orders medium couldn't have been cooked any better! -props to the cook- And we did complain about our appetizer and the manager mark was very gracious and gladly refunded us our money. This wasnt the first time we came here. And normally I would be, eh, satisfied, but they get the bad review just because if you can't handle the stress especially when you have a large seating area. Beyond excellent experience!!! We were a party of 30 people and we wanted to go out on a Saturday night... I called in on Tuesday to make the reservation and I had the pleasure of speaking with Stephanie. She was Very nice and she told me that they have a special menu for larger parties which I didn't know about. It turns out they have a buffet style which includes bottomless pizza, pasta, salad and nonalcoholic beverages. We decided to opt for this so that everyone can have a set price to pay. When we showed up for our reservation I was able to meet another manager as well whose name was Armando. Both him and Stephanie were great! The customer service was on point and the food was amazing!!! The buffet table looked great, the food was generous, and they made sure to refill until we were all full. Our server,David, Did an amazing job as well. He took drink orders made sure everyone had everything they needed and not drinks were constantly refilled. They were all nice and did their job with a smile. I would definitely recommend this location as their service is 100% and their food was hot and delicious. If I could give him more than five stars I would! Thanks to them I will be back much more frequently. read more

I've given this restaurant several chances, but unfortunately, my experiences have consistently fallen short, and yesterday was no exception. Despite having a reservation for 7:15 PM, we weren't seated until close to 8. After finally being seated, I visited the restroom and found the floors dirty and both soap dispensers empty, which left a poor impression. When it came to the food, things didn't improve. I specifically asked for the kids' pasta to be prepared with just a little butter, but it arrived drenched in oil. The Protein Bowl was heavily rice-based, with about 90% of the dish being brown rice. I found only a few grains of quinoa after carefully examining the bowl. The guacamole and chips were too spicy for my child, and when I requested guacamole without jalapeños, I was told the only alternative was plain avocado. I accepted that, but what arrived was clearly underripe and rubbery...something that should have been caught before it left the kitchen. I ended up sending it back. After multiple visits and repeated disappointments in both service and food quality, I've decided this will be my last. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken to heart to improve future guest experiences. read more

I had an extremely disappointing experience at BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse. The food was overcooked and tasted incredibly bland, leaving me with a less than satisfying meal. To make matters worse, the restaurant ambiance was marred by a horrendous smell, not only in the dining area but also in the kitchen and restrooms. The most upsetting part of my visit was the incident involving our waiter, Julio. He dropped his tray, spilling soda all over me and my table. This not only ruined my dining experience but also damaged my expensive clothing. To make matters worse, Julio's attitude throughout the ordeal was far from accommodating, which added insult to injury. I want to add that Tanya and TJ are both professional and courteous. The manager was a disappointment though. I'm surprised the restaurant is still running if she is the manager. Yikes! I can't help but feel extremely disappointed by the overall experience, and I won't be returning to BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse anytime soon. There are plenty of better restaurants around the area like Cheesecake factory. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this disaster of an establishment. read more

I don't usually write Yelp reviews, but Tanya at BJ's deserves all the recognition! From the moment we sat down, she brought a level of service that was simply exceptional. She greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm, instantly making us feel welcome. Tanya's attention to detail was remarkable. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, kept our drinks topped off, and made excellent menu suggestions (seriously, her recommendation for the Parmesan Crusted Chicken was a game changer!). My husband and I have been regulars at BJ's for years, and one of the biggest reasons we keep coming back is Atchara. She is hands down one of the best servers we've ever had. My partners and I needed a little family dinner and to watch the game. The customer service is amazing here, I got Tanya as my server and she has the finest heart at work. You will be blessed when you have her. She was so kind, articulate and you'll fee comfortable with her right away. She understands what you wants 2 steps ahead and she never disappoints all her rounds. The manager Noel as well is a life saver, even though its game night, life never ends and my work and classes needs submission. With a little life in my laptop, I asked for revival and without hesitation, the ansswer Is "if you trust me." We ordered: Classic cheeseburger with unlimited fries (Wednesday) And Wednesday beers, paired with ahi tuna. Wine for the win, and a customized dessert vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of olive oil and a dash of salt. First time here and definitely not the last. Grateful to be here. read more

Her attentiveness was spot on--she knew exactly when to check in without being overbearing, and her recommendations were on point. While the ambience was inviting and the food itself had a pleasing taste, there were some notable drawbacks that detracted from the overall enjoyment. The most significant issue was the extensive wait time--we waited a frustrating 45 minutes to get our food after placing our order (ordered at 8:10 and got it at 8:55). Furthermore, when our Filet Mignon arrived, it was missing the garlic butter that was supposed to accompany it. It took an additional 10 minutes for the waiter to bring it to our table upon request. It's just to get and grab the bowl of butter from the kitchen, so the delay was unacceptable. Additionally, the BJ's Favorite Pizza we ordered was unfortunately delivered cold. Despite these shortcomings, the flavors of the dishes were still enjoyable. However, the prolonged wait times and service lapses prevent me from giving a higher rating. While I typically lean towards being a generous tipper, this time I felt that the service did not warrant it. Overall, a mixed experience with room for improvement. read more

Let's start off with the fact that my family and I were seated in a table where the floors were super wet and had spills of food and drinks. That is disgusting and dangerous. Right on top of the spill, they just placed my 10 month old high chair. Then, it took the server like 20 min to come and tell us, "we will be right with you". We notice she is attending to a bigger party, and sitting with them I guess to divide the payment. Later on, another server comes, and finally asks us if we wanted to drink anything, and took our order. The food itself took about 40 min to come. We observed that another table that got seated way after us got their food right away. Mind you, we only ordered 1 plate of food to share. Then finally the food comes, our server is still sitting with the big party grabbing their checks. Towards the end, the other server that helped us, came every 5 min to come and collect our check. I just don't get it, where is the courtesy and where is the good service in this place??! read more

Tanya was our server last Saturday for an early dinner, and she was absolutely amazing! From the moment we were seated, she took care of us right away. She brought us water with freshly sliced lemon and made sure we felt welcome. She's incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and ready to serve. Tanya recited all the specials and even recommended some great options. After taking our orders, she came back with a few samples for us to try for next time, talk about hands-on marketing! There was a small mix-up with our orders, but it wasn't her fault at all, and she handled it quickly and professionally. Overall, the experience of being served by Tanya was excellent. She's hospitable, attentive, and has an energy that's both fun and friendly. I noticed how well she cared for other tables, too. She's truly a gem for the restaurant and definitely deserves a raise! BJ's is one of my all-time favorite family restaurants to go to if you're looking for a good moderate priced restaurant with a fantastic menu of a lot of items to choose from and I got to see I've been coming here since it opened up in Burbank and now when it opened up in Glendale I've been coming ever since and I've tried literally everything on the menu and I cannot say I found something I do not like under menu all their food is fantastic and fresh and taste amazing the service could be improved a little bit as far as the waiter not paying attention to you as much you could do a better job at that but the food is fantastic for the price and is a great place to bring the kids or family love this place recommend it to anyone who has not experienced it yet they have fresh pizza pasta salad sandwiches paninis kids meals and of course their own fresh line of beer that's been tastic and an open bar that's very good highly recommend BJ's to anyone read more

Wow. Now, I love Bj's and it's got great food, but my first, and hopefully last experience at the one on brand in glendale was absolutely horrible. Our waiter took what seemed like a half hour to take our order, and there were only about four other tables that were full besides ours, and were seemingly covered by other waiters/waitresses. My wife was served some pretty bad steak that was only well done on the outside and still bloody on the inside, which is definitely not what she asked for. He then took another half hour to bring it back to us when we sent it back, and when he brought it back, it was absolutely black, it was burned so badly. THEN, another half our waiting for the check to come. It came to the point where I had to get up and walk over to the hostess (the one who seats people,) to ask her to go get our waiter so that we could finally leave. It was one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant in awhile. read more

Was at this location last Saturday. Service was great. ( the only reason I'm leaving 2 stars) What gets me is the fact that my boyfriend and I both ordered a $23 ribeye, and were not given steak knives. How am I supposed to cut through a fatty ribeye without a steak knife?? Apparently, they have 3 steak knives for the whole restaurant??? No wonder the bar was completely empty at 9pm on the Saturday before Christmas! Management doesn't seem to care about their guests is what I gathered from that. I still can't believe we spent over $100 dollars after tip. Get it together Glendale BJs. I should also mention the disgusting state of the restrooms. No toilet paper in any of the stalls, paper towels and other debris all over the restroom floors. Makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like..... I am not one to complain while I'm out, but this still bothered me days later which is why I am leaving the review. read more

We had a really bad experience in this restaurant last night. Low quality service, and food. They don't have enough waiters/waitresses. All they care is to get more people inside, but believe me last night the waitress told us "You are lucky we have food for you guys tonight, the table next to you is waiting here for more than an hour, this was the last steak for tonight which you got." We were there at 8:30 PM. I mentioned to the management that there are so many local restaurants like RAFFI'S PLACE at Broadway Ave. where we can enjoy our time and have good food, and receive good service. If BJ's Restaurant continues with such terrible service, then for sure next time we won't give any business to them. Dear friends, please don't ignore and report to the management if you see anything wrong in these restaurants. They make thousands of dollars each day so they must improve their services. read more

this place is great!! great atmosphere, great service, and great food!! im not really a fan of pizza but i ordered a mini of pep and sausage and man o man!!!! love the bread!!! on this night of 11-18-08, i went in to have dinner with my nephew and his girlfriend, i ordered 3orders of food. 2apps and my mini pizza. the waiter was shocked i ordered this much and right off the bat asked us is we were gonna need boxes... i said "ohhh noo.. im gonna finish the food". He loooked at me and said, " if u finish this, pizookies on me". i laughed and said dont tempt me. about 20mins later, he comes back to clear out 2 of my 3 plates and was shocked that i ate that much. a few minutes later he returns with a double chocolate pizookie and said i suprised the heck out of him. over all this place was great, great experience, great food, and great service! out and in search of the next meall..! read more
