During our stay in Camarillo we came to this BJs because my hubby is part of the beer club. We had to use one of his perks by 7/1! We got to use it and we came in time for happy your, yay, win! I believe happy hour is between 3-7pm weekdays and late night Sunday - Thursday. Service was great, our waiter was very friendly. He gave us sodas to go, which we wanted, but didn't finish. He offered, we felt bad saying no. You can tell they were busy, our waiter forgot that we ordered, lol. But again, very nice guy. Food was great, the hubs got the baked ziti and I got the chicken fettuccini. They were good, I actually got so much pasta I could not finish it. I thought my dish would have more broccoli, but that's ok. The chicken was tasty. Our appetizer go to, the spinach artichoke dip was good. Our monkey bread pazookie (sp) was tasty as well. We're definitely coming back to this BJs if we're ever in the area. Great service, great food, great atmosphere, fun times. By the way, lots of people were not wearing masks, some employees were. I've gone here multiple times in the past but the service has gotten way worse over the years. I came here earlier today and we sat at the bar for Happy Hour, we got menus but no silverware. It took them a while it seemed to even realize we were there even though it was pretty empty. After our meals we ordered a Pizookie and it took 15+ minutes to get it we had to ask someone about it for it to come out. read more

Absolutely horrible service, had the worst experience here. And food was terrible. The food runner made fun of us for ordering something that wasn't being served, very weird comment and joke he made. When we complained, the manager didn't really do much to fix the situation or make it better. We didn't even get a discount on our meal, which doesn't matter that much but I was shocked that they didn't at least try and compensate for their rude workers. I went here the other night because a friend if mine loves the double pork chop. The service in the beginning was great but it went downhill from there. Our food took forever to come and a waiter came to our table trying to deliver burgers which we didn't order. He was totally lost and walked around looking for who may ordered these burgers. Then he went back into the kitchen. When our food came they brought the porkchops with dried up mashed potatoes so my friend asked for fresher potatoes which never came. I ordered a 4 piece pizza and they brought out this giant pizza. The pizza was terrible as it was all bread and no toppings. They only charge me for what I ordered but it still was a bad pizza. Recently attended BJ's for my sister's 25th Bday. We had a reserved table for 21 people . Our waitress was awesome, I totally spaced on her name, but she is the reason for bumping up my review one more star. 4/5 because my mushroom Swiss burger was a disaster. It fell apart completely, my bread was extremely soggy, the mushrooms were overkill and overloaded, and i had asked for my meat to be well done (it was medium-well). Been there several times. It is usually fair, but last night they dropped the ball big time. We came in last night. It took the waiter 30 minutes before offering any drinks. It took another 20 to get them. We ordered food, a total of four entrees. Needless to say it took a million years to get them. My sister's entree never arrived to the table. We never were offered refills. We were celebrating a special occasion and it was ruined. Bottom line we spent almost three hours in the venue, with no drinks refilled, and one entree never came; and another two other came with sides missing. I kid you not! They eventually brought them. I had to update my review. I stop here at BJ's often when passing through Oxnard, as you can read from my previous reviews. We arrived after 2pm, on a Friday. Lunch specials! My friend and I ordered endless soup and salad. 5 STARS FOR THE FOOD! My chicken tortilla soup was excellent! There is corn, chicken, a hint of lemon with avocado pieces. I love this soup. My friend loved her tomato bisque soup! I also ordered a clam chowder which was tasty. For the salads we both ordered the caesar salads which are truly tasty and flavorful. The tomato capresse wtih fresh basil in a reduced basil dressing is also very good. Now here where BJ's lost a star. The server was not very attentive. The restaurant only had a few tables full due to the time: 2:30PM but we often had to look and wait for our server so we could have more soups and salads or just to refill our water glasses. The bathroom was a mess, stinky and the and the mirrors were smeared and not really clean. The lighting in this bathroom is like a nightclub. It was hard to see oneself. As we left, I told one of the servers about the bathroom, and I hope next time I come to BJs, the bathroom will be cleaner. I still love the consistently tasty foods here! read more

We hadn't gone to BJ's in a minute (thanks COVID ) We recently went last Wednesday. The sit down wait time was minimal. Our server, was amazing, his name was Justin. He was very attentive, paid close attention to details. He was extremely busy but he made sure to drop by our table to check on us. Not to mention the food was so delicious as we had remembered. My kid son the picky eater; he enjoyed his food so much. I alway have my usual and like always it didn't disappoint. I had a bite of my husbands tri tip along with the mashed potatoes and asparagus, cooked to perfection. My husband and I had adult drinks, they well delicious and perfect. I use like bj's brewery but lately every time you order online for pick up. Order is always missing something, Santa Fe chicken Salad but not have any chicken. Next order, ordered steak with a side of baked potato. Order didn't come with sour cream or any ingredient for it, literally just a baked potato. Then just now, got my Santa Fe salad and look at the photo of the avocado, it's fucking old avocado. I like supporting local restaurants during these hard times but gotta serve right, man. read more

Made reservations for a party of 15, daughters Graduation! I get there w my party of 15 and try and check-in and the Host stated I was not on the reservation list. I spoke with the manager Jason Leighty.. he stated the restaurant was busy (duh) and that he would not be able to accommodate us, BUT he can put us on the list and we can wait god knows how long????? Not very professional and was very irritated due to the restaurant being "busy" and couldn't handle what comes his way in an orderly manner. The service here is usually pretty bad but tonight takes the pizookie. We get there and the wait is 40-50 and it's a Friday night so obviously we get it. We walk around some stores no big deal. We get a text our table is ready, yay! We go in they seat us for us to sit there for 20 minutes and never greeted by a server. 20 minutes later the server comes over and asks if we've been helped. We said no and we've been here 20 minutes he said okay, I got you I'll be right back. He left to go talk at the hostess stand. We waited another few minutes before we said okay let's go. If the restaurant had be busy and his station was full I'd have understood. I was a server before I get it. He had 2 tables. It was not busy. I like Bj's but it seems this particular location has a service issue. I have been to this location twice and the service was not good. We came in and did not have to wait to be seated but that was where the fun ended. We had to wait 15+ minutes for our server to acknowledge our existence. Our server seemed that she did not want to be at work. Luckily for us, she went on break and our new server was attentive and so much better until it was time to pay. We had to wait 15-20 minutes to cash out. Our original waitress came back and saw we were trying to pay and ignored us or it seemed to us that was the case. To be fair, it seemed our original server had to many big tables and that would be a management issue. On another note, the food was good. Our table ordered a Black and Bleu burger, sirloin steak and Salmon as well as kids pizza. Everyone enjoyed their food. I also had a wedge salad that was tasty. The beer is also good at BJ's if that's your thing. If BJ's improves their service, I'd be happy to increase their rating. read more

Ordered two separate pizza. One deep dish all veggies no cheese (because I don't eat meat or dairy). One Chicken Bacon Ranch for a family member. They combined our order into one pizza because they ran out of small dough. No phone call to notify us, no courtesy upgrades on size....why would you even send this order out knowing it's completely messed up? Why wouldn't you just upgrade the pizzas? I was in the mood for fish and chips. I liked the fact that you now had sweet potato fries. I was hungry and ready for a great meal. You guys totally blew that out of the water in a negative way. Your fish filets were tough but maybe because they were burned to a crisp. If you leave them in the fryer to the point where they are almost black, you overcooked them and need to start over. NOT deliver them to the customer. The sweet potato fries were also incinerated. Your tartar sauce was mainly relish and not to my liking at all. Maybe you should remove fish and chips from your menu because you guys suck at it. Your other offerings are pretty good, maybe you should concentrate on those. Would I recommend you? Well, your servers are nice, Covid sucks, I know you guys are trying to get through this with everyone else but the quality of your food should not fall to the point where it is inedible.
